Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 729:- I am Goddess of Light

Seeing Alex being escorted away by two guards, Spencer felt that they had wasted enough time. It was time to focus on their meeting.

”Letʼs continue...!!” At that time, another guard came to the meeting room. Everyone moved out of the way so the people at the center of the room could see the guard. ”My apologies for interrupting, but people from the Ethereal Empire, the Celestial Terrain, and the Deep Sea Palace are here.” Hearing this, others were confused. Meanwhile, Watson and Spencer exchanged a knowing glance.

”Good....!!” Reinforcements had arrived at the perfect time and place. ”Lead them here,” Spencer ordered the guard. The guard repeatedly nodded his head before he walked out of the room. The whole room fell into heavy silence as everyone waited for the Istarin Empireʼs allies to join them in this meeting. ”Grandpa Watson, have you brought all the solar cannons?” In this fight, long distant weapons are going to be a super weapon against the Homunculus. ”The Solar Cannons has been placed on all fortresses.” The increased height of each fortress would extend the range of the Solar cannons for attacking purposes. The additional height would provide soldiers with a clearer view and enable them to take longer, more precise shots without the risk of accidentally hitting their own side.

A few minutes later, the Rulers of the Ethereal Empire and the Celestial Terrain joined them in the meeting.

Ronny, Noah, and Amelia exchanged quick greetings before the meeting was resumed.

A familiar figure appeared upstairs. The figure immediately rushed to hug Alicia. ”Alicia, I missed you.....!!” It was obviously Sylvie. In such important times, Sylvie couldnʼt stay behind. Under the guise of reinforcements from the Ethereal Empire, Sylvie has brought a few other powerful 5th-order cultivators from the White Lotus Guild including herself. Alicia also hugged Sylvie. Their hug only lasted for a few seconds before Sylvie sat next to Alicia. Amelia could have sent her General in her place. But given how dire the whole situation was, she felt that it would be best if she came to represent her Empire. The Rulers of both Empires have also brought in a total of seven 5th-order cultivators. Additionally, the Celestial Terrain has brought half a million troops. King Noah has come to the battlefield with close to 2 million troops. It would be unfair to compare their numbers since the Celestial Terrainʼs elven population wasnʼt that big. It was important to remember that Elves had a very low birth rate. The number of troops that the Celestial Terrain had was even lower. This was the number of troops that Amelia was able to bring.

Of course, she did not bring her entire army, as that would be foolish.

She had to leave around half of her troops to protect the Celestial Terrain. She also couldnʼt bring all the 5th-order cultivators from her Empire. The presence of 5th-order cultivators protecting the Empire was a very important thing. Without their presence, even an army of millions is useless when facing the enemy 5th-order cultivators. Amelia would be putting her own Empireʼs security at risk if she brought all the 5th-order cultivators here. The same thing could be said for the Ethereal Empire. After all, many of their neighboring Empires have been secretly waiting for an opportunity to attack them. Ronny even felt that if not for the backing of the Istarin Empire, their rivals might have joined hands and would have attacked their Empire. As for the Deep Sea Palace, Luara wasnʼt able to make it to the battlefield. But she has sent Five 5th-order cultivators along with ten thousand Peak 4th-order elite soldiers. Although the number of reinforcements that she sent was small their power made up for it. Although she lacked in quantity, her troops had the quality, making even ten thousand troops very valuable. Once Spencer had everyoneʼs attention, he started explaining their formation. The military personnel were familiar with the formation, but others were not.

”All Dragonians, Dragon Warriors, and Half Dragons have been positioned at the front line to act as our primary defense and offense. Their ability to fly should help us repel the enemy and seize the initiative.”

”All the archers and long-range cannons have been placed at the very back.”

”The archers are divided into four groups.”

”One group is in the watchtowers, and another is in the fortresses. These two groups aim at the enemyʼs high points. The watchtowers and fortresses give them a better view, allowing them to take clearer shots at the enemy while reducing the chances of hitting our own troops. Their elevated positions also make it harder for the enemy to target them.”

”The third group of archers is on the flying ships with long-range cannons. These ships will fly around the battlefield, giving archers a high vantage point to attack from above.”

”Itʼs unfortunate we donʼt have more flying ships. If we did, more archers and cannons, especially Solar cannons, could be placed on them. This would let us attack the enemy from the sky, providing a massive advantage by making it difficult for the enemy to retaliate.” After all, flying ships were invented just a few months ago. There hasnʼt been enough time for the Empire to produce a large number of flying ships. This was due to the shortage of manpower. Since only Percy and his men were capable of making flying ships, without Aditya personally setting up the complex runes, the flying ships could not even fly, making it impossible to mass produce them.

Cough....!!!

Spencer coughed to get everyoneʼs attention. He felt that Watsonʼs remark was unnecessary, but out of respect for Watson, Spencer did not say anything. Even if Spencer was the Prime Minister of the Istarin Empire, in his mind, Watson held a more important status than him. Watson will always be above him, even if he is currently working as a butler. One had to remember that he was the butler of the Dragon Monarch.

”Now, letʼs not get ourselves distracted.”

”The last group of archers joins the troops at the frontline, standing behind the mages. This group can fight the enemy even at close range. Their main job on the battlefield is to support the other troops. Their presence at the front means they can quickly respond to any immediate threats, increasing the effectiveness of our defense and offense.” ”The mages mainly attack from the flying ships and from the back with their long-ranged attacking spells. Just like the archers, their main job will be to provide assistance and take out the enemy for the soldiers on the front line.”

”The Soldiers will magic mounts will join the Dragonians and the Dragon warriors.” As for the generals and other 5th-order cultivators, they will be fighting at the front line. ”Understood...!!” ”They are here....!!!” Everyone went out of the fortress to meet the enemy. From the Silver Meadow Grove, millions of troops began walking towards the fortress. Everyone could see the Echo Dominino Emperor, the King of the Thera King, and the Empress of the Storm Isle Dynasty. But the three rulers were following another mysterious figure that they didnʼt recognize. ”Who is she?” Everyone had the same question in their minds. ”I donʼt know...!!” ”Hey! I donʼt see any Homunculus?” Someone pointed this out. They came to the battlefield prepared to face millions of Homunculus. But they were seeing millions of troops. Even if all the troops of the four Kingdoms (The Hephaestus Kingdom, the Echo Dominion Empire, The Storm Isle Dynasty, and the Thera Kingdom) were gathered here, the number still shouldnʼt be this large.

”Itʼs because all the Homunculus has become Duplicates.” This was the only logical explanation. Otherwise, how can their troop size be so large?

”If you look closely, you can see troops with the same face and body shape walking side by side. It seems they arenʼt even trying to the fact that all the Homunculus has turned into Duplicates.” ”But.....!!!” Some were still unable to accept this explanation. They knew that this was the truth but it was just so hard to accept. Everyone became nervous as they sensed the opponentʼs Aura. ”How can they have so many 5th-order cultivators?” Everyone suddenly became nervous. No one had confidence that they could take on millions of 5th-order cultivators. ”In times like this, we really need Aditya...!!!” Even the Goddesses had no confidence in standing against millions of 5th-order cultivators.

”Julia, we need to call Aditya. Otherwise, this whole battle will become one-sided slaughter.” It was Adam who said this to his daughter. Adam did not want this fight to become one-sided. With this many 5th-order cultivators, they will be easily suppressed. This whole battle will end in less than an hour. ”Everyone, please hold on. If Aditya is successful, then we might win this battle even without needing to raise our weapons or needing to shed a single drop of blood.” Even Julia was under a ton of pressure while saying these words. If Aditya was even late, then the casualties would be too much to ignore. The troops of both sides stood facing each other. ”Who are you?” Spencer asked the beautiful woman who appeared to be in charge. ”Itʼs nice to meet you. I am the Goddess of Light. The name is Luna.” Luna said with a smile. At the same time, the giant Sky Serpent descended from the sky and floated above Luna while staring at other Goddesses.
