Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 742:- Level 2 Dragon Palace - [I]

Henry had no idea why His Majesty wanted him to hunt magic animals. Aditya had never given this kind of order before.

Henry knew that he would eventually know the answer, so he did not bother to ask any questions. He was given very little time, so every second mattered. Henry considered himself to be Adityaʼs shield and sword. As long as Aditya personally gives the order, he will do whatever he is ordered to do.

ʼBut still, I am very curious.ʼ Henry thought to himself as he walked to the very same place where he had left Aditya. As he approached, he sensed a strong and unique new Aura in the Dragon Palace. Henry can feel Adityaʼs Aura next to it. As he approached, he noticed the 2-meter-long tree. What caught Henryʼs attention was its complete redness. The leaves of this tree were shaped like diamonds. Each of the leaves was perfectly diamond-shaped without any irregularity in them. Some of the small leaves had a light red color. At the same time, the bigger and more mature leaves had deep, fiery red colors. The tree trunk was a dark red color with a hint of brown mixed in. The trunk appeared to be not more than half a meter thick. ʼThis tree is not simple.ʼ The Aura of this tree was as strong as the Aura of a Peak 2nd-order or maybe even Half-step Beginner 3rd-order cultivator. ”Your Majesty, I have returned.” Aditya was busy staring at the Tree of Blood. Just from his blood, this tree has already grown this big. But it still wasnʼt powerful enough to become the guardian of the Dragon Palace. It was still in its baby phases. It at least needed to become Peak 4th-order or above to be of any use. ”Henry, take out all the corpses of the Magic Animals.” Henry just waved his hand. The Next second, A mountain of magic Animal corpses appeared in front of Aditya. In such a short period of time, Henry has managed to hunt about a few thousand Magic Animals, which was really impressive given that he hasnʼt yet reached 5th order. ”Your Majesty, what are you planning to do with these many Magic Animal corpses?”

Aditya just smiled and said. ”Just watch!!” Crack....!!!

Henry took a step back when he felt something was moving beneath them. In the next second, hundreds of red thorny vines came out of the ground. The thorny vines wrapped around each of the Magic Animal corpses. All the Magic Animals began to wither at a rapid speed. Their bodies shriveled and soon they became husk of what they originally were. ”Your Majesty, this....!!” Henry has never seen anything like this in his life. ”This is a special tree. This is called the Tree of Blood.” At the same time, inside the Dragon Palace, sensing the movements, Amelia smiled. ʼThe tree is going to grow even stronger now.ʼ The more this tree was fed, the stronger this tree will continue to become. Henry was stunned as he watched the two-meter-tall tree rapidly grow. The tree kept growing until its size reached four and a half meters. In addition to the ones it originally had, the tree had three extra branches.

Henry could feel that the power of the Tree of Blood had reached close to Peak 3rd-order. ”Alright, letʼs stop for now.” In the future, Aditya will arrange for someone to daily feed a few thousand magic animals to this tree. But for now, this much growth was enough. Aditya cannot wait any longer. The Dragon Palace needs to be upgraded. ”Henry, tell everyone in the Dragon Palace to go out. Tell them to stand in front of the Dragon Palace.” Not knowing why Aditya gave him this order, Henry just nodded his head. Aditya returned to the living room, where Spencer and a few others were already waiting for him. ”Itʼs time.....!!!”

”Watson, is everything ready?” Aditya looked at Watson. ”Your Majesty, just as you ordered, I have informed all of the servants to temporarily vacate the Dragon Palace.”

”All the Dragonians and Dragon warriors are standing outside of the Dragon Palace, waiting for you to take action,” Spencer said with a smile. He had missed the opportunity to see the formation of the Dragon Palace, but this time, he was going to witness everything, so naturally, Spencer was very excited about this whole thing. ”What about security?” Aditya asked. ”As per your instructions, security around Dragon Palace has been increased. No one is permitted within a 5 km radius of the Dragon Palace. Anyone found violating this rule will be subject to military action, which is death.” Aditya nodded his head in satisfaction. This was a very important event. ”Big brother, I am very excited. I canʼt wait to see just how much our little home will change?” Little Clara was very excited. Feeling his little sisterʼs enthusiasm, Aditya patted her head. ”Your little home is about to become as big as a small town.” Aditya did not know just how much the Dragon Palace would change, but he was definitely sure that the size of the Dragon Palace would increase. The Dragon Palace was already 1000 meters in size. ”I hope I can have my own garden.” The garden that Riya had was very tiny. The limited space stopped her from growing many things. Whatever she could grow was very limited. In fact, the little garden space that had was shared between her and Julia. Julia liked to grow rare herbs but Riya wanted to grow fruit and flower plants. ”Let us waste no time.” Following Aditya, all the members of the Royal Family left the Dragon Palace. 『To upgrade the Dragon Palace to level 2, the host must gather the following materials while also completing some requirements.』

1. 100 tons of gold [100/100] [Done] 2. 100 tons of refined iron [100/100] [Done]

3. Increase the number of Dragonians to 50,000 [50,000/50,000] [Done]

4. Increase the number of Dragon Warriors to 5,000 [10,000/5,000] [Done]

5. Find the Tree of Blood [1/1] [Done] 6. 10 tons of Mana Crystals [10/10] [Done]』

『Ding! The system has detected that the Host fulfilled all the six requirements to upgrade the Dragon Palace.』

『Ding! Do you wish to upgrade the Dragon Palace to level 2?』

At this moment, everyone curiously stood outside of the Dragon Palace. Only Aditya was inside the Dragon Palace. He was sitting on his throne. At first, Aditya wanted to do this in front of everyone, but he wasnʼt ready to reveal the system to anyone. So it was better for him to be alone. Aditya took a deep breath and then nodded. ”Yes!!!”

『Ding! Initiating upgrade of the Dragon Palace.....!! 1%...!』

『Ding! 5%.....9%....19%....!』

『Ding! The system has detected that the Host has fragments of the World Treasure. The Fragments of the World Treasure can be used to enhance the properties of the Dragon Palace. Does the Host wish to use the World Treasure?』

Hearing this, Aditya was surprised. ʼI had planned to use the World Treasure to make a set of 5-star artifacts.ʼ There are two reasons why he did not mess with the fragments of the World Treasure. First, Aditya was busy with other things. Second, he wanted to first become a 5-star runemaster before working on the World Treasure. Being a 5-star runemaster would eliminate the chances of him failing to make a 5-star artifact. ʼBut now, I feel using this artifact to enhance the properties of the Dragon Palace might be a better choice.ʼ Aditya trusted the systemʼs capabilities. Although it was regretful that he would need to part with the fragments of the World Treasure, it was for the sake of the greater good. ”Yes.....!!”

『Ding! The system has gained authorization to use the Fragments of the World Treasure.』

『Ding! The system will now add the Fragments of the World Treasure to enhance the properties of the Dragon Palace.』

Meanwhile, others noticed that nothing had happened till now. Everything still remained the same. 『Ding!! 48%.....49%....50%!』

Boooom...!!!!

Suddenly, a bright flash of light enveloped the entire Dragon Palace. The light was so strong that it looked like a second sun had appeared. Other than Riya, Amelia, Lilith, and Sasha, everyone else was forced to shut their eyes. 『Ding! The system has detected that the host has some Anti-Gravity Crystals.』

『Ding! The System has detected that by using the Anti-Gravity Crystals, the properties of the Dragon Palace can be enhanced even further. Does the Host wish to use the Anti-Gravity Crystals?』

Aditya was once again stunned. He had collected these anti-gravity crystals when he entered the small world. Since he had to go through a series of illusions, Aditya thought that whatever he had collected in that world didnʼt exist. Who would have thought that all this time, the Anti-Gravity Crystals had been sitting in his storage ring without being discovered by him? ʼThis may be a good thing, I guess.ʼ Aditya thought to himself. ʼMaybe using the Anti-Gravity Crystals, the Dragon Palace will be able to float like those floating islands that I saw in that small world.ʼ Aditya felt his heart bleed because he was forced to make a difficult decision again. The Fragments of the World Treasure and the Anti-Gravity Crystals were extremely rare possessions of Aditya. No amount of gold coins could give him these two things. ʼBut the Dragon Palace is my home. My home must be the safest place in the whole world.ʼ With that, Aditya somehow comforted his heart. ”Yes.....!!” But this simple ʼYesʼ felt extremely difficult to say. 『Ding! The system has gained authorization to use the Anti-Gravity Crystals.』

『Ding! The system will now add the Anti-Gravity Crystals to enhance the properties of the Dragon Palace.』

Unlike the first time, this time, the system was taking a lot of time. Without even realizing it, more than 10 minutes passed. 『Ding! 74%...75%...!』

Another 20 minutes later, the process finally reached 100%.

『Ding! 99%...100%...!』

『Ding! Congratulations.... 』
