Chapter 722:- Supreme Commander [II]

Click!

Two guards opened the doors of the meeting room. As she stood at the entrance, the bright golden light coming from her body brightened the whole room. The light was so intense that everyone was forced to close their eyes.

Click-click-click!

The rhythmic sound of high hills made everyone open their eyes and look at the person who entered the meeting room.

The Prime Minister of the Echo Dominion Empire personally brought out a chair from his storage ring and placed it in front of the Rulers for her to sit.

While she slowly sat down and looked at others, no one uttered a single word.

”Greetings…..!! I am the Goddess of Light. You all can me, Luna.” Luna said with a gentle smile on her face.

”Does anyone have any objection to Lady Luna becoming the Supreme Commander?” Daxton stood up and asked everyone in the room.

”I donʼt have any objection.” Ren, the King of The Thera Kingdom, replied.

The Rulers of the Storm Isle Dynasty and the Hephaestus Kingdom also had no objection. Both of them were also shaking their heads.

”All right, then itʼs decided.”

”From this moment onwards, I declare Lady Luna to be our Supreme Comman....wait a minute…..!!” Daxtonʼs eyes became cold when he was interrupted. He coldly stared at the person who dared to interrupt him at such a time.

The Rulers of other nations also coldly looked at Commander Anders. How dare a mere Commander interrupt the Emperor? Everyone was furious. Even Anderʼs own King, King Ren, was looking at Anders with hostility.

”Anders, I donʼt care what you want to say.”

”Apologize to everyone in this room.” Ren, commander Anders. Hearing this, Anders felt betrayed. These words were coming from his own King. These words were spoken by the very same person who was the former Commander of the Thera Kingdom before becoming the King.

At the same time, Anders felt anger building in his heart. From the time beginning, he has been trying to talk to his King and has been trying to change his mind but nothing seems to work. He finally had enough of his nonsense.

ʼIt wouldʼve been much better if I had gone to the Istarin Empire.ʼ Anders thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Luna curiously stared at Anders. She was interested in knowing what this young fellow had to say.

”What do you wish to say?” Luna asked Anders.

”I want to say that youʼre not even worthy of stepping in this room.” Anders did not hide his dislike towards Luna.

Luna did not lose her calm; instead, she became even more interested in this young fellow. ”Oh….!! What makes you say this?”

”First of all, who are you?” Anders asked Luna while frowning.

Luna did not like that question. She stopped smiling.

Meanwhile, other Rulers were starting to become more and more angry at Anders. Before, there was some chance that Anders might have been spared, but now, after the words that he said to their Goddess Luna, no one was going to save him. Everyone wanted to see him dead.

”Youʼre a nobody here. I donʼt know what sorcery you have used to get yourself highly praised by the Emperor, but I donʼt approve of you as the Supreme Commander.”

”And Goddess of Light….!! Never heard of anyone with that title.”

”The only Goddesses that I know are the 7 Goddesses. Youʼre nothing but a Fake.” Hearing this, Lunaʼs eyes became very cold and sharp. She was barely able to control her killing intent. Her whole body was shaking from his words. Without even knowing, Anders had angered her.

”Youʼre nothing but a...!!

Bang....!!!!

No one knew what happened, but they all heard a loud sound. The next second, Commander Andersʼs head was rolling on the ground. And the rest of his body slowly fell backward.

”Does anyone have anything else to say?” Luna asked in a cold tone.

No one said anything. The whole room fell into deep silence.

Seeing this, Luna coldly snorted and then sat down while crossing her legs.

Hmph!!!

”Bunch of Losers!”

She did not care if others heard what she said in a low tone. She was very annoyed, right?

ʼMaybe I should have tortured him before killing him.ʼ Luna was beginning to regret her decision to kill Commander Anders. She had acted impulsively. Maybe she had let him live, then she would have felt more content seeing him suffer and beg for mercy. ʼWhatever! I can always find another target.ʼ Luna looked at everyone in the room. ”Listen here, I am the one who will be making all the decisions here. And all of your job is to follow them without questioning my decisions. If I see any hesitation on your faces or hear any questions being asked about my leadership, then I will not hesitate to end that personʼs life.”

Right now, Luna does not care about maintaining her image as a gentle, kind, and caring Goddess. Since she had put everyone in this room in her control there was no need to pretend anymore. Even if she orders Daxton to kill his own son or if she orders Ren to kill his own wife, they wonʼt hesitate anymore. ”Now any questions.” Silence....!!!

No one said anything.

Seeing this, Luna had a satisfied smile on her face. ”Alright, this meeting is now over. I will inform each of you about your roles in the upcoming war.” Saying that she walked out of the room. ʼI need to have a meeting with him. Everything is moving smoothly. Itʼs time for the final phase of the plan to begin.ʼ ʼI will defeat the Goddess of Nature, The Goddess of Lust, the Goddess of Alchemy, and the Goddess of Wealth.ʼ Just thinking of defeating 4 Goddesses made Luna smirk. Her heart was beating in excitement.

ʼAfter defeating the Istarin Empire, I will be one step closer to fulfilling my dream. Then, I will just need to do one more thing to achieve my goal.ʼ Not even her mysterious Partner knew what she was going to do after defeating the Istarin Empire. She hasnʼt told anyone about this yet. ʼAnd then no one will deny my status as a Goddess.ʼ ʼI will be Victorious.ʼ

Scene Change_______

At the same time, the night Adam, Sophia, and Zak moved to live in the Dragon Palace, they all had another meeting. This time, it was Aditya, Adam, Spencer, and Watson.

As for the girls, they had gathered in Juliaʼs laboratory. Spencerʼs wife, Aria, also joined the others. The only one missing from the group would be Amber. General Amber was leading the Istarn Troops to conquer the Thera Kingdom. It might take a while before she returns back to the Dragon Palace. ”The Ethereal Empire, the Deep Sea Palace, and the Celestial Terrain havenʼt betrayed us,” Watson informed Adam. ”The Empress of the Deep Sea Palace has personally written a letter. In the letter, she stated that she had no idea about this whole situation. Right now if she wasnʼt busy making some important reforms in her Empire, she personally would have visited Aditya to know more about the whole situation.” She also asked Aditya if she needed the troops of the Deep Sea Palace in this war, but Aditya declined her offer. ”Our opponents are the Hephaestus Kingdom, the Echo Dominion Empire, The Thera Kingdom, and the Storm Isle Dynasty.” Hearing this, Adam nodded his head. ”Lady Aliciaʼs father personally came to explain the Eternal Empireʼs stance in this situation. He has made it clear that no matter what happens, the Ethereal Empire will stand with the Istarin Empire.” ”As for the Celestial Terrain, their stance in this situation is also clear. They are standing with us.” ”So the main problem that the Istarin Empire is facing is the Voidfigures?” Adam asked after having a general idea of the whole situation. ”Yes.....!!!” Spencer nodded his head. ”Tomorrow, the final battle will be fought.” Aditya had a feeling that tomorrow would be the last and final day of this whole mess. As the meeting started to wind down, Adam looked at Spencer before looking at Watson. ”Now that Spencer has gotten married, when are you going to get married, Watson?” ”Not this again.....!!!” Watson already looked exhausted just being asked this question. ”What...!!?” Adam fiercely looked at Watson and continued. ”Your twin brother Walter has long formed his own family. At this rate, even his son might get married before you.” Sigh.....!!

Watson sighed before looking at Aditya for some help. But Aditya pretended to not notice Watsonʼs pleading look. He instead shifted his attention to pouring himself a glass of freshly made dragonfruit juice. When Watson turned to Spencer, he also awkwardly shifted his attention to the papers that he was holding. ”After this mess is over, we are going to have a long talk - just the two of us.” Watson silently nodded his head. Watson noticed from the distance Walter was trying to listen to their conversation while pretending to cut fruits. ”I will get something for us to get.” Saying that, Watson excused himself. Aditya then turned to Adam. ”I have already tried to convince Watson, but he isnʼt ready. I donʼt think it would be right for us to force him to get married. Besides, as cultivators, we have all the time in the world to get married.” Hearing this, Adam also nodded his head. ”Alright, I will go easy on him.” Aditya nodded with a grateful look.
