Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Spending the next few days getting Lu Dongli settled down and helping her through the Qi Condensation Realm, Xuan Hao also took the opportunity to teach Li Chi alongside his newest disciple. Even if the youth from the half spirit race had already reached the Core Formation Realm, there was still much he could gain from learning about qi circulation and usage from someone like himself who had already reached the Land Creation Realm. Using this knowledge to more easily absorb spiritual qi and guide it into his dantian where his core was located, while also using it to more easily use different spells and techniques that required spiritual qi.

In fact, not just Li Chi, but Qing Yi and Chun Hua, who decided to stay around and get to know this new junior sister and brother also managed to gain significantly from listening on his lesson on the Qi Condensation Realm.

By the time he decided to leave Lu Dongli to explore the sect on her own, she had already managed to grow close with the other three and even managed to get acquainted with Bai Ning who visited towards the end because he needed to get something from his room.

The only ones among his disciples that Lu Dongli hadn’t had the opportunity to get acquainted with being Mui and Chu Yang, who were busy with their owns things and hadn’t returned to the small palace.

Speaking of disciples, he had also kept an eye on the situation regarding He Jie and found out that he was currently being held by Elder Song who had become immensely interested in the body cultivation path like he had expected him to become.

If things continued, it wouldn’t be long before Elder Song came to him asking about this body cultivation path. At which point he planned to take the opportunity to share his knowledge on the body cultivation path that he had managed to obtain from the ancient secret realm with him.

Although… Considering that he saw no reason to delay sharing this information with the rest of the sect, he had already placed it inside the grand library of the sect, and a few disciples had already begun learning about the body cultivation path. The reason Elder Song hadn’t realized this mainly being thanks to him having his attention split between He Jie and the troublesome matter that was the spy issue that the sect found itself facing.

With time, even without finding him, Elder Song would notice that some of the disciples had already begun following this body cultivation path that He Jie was following and with little effort, he would be able to track down where they had learnt about it and where the information had come from.

As for taking on He Jie as his eighth disciple, he was originally planning to do so immediately after he finished getting Lu Dongli settled into the sect but found out that waiting for a bit longer might be for the best.

Not because he had anything against taking a somewhat older disciple, but instead because he had noticed that Elder Song seemed to be enjoying his time talking with this older man from the ancient secret realm and he had no intention of stepping in to disturb the two of them. Especially so given how He Jie himself also seemed to be enjoying his time together with Elder Song and took full advantage of his situation to cultivate within the sect.

During the short few days, he had taken to teach Lu Dongli and a few of his other disciples, he had somehow also managed to befriend several other elders belonging to the sect’s management thanks to all of them feeling curious about the unique body cultivation path he was following.

After all, most of the sect’s management elders were those with less talent who found themselves unable to progress as fast as others.

Faced with a brand-new cultivation path that might potentially give them another chance to advance was understandably something that made all of them excited and eager to befriend He Jie to learn more about this unique cultivation path.

In fact, though some disciples had already learnt about the body cultivation path through the grand library, their progress on the body cultivation path was still inferior to that of some of the management elders who had learnt about the body cultivation path from He Jie.

Among them, there was even one who showed exceptional talent and managed to reach the Martial Arts Master Realm equivalent to the Peak of the Qi Condensation Realm within these few days.

With everything he needed to handle essentially finished for now outside of the illusion formation that had fallen onto the Formation Hall and the elders there, Xuan Hao found himself returning to his cultivation chambers where he sunk into a state of cultivation. Focusing on comprehending the Dao while at the same time also trying to think about potential locations where he could find heavenly and earthly treasures that would be able to push his cultivation towards the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Problem was, outside of the Southern Central Region of the continent that should hide these heavenly and earthly treasures given the existence of cultivators beyond the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm within the Southern Central Region, he had no clue where else he could get his hand on these kinds of precious cultivation resources.

Well… There was the system, but he hadn’t exactly managed to get another quest since the last one that gave him the treasure that allowed him to reach the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Or that was what he thought until he remembered the ascension realm tower.

Although he didn’t remember seeing any such treasure available during his time within the tower, he understood that it might have been because he hadn’t been looking for them or simply hadn’t recognized them as his focus had been on the different secret realms that were sold through the shop of the ascension realm tower.

Along with the fact that his strength had increased significantly compared to before now that he had broken through to the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm and successfully formed an internal world inside his dantian, he felt like it might be a good idea for him to pay the ascension realm tower another visit to see how far he would be able to make it with his current strength.

At the same time, he also wanted to use the opportunity to see if he could find heavenly and earthly treasures on the floors themselves and avoid having to potentially purchase them through the shop with ascension coins.

If it was possible for him to find these unique cultivation resources on the floors of the tower, he would essentially have an easy path to reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm and potentially even the Peak of the Land Creation Realm… And more importantly, if the ascension realm tower could really produce these unique treasures formed by the world over a long time, it would also give the rest of the sect a clear path through the Land Creation Realm in the future.

Just thinking about this kind of possibility filled him with excitement and only a few minutes after the thought emerged, Xuan Hao found himself at the entrance to the ascension realm tower. Not bothering to linger around outside as he directly made his way to the shop located on the ground floor of the tower to see if there were any heavenly and earthly treasures present within.

”Nothing…”

Unfortunately, after looking through the shop, he didn’t find what he was looking for.

Still, he didn’t give up yet and made his way to the twentieth floor where the cloud plaza in the sky above the resting spot on the tenth floor was located.

Unsurprisingly, there wasn’t anyone around on the twentieth floor, as one would need strength at the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm or Celestial Immortal Realm to reach this floor.

But, looking around the place, he still found the place different- or more specially, the things sold throughout the cloud plaza had changed from the last time he had visited the place. Different from the shop on the ground floor that didn’t seem to change.

As for the heavenly or earthly treasures that he had come looking for? He found none of them present throughout the countless small shops scattered all over the cloud plaza.

However, knowing that the things sold at the cloud plaza changed, he didn’t believe something like a heavenly treasure or an earthly treasure wouldn’t emerge in the future.

Though… A clear problem in case one such cultivation resource did emerge in the future was the fact that he didn’t exactly have that many ascension coins on him following his past purchase of the ascension secret realm.

So… No matter what, he would have to continue making his way up the ascension realm tower even if such a precious cultivation resource had truly appeared within the cloud plaza…
