Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Focused on feeling the spiritual qi flowing through her meridians for the first time outside the illusion, she didn’t notice someone observing her from outside the second she broke through to the First Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm and stepped onto the path of cultivation and officially became a cultivator like her father, mother and brother had all managed to successfully do ahead of her.

The person in question wasn’t Xuan Hao, but instead a spy that had been planted by the major family that had been blamed for being behind Lu Dongli’s unfortunate timing for entering a deep sleep that was impossible to wake her up from.

After all, as the ones being blamed for the entire situation, it was obvious that they would grow suspicious and strive to find out the truth about the entire situation. Sending someone to try and see if they could get an idea about what had happened by observing the victim in question.

”Looks like that girl does have the ability to cultivate, but then why hasn’t she ever attempted to cultivate before today? Perhaps something was wrong beforehand that made cultivation impossible or maybe her physique is somewhat special and prevented cultivation earlier.

But with that in mind, her earlier state of being unable to wake up might have had something to do with this special physique awakening and granting her the ability to cultivate normally- no… Normally wouldn’t be accurate, as no one should be able to successfully step into the Qi Condensation Realm that fast…”

Almost unable to believe what he was seeing as he watched how Lu Dongli managed to not just successfully step into the Qi Condensation Realm but also began making clear progress towards the Second Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm, this spy knew that he had managed to stumble upon a piece of important information.

After all, the clear level of talent displayed by Lu Dongli as she seamlessly broke through to the Qi Condensation Realm before making significant strides towards the Second Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm and was bound to reach it before the night came to an end, given her current rapid progress, was immensely valuable.

Not only because this kind of information could be used by the family behind him, but also because finding talent like this would earn him and the family behind him a way out of the current bad situation, they had found themselves in by informing the royal family about the existence of this talented child of the Lu Family.

This way, they would not just be able to establish a connection with the royal family but would also be able to potentially get rid of a Core Formation Realm Family in the process. Knowing full well that there was little chance that the royal family would allow this kind of terrifying talent to grow up, as they would pose a significant threat to the royal family in the future.

As for why this kind of information was precious in the first place, it mainly had to do with the existence of the Star Shattering Sect, as any sensible family head would realize the situation they found themselves in and sent this talented child to the Star Shattering Sect to not just give them a better opportunity to grow, but also protect them from anyone who might want to kill this young talent off before it had the time to grow.

After all, no matter what the royal family of a small kingdom wanted to do to ensure that they kept their power, they had no way to retaliate against someone once they became a disciple of the Star Shattering Sect, as the death of a disciple would bring the direct attention of this local behemoth. Not to mention how difficult killing a disciple of the Star Shattering Sect was in the first place with the existence of elders secretly guarding them whenever they left the sect.

Before any of this happened, it was far smarter to kill the young talent before they had the chance to obtain the backing of such a massive power, as even touching their relatives became impossible without considering potential future consequences by doing something like that.

At the end of the day, even if this young talent didn’t accomplish much and only reached the Core Formation Realm in the future, there was always the consideration that being a disciple of such a major power meant they would have had the chance to interact with and potentially befriend other disciples at the Nascent Soul Realm or beyond. Able to ask for these figures to help in case something happens that they can’t deal with on their own.

Rustle~

Because of this, after confirming that the young lady of the Lu Family truly was a talent beyond anything he had ever encountered throughout his life as a spy. Even making the famed second prince who could be considered the royal family’s hope for being the next Nascent Soul Realm Ancestor look like a common talent. The spy wasted no time in leaving the Lu Family Clan Estate.

Knowing that getting back and having those behind him decide on what to do was the most important. Finding out more about the young lady of the Lu Family Clan could be left for others to find out about, as there was no doubt in his mind that when the rest of the Lu Family found out about this young lady’s talent, the first thing they would do was send her off to join the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, there had already been one such talent not too long ago who became a disciple of the Star Shattering Sect before his family that had long since declined rose to prominence within the small kingdom once again.

Even with only one single person at the Foundation Establishment Realm, this small family that had been ignored in the past had thus risen to a level above even that of the Core Formation Realm Families within the small kingdom. Even making the royal family careful of not accidentally offending them.
