Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Feeling the terrifying power of the casually released blade energy about to reach him, Xuan Hao didn’t panic as he avoided the incoming attack with relative ease relying on the Drifting Cloud Steps before reemerging a short distance away from the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator behind the blade energy-

”Wha-!?”

Catching him by complete surprise, as he had not yet realized that he was dealing with someone proficient in the Dao of Space. In fact, the rest of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators present were similarly clueless. Not having paid any real attention to him when he appeared, as they were still busy dealing with their own battles.

But... It was already far too late to react for the Celestial Immortal who now found himself face to face with Xuan Hao-

Swish~ Ptsh-!

As he didn’t even have the chance to put up a proper defense before a terrifying sword intent swept out. Piercing his defenses in an instant, cutting him in half before the sword intent ravaged through what remained of his body. Destroying it. Leaving only his soul to barely escape. Avoiding death.

The single attack far surpassed what someone in the Dao Seed Realm should realistically be able to accomplish and was only possible due to Xuan Hao’s Perfection Realm comprehension of the Dao of the Sword. In fact, even though the entire thing seemed to be a simple attack on the surface, it was far more complex and relied on the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator not taking him seriously.

If the other party had been more cautious when facing him, it would have been difficult for him to pierce through the defense of a Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator with his current strength, though his high comprehension helped him somewhat close the gap in strength, it would still be impossible to simply force his way through the group of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators.

Not to mention, he still remembered that his goal was to teach his disciple how to fight a stronger opponent.

With that in mind, the first defeated Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator could be considered showing his disciple to take advantage of someone underestimating your strength to land a deadly blow while they were unprepared.

”Huh? The physical body was destroyed...?”

”This... Is this person really someone in the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm)...?”

”The Dao of the Sword... Such a profound realm of comprehension...”

At same time the physical body of the arrogant Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator was destroyed and his soul fled from the ancient alchemy sect ruins before the loss of a physical body ended up being a permanent death, the rest of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators present froze in the middle of their battles. All their attention turning towards Xuan Hao filled with shock at what had just happened.

The shock soon becoming caution, as they had already realized that this seemingly harmless person was far more dangerous than they had first believed. The terrifying comprehension of the Dao of Sword and the Dao of Space making it clear to them that they couldn’t ignore this person even if his cultivation realm was far below their own, a clear example of what would happen if they did was already before them.

Of course, this didn’t mean that they were fearful of Xuan Hao and intended to give up on the treasury below.

After all, even if Xuan Hao had been able to destroy the physical body of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, it wasn’t something hard to accomplish with their strength.

The main reason why he had succeeded while they hadn’t had to do with their opponents taking them seriously and properly defending themselves, something that the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator Xuan Hao faced hadn’t managed to do.

Outside of that, there was also the surprise from the Dao of Space that had allowed him to close the distance before the other party had time to rectify his mistake and put up a proper defense.

Now that they were clear about this and understood that Xuan Hao wasn’t just someone easy to deal with, there was no way they would lower their guard in front of him and present another such perfect opportunity for him to strike.

The problem was, they were still far from understanding how strong Xuan Hao was and if he had anything else on hand that might catch them by surprise... And so, even though they all wanted to test out the situation personally to try and learn more about how strong he was in a normal battle, none of them wanted to be the first to step forward. Not just because they were cautious of Xuan Hao himself, but also because stepping forward to be the first to test out Xuan Hao would leave them open to an ambush from behind.

”””...”””

Because of this, even after a few seconds had passed, none of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators made a move. Only keeping their attention focused on him without saying anything.

As for Xuan Hao’s identity? They didn’t think much of it and believed that he should just be a wandering cultivator who had managed to find an opportunity that had not only allowed him to comprehend the Dao of Space, but also elevate his Dao of the Sword to a terrifying realm far beyond what someone in the Dao Seed Realm should be capable of reaching under normal circumstances.

In fact, if Xuan Hao turned out to not be a wandering cultivator in this kind of circumstance, they might be more surprised.

All for the simple reason that they couldn’t imagine any major power that would be willing to allow this kind of terrifying junior to wander around on his own before breaking through to the Celestial Immortal Realm or maybe far more likely, the Profound Immortal Realm.

Only a wandering cultivator would have to still actively search for cultivation resources if they wanted to continue progressing.

After all, even if they had the ability to seclude themselves and cultivate without spirit stones or other similar cultivation resources, they would still have to go out into the world in search of information on higher cultivation realms. Especially so when it came to the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Profound Immortal Realm, as information on those two realms were extremely difficult for a wandering cultivator to get their hands on.

Essentially, the only way for a wandering cultivator to get their hands on information related to the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Profound Immortal Realm, was by joining a major power or by finding it in an ancient ruin- like the ancient alchemy sect ruins.

Everything lined up perfectly, thus, the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators assumed Xuan Hao to be a wandering cultivator who was likely searching for information on the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Profound Immortal Realm...

Feeling the divine sense of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator patiently examining him while they kept their distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit troubled. Knowing that he would have to be the one to make the first move, as this group was clearly unwilling to be the first to clash with him after what they had just witnessed.

Whoosh~

With that in mind, Xuan Hao decided to first take the opportunity to get a better look of the group of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators to determine who would be his next opponent.

Narrowing his eyes as his attention focused almost entirely on the two injured Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, Xuan Hao had already silently decided on his next target.

This time around, he would be teaching his disciple how to take advantage of an injured opponent even when they were stronger than yourself.

...

At the same time Xuan Hao’s gaze focused on one of the two injured Celestial Immortal realm cultivators, the person in question began silently panicking as he realized that he had ended up becoming the next target of this unnaturally powerful Dao Seed Realm cultivator.

Unknown to him and the rest of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators present, although Xuan Hao mostly had his strength restricted to the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm, his divine sense wasn’t limited by much outside of its ability to suppress others by relying on the strength of his soul. Allowing him to easily see through the carefully hidden injuries of the two Early Stage Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators.
