Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Barely having any strength left after being knocked aside by the dao domain, the Dao Seed Realm cultivator didn’t have the time to check her injuries as she looked up towards Xuan Hao who had his full attention focused on the group of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators fighting in the distance.

”C-Celestial Immortal!? No... Not a Celestial Immortal, but something... Different...?” Filled with genuine shock as she felt the terrifying presence surrounding Xuan Hao, she was left in a state of confusion, as she could confirm that the strength of the person who had knocked her aside had reached the celestial Immortal Realm, but at the same time, she also felt that the terrifying presence around him far surpassed that of the ancestor she had seen before entering the ancient alchemy sect ruins. Making her feel that the person wasn’t in the Celestial Immortal Realm but instead surpassed it.

Shivering at the thought, she couldn’t help silently praying she was wrong. Knowing from the way he was looking towards the battle in the distance, that he would soon be joining her ancestor and the rest in their battle for the recently unearthed treasury.

Although she didn’t personally know her ancestor and had only seen him for the first time in her life today, she understood his importance and how bad things would get if something happened to him.

Swish~

”Ancestor... Please don’t do anything stupid...” Seeing Xuan Hao jumping into the air in the direction of the battle in the distance while still not having moved from where she landed after being knocked aside earlier, a small yet sincere formed a prayer for her ancestor. Not hoping for him to be victorious in the battle for treasury, but instead one that hoped he would keep himself safe.

An understandable prayer considering whatever the ancestor was fighting for would never benefit anyone other than the ancestor himself. Instead of that, staying safe was far more important than him becoming stronger to someone like her-

Whoosh~

Of course, that didn’t mean she wouldn’t warn her ancestor, as she still dutifully pulled out a communication talisman before igniting it to inform her ancestor about what had happened and her own suspension regarding her feelings of his strength, potentially surpassing the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Even if it was merely a suspension on her end, she felt that it would be for the best to inform her ancestor so he would be more cautious in case he ended up in a battle with that person.

...

”Huh? Wha-”

Bang!

Receiving the message, the ancestor of the defeated Dao Seed Realm cultivator was distracted for a short time. Allowing his opponent to break through his defense and knock him away from the farther away from the treasury. Essentially leaving him the furthest away with the lowest chance of being the one to reach the treasury first now.

”Not paying attention in the middle of combat? Hahaha! How dumb! Don’t forget I’m your opponent!”

”Hmph! You-!” Hearing the taunting words that came only a short time after, the ancestor felt his anger reaching the boiling point as he silently vowed to deal with whoever it was that sent him that message just now if it wasn’t something truly important. After all, to ensure that he wouldn’t get distracted during battle, he had closed off his communication talisman to everyone but an except few people back home and those inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins with him... And both sides knew not to contact him unless it was truly something important that couldn’t wait.

Feeling a clear sense of unease as he finished going over the emergency message that had been sent to him, the ancestor no longer felt the anger he had felt only a second ago.

Another Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator showing up was important enough for a junior to interrupt his battle.

Not to mention, with another Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator joining the battle, the stalemate that had been created with them slowly closing in on the treasury that had been unearthed by accident when the wandering cultivator from earlier has passed through and snatched up the Saint Grade Elixir they had been fighting for, would be broken.

However, just to be sure, he decided to keep his distance for now and allow the rest to test this new Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator.

Just in case that person turned out to be someone who had surpassed the Celestial Immortal Realm...

Nodding to himself as he felt that this was the correct action to take, he rapidly backed off from the center of the battle without a hint of hesitation.

Odd as this might be to the rest of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators locked in battle with each other, it wasn’t too strange considering how he had essentially been knocked all the way to the back and stood little to no chance reaching the treasury first now.

In a way, they viewed it as him retreating to potentially set up an ambush for the one who managed to get their hands of the treasures hidden inside the treasury.

Though a successful ambush would be difficult to accomplish under the current circumstances, it presented a far greater chance than continuing to struggle in last place-

BOOOM!

And so, after only a slight pause, the battle resumed with the one in the lead being overtaken by one just behind her. The other party, having taken advantage of the slight pause to launch a sneak attack and take the leading position.

...

Thump~

Landing a short distance away from the battle just far enough that the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators wouldn’t pick up on his presence, Xuan Hao glanced back in the direction of the concealment formation that only he could see. Feeling the presence of his disciple and his friends as they were all intently watching him from afar through the assistance of a small-scale observation formation that the one of formation masters had thrown together to watch the battle from afar.

Normally, it would be difficult to do something like this, but the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators didn’t really have the time or energy to care about someone watching their battle from a distance. Especially given that they could clearly feel the strength of those watching were far below themselves.

Even more so considering Chu Yang and his group weren’t the only ones observing the battle, as most of the Dao Seed Realm cultivators from the different major powers were doing the same.

They might still be locked in battle, but it was hardly serious and had devolved into a harmless exchange that only looked flashy on the surface but carried no actual power.

To these Dao Seed Realm cultivators, an opportunity to watch this kind of battle was worth far more than their current battles, causing a silent truce between most of the Dao Seed Realm cultivators present.

With that in mind, it was hardly worth it for the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators to use their strength to get rid of prying eyes. Another few joining in? They couldn’t care less. Allowing Chu Yang and the rest to observe without worries...

Whoosh-!

Having made sure that his disciple was watching so he could officially begin the quest by beating up these Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, Xuan Hao didn’t linger around the edge of the battle any longer and directly used the Drifting Cloud Steps to arrive directly above the chaotic battle. His gaze penetrating the chaotic battlefield as he looked straight down towards the treasury that the group of Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators were fighting for.

Sensing something off about this treasury that had been accidentally unearthed, his peaceful investigation was interrupted as he soon felt several powerful divine senses sweeping towards him from below filled with killing intent upon realizing that a new contender might have appeared.

”Hmph! Just a brat at the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) yet daring to eye the treasury!? DIE!”

Rumble~!

Hearing a rather arrogant and condescending voice echoing out below him the next second before seeing crescent shaped blade energy sweeping up towards him, Xuan Hao could not help smiling in the face of the incoming attack without the slightest hint of fear in the face of the blade energy sweeping up towards him.

He was just wondering who among the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators to attack first when one of them decided to step forward and become the first to aid him in teaching his disciple...
