Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Continuing his comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy while making full use of the new information that had essentially been stuffed inside his head by the system, Xuan Hao’s understanding of the Dao of Alchemy reached a level that was above that of even his Dao of Blacksmithing.

Though he had the guidance of someone in the Saint Realm when it came to blacksmithing, his overall knowledge of blacksmithing was lacking behind by a lot when compared to his current knowledge of alchemy. Having already reached a point where Xuan Hao had a feeling that it would be faster for him to reach the Saint Realm with alchemy, even if he didn’t have any guide towards the Saint Realm like he did when it came to blacksmithing.

In the end, as Xuan Hao remained fully focused on the Dao of Alchemy and showed no signs of stopping his comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy even after the assistance from the system had come to a stop, time inside the cultivation room quickly began to fly by rapidly, as his comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy got closer and closer to the Realm of Perfection.

Only a little over a month since he had closed himself off to the outside world to focus on comprehending the Dao of Alchemy in peace, did he finally open his eyes again.

Not because he sensed any problems in the sect or that he had been informed by his disciples about something happening to them. Instead, it was simply because he felt his progress in the Dao of Alchemy hitting a bottleneck… And this bottleneck was by far the most difficult one he had encountered so far. Not making it difficult for him to guess that he should have already reached the Peak of the Large Success Realm and the bottleneck in question should be the one separating him from the Perfection Realm.

Though it was just a single bottleneck blocking him from reaching the Perfection Realm, he understood full well that even with his current solid foundation in alchemy that had come from the help of the system, he would need to at least spend ten years or longer to break through that bottleneck.

After all, it was not just about reaching the Perfection Realm but was also about him breaking through to the Saint Realm, something that had bared countless talented cultivators from advancing in the past.

In a sense, advancing from the Grandmaster Realm could be considered far harder than advancing to the Dao Seed Realm… And from the information he had managed to gather on the different major powers on the continent so far, Saint Realm Experts seemed to be even harder to find than Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators.

Even a large empire like the Blue Sea Empire that outwardly had at least five people in the Celestial Immortal Realm, only had three people in the Saint Realm.

Not to mention, the Blue Sea Empire could be considered lucky even with so few in the Saint Realm, as some other similar sized powers only seemed to have a single person in the Saint Realm outwardly.

With that in mind, not to mention the Dao Seed Realm, it might even be harder to reach the Saint Realm than the Celestial Immortal Realm…

Smiling a bit wryly to himself as he thought about just how difficult it was going to be for him to reach the Saint Realm in the future, Xuan Hao shook his head slightly before he decided to turn his attention towards his own status to check out the improvements he had experienced during that past month. Part of him feeling hopeful that the status would include the description of the different minor realms in the Grandmaster Realm this time around. After all, he had only recently come upon this information while he was looking for a way to improve his comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy so as to not be left behind by his own disciple.

At least from what he knew, the system sometimes seemed to update information when he learnt something new that wasn’t included in the system beforehand.

Hopefully, the new information on the Grandmaster Realm will be included this time around, as it should save him from having to panic and run around searching for an opportunity to reach the Pseudo Saint Realm in alchemy.

After all, he highly doubted he would end up encountering another situation similar to the one he had experienced at the Blue Shore Kingdom…

On the not so bright side of things, it looked like the level of his blacksmithing had been reduced down to the Senior Grandmaster Realm. Now only displaying the Pseudo Saint Realm on the side. Making him feel that the next sect quest he had to focus on would be the blacksmithing one, while the formation one wasn’t that much of a worry at the moment, as none of his disciples practiced-

Wait! If I take on that girl from the Formation Hall, won’t I have to worry about improving my formations as well in the near future!?

Suddenly realizing that he might not just have to improve his blacksmithing and alchemy in the future, Xuan Hao could not help feeling that the system was setting him up for a difficult life with no rest in the future.

Shaking his head at these troublesome thoughts, Xuan Hao instead focused his attention on a rather interesting thing that seemed to have taken place during the month-long secluded cultivation he had engaged in, both of his demon beast pets had broken through.

The fearsome winged lion demon beast had managed to reach the Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, while the rabbit demon beast had managed to reach the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm. Only needing to take on one more tribulation before it could break through to the Dao Seed Realm.

Although, he was a bit puzzled over the rapid improvements in strength from his two demon beasts, as it was a well-known fact that demon beasts grew at a far slower pace compared to humans, something they made up for with their far longer lifespans compared to humans who generally lived far shorter than demon beasts of equal strength.

Hm… The rabbit demon beast’s rapid improvement might have something to do with the top-grade spirit stones I provided it with. The winged lion demon beast on the other hand… I have no idea how it managed to improve its strength so fast…

Narrowing both of his eyes as he thought about the winged lion demon beast, Xuan Hao could not help remembering how it had just eaten the terrifying demonic cultivator that had landed in front of it without a second thought or even wondering if it would be something dangerous to eat in the first place.

For some unknown reason, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit worried about the winged lion demon beast. Fearing that it might have ended up eating something strange again that had caused its strength to skyrocket. Allowing it to jump to minor realms in a single go.

Whoosh-!

Without a second thought, Xuan Hao decided to directly use his divine sense to search for the winged lion demon beast. Using his divine sense without restraint, causing it to rapidly rush outside the boundaries of the Shattered Star Peaks before moving towards the border of the Star Shattering Sect where he expected to find the winged lion demon beast.
