Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Staring at the gate to the secret realm that was being guarded by people from the different major factions from the neutral territory, Chu Yang could not help regretting not participating in the auction that had taken place earlier.

Even if it might have been dangerous, with his current wealth, he should have been able to get his hands on one of the entrance passes being sold to wandering cultivators during the auction. Especially so considering that he had even seen a few people around the First and Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm making their way into the secret realm with the help of those special passes.

”Really bad luck… But giving up on that secret realm isn’t an option either…” Muttering this to himself as his gaze remained focused on the entrance to the secret realm, Chu Yang didn’t want to give up on entering the secret realm even at the risk of offending most of the major factions residing in the neutral territory.

The Reason for this was rather simple, as the secret realm wasn’t just any old secret realm but was instead one of the core locations of an ancient kingdom that was rumored to have once ruled what was now the neutral territory between the Blue Sea Empire and the Wei Empire.

Although he didn’t know a lot about this ancient kingdom that had once existed in the neutral territory, he understood that it had ancestors above the Dao Seed Realm back when it was still around. Making it obvious just how precious the cultivation resources and artifacts inside one of their core locations could be.

The fact that the major factions of the neutral territory seemed to value the secret realm so much also made this pretty obvious.

Although… The Fact that they even allowed others to enter the secret realm made it clear that it wasn’t a simple thing to obtain the things that had been left behind inside the secret realm, though, the main reason for that had to do with the fact that only those below the Domain Lord Realm could enter the secret realm, otherwise the secret realm would have long since been stripped of anything useful by the different major factions of the neutral territory.

One thing that did help when it came to the secret realm lasting for such a long time was the fact that this specific secret realm had only been discovered a little over 50 years ago and only opened once every ten years.

More importantly, every ten years it opened, the cultivation realm restrictions of those entering decreased. First only Qi Condensation Realm cultivators could enter, followed by Foundation Establishment Realm, Core Formation Realm, Nascent Soul Realm and finally Domain Lord Realm cultivators could enter the secret realm this time around.

In a sense, the reason why those major powers didn’t care much about who entered the secret realm at the moment was because the more important areas of the secret realm were not accessible to someone in the Domain Lord Realm.

Only from the Soul Ascension Realm would these major powers start to take who could enter the secret realm more seriously, as it was at that point that the true wealth of the secret realm would become available.

But… That doesn’t really have anything to do with me, I just want to enter for a chance to fight with the demon beasts inside the secret realm and to get my hands on some of the different cultivation resources unique to the secret realm and capable of helping someone in the Domain Lord Realm solidify and strengthen their domain…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Chu Yang steeled himself as he began approaching the entrance to the secret realm. Intend on entering the secret realm even if it meant he would end up offending the different major factions present in the process.

At the very least, the people who were guarding the entrance to the secret realm were only in the Domain Lord Realm. Meaning that as long as he made a move to try and rush into the secret realm, he should be able to get inside before those guards had a chance to stop him.

The main problem was that he had no idea whether or not there were any Soul Ascension Realm cultivators hidden around the entrance of the secret realm. Read to move the moment something happened.

After all, with his current strength, he had no way to find someone in the Soul Ascension Realm if they wanted to hide… And given the importance of the secret realm in the eyes of these different major factions, it wouldn’t be odd for them to have someone in the Soul Ascension Realm secretly keep an eye on the entrance of the secret realm.

The main thing that gave him some confidence in still entering the secret realm was the fact that most of the people had already entered the secret realm at this point in time. Resulting in the situation around the secret realm calming down significantly compared to when it had first opened up.

Back then, not to mention Soul Ascension Realm cultivators, Chu Yang even had a feeling that someone above the Soul Ascension Realm was present among the senior figures of the different major factions who had shown up to inspect the entrance and ensure that those in the Domain Lord Realm could enter-

”Stop! You need to present an entrance pass to proceed into the secret realm!”

”Huh? Ah! Sure, two seconds…”

Lost in his own thoughts as he was slowly moving closer to the entrance of the secret realm, Chu Yang was suddenly stopped by one of the two Domain Lord Realm cultivators guarding the entrance, as he subconsciously responded before motioning towards his interspatial ring as if looking for something.

Seeing this, the Domain Lord Realm cultivator who had walked forward to stop him also started relaxing as he stepped back a bit. Waiting for the person in front of him to find the entrance pass that he believed he was looking for.

Considering that it was well known who this secret realm was under the control of, he didn’t believe that Chu Yang would try anything, as doing so would essentially mean making an enemy of every major faction in the neutral territory.

No matter how brave he might be, there was no way someone just in the Domain Lord Realm would ever dare do something like that. Especially so considering that the entrance passes to the secret realm had already been sold off for a relatively cheap price to any of the more powerful wandering cultivators who wanted to enter the secret realm in search of opportunities to further increase their strength or find ways to prepare themselves for the first tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Whoosh-!

”Huh…?”

”Ah!?”

Because of this, he, along with the second guard who was half asleep at his post, were completely caught off guard, as Chu Yang used his movement technique to slip past them and enter the secret realm before they had a chance to react.

”This… What? Someone… Actually, forced their way inside the secret realm? Do they perhaps have some kind of death wish?”

”No idea… But we will have to inform the elders about this and make sure to catch that fellow when he leaves the secret realm in the future!”

As the two guards recovered from the shock of Chu Yang dashing past them into the secret realm, they quickly woke up from their somewhat lazy and half-asleep state before one of the two rushed off into the distance to inform the elders above them about what had happened, while the second remained at the entrance of the secret realm to guard the place.

Of course, compared to before, this guard was far more attentive at this point in time. Keeping an eye on any person or animal moving anywhere close to the entrance of the secret realm. Not allowing anyone of anything to get too close by making use of his domain to seal off the space and prevent anything like what had just happened from happening again.

In turn, the people who came to enter the secret realm following Chu Yang rushing inside, were forced to wave their entrance passes from afar before they were even allowed to approach the entrance of the secret realm.

Even when a group of elders arrived after hearing about the situation, it didn’t get any better for these wandering cultivators who had rightfully bought their entrance passes. Instead, it only got worse, as each of them were closely examined for close to an hour before they were allowed to enter the secret realm.

Although they wanted to complain, there was nothing they could do about it considering the strength of these elders had reached the Soul Ascension Realm, while they were only wandering cultivators in the Domain Lord Realm without any backing so to speak of.
