Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Feeling that his other disciples might also have seen a change in their status given that something new seemed to have appeared in the form of the comprehension stat, Xuan Hao didn’t waste much time before pulling up the status of his first disciple to see if there were any changes.

✧ First Disciple, Qing Yi ✧ Race: Human Talent: 45 Comprehension: 81 Dao: Dao of Fire (Domain), Dao of Alchemy (Pseudo Domain) Potential Dao: Dao of Fire, Dao of Wind, Dao of Light, Dao of Space, Dao of Alchemy Physique: Bright Sun Divine Physique (Peak Stage, Small Sun Realm) Realm: Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm Profession: Alchemy (Peak Master Realm) Looking through the status of Qing Yi, it didn’t take that long for him to spot the new stat that had similarly appeared below her talent… And surprisingly enough, it seemed to far surpass her talent.

Well… Considering that comprehension was something just as important if not more important the further one went, Xuan Hao didn’t find it too surprising that his disciple was also excellent in that regard.

Outside of that, he also noted down that it seemed like Qing Yi had managed to break through to the Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm while he wasn’t looking- or more accurately, while he was busy setting up the teleportation formation network across the Star Shattering Sect.

At the same time, it also seemed like her focus on her alchemy had paid off, as she had managed to reach the Peak of the Master Realm and seemed to only be a step away from reaching the Grandmaster Realm.

”Guess I should put aside some time to teach her and guide her alchemy…” Muttering this to himself as he looked over the status of his first disciple, Xuan Hao turned his attention towards his remaining disciples.

Unsurprisingly, all of them were excellent in their own regard and didn’t seem to differ too much when compared to Qing Yi… At least that was what he wanted to say, but there was a certain someone who stood out compared to the rest of his disciples.

The disciple in question was none other than his youngest disciple in terms of age and by far the most mischievous of the bunch, Mui…

✧ Fourth Disciple, Mui ✧ Race: Human Talent: 81 Comprehension: -81 Dao: Dao of Water (Domain) Potential Dao: Dao of Water, Dao of Darkness, Dao of Ice, Dao of Space, Dao of Chaos Physique: Desolate Ancient Moon Physique (Dormant) Realm: Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm Profession: Blacksmithing (Abysmal), Formation Master (Abysmal)

Cultivation Mantra: Myriad Water Art Not only had her talent somehow managed to break through 80, but her comprehension was somehow in the negative. Making him wonder if there was some kind of visual bug with the floating screen in front of him.

In the end, he couldn’t figure out what was wrong with this little disciple of his and could only dismiss the situation as some kind of mistake on the systems part at the moment, as it was clear that she didn’t have a negative comprehension considering the fact that she had managed to establish a water domain and start the process of comprehending the Dao of Water.

The only real thing she could think about was the rank of her professions, which were both abysmal…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao decided not to dwell too much on the strangeness of this youngest disciple of his, as he felt like he wouldn’t get any answers no matter how hard he tried.

Instead of that, he once again turned his attention back towards Fang Yu, still busy with the formation symbol in front of her.

Given her terrifying comprehension ability, Xuan Hao was already tempted to take her in as his sixth disciple.

The main reason he hadn’t just directly stepped forward to do this was the fact that he didn’t really know much about the girl outside of her clear interest in the Dao of Formations. More importantly, he didn’t have any idea if she already had a master.

Although… Given that the girl should have already broken through to the Grandmaster Realm and become a Grandmaster Realm Formation Master, he doubted that she had a master. Especially given the fact that information about her reaching the Grandmaster Realm should have long since spread across the sect if she had a master.

The only reason why was the fact that this little girl had managed to become a Grandmaster Realm Formation Master was because the little one was far too focused on the Dao of Formations, to the point where she didn’t even seem to care about informing others about her apparent breakthrough to the Grandmaster Realm. Instead, remaining wholeheartedly focused on continuing to deepen her understanding of the Dao of Formations and furthering her own realm as a Formation Master in the process.

The elders of the sect were far too chatty with each other to keep something like this hidden from each other…

Shaking his head at these thoughts, Xuan Hao slowly retracted his gaze from the young girl before silently using his divine sense to inform Elder Song about the situation and have him make proper arrangements for the girl and at the same time also look into her and see if she had a master for him.

Considering that she had already reached the Grandmaster Realm, it didn’t make sense for her to just continue like she was doing now and only receive the resources of a normal Inner Sect Disciple.

And… More importantly than that, he also had to make sure that she became a part of the Formation Hall’s Elders!

Only if she became an elder of the Formation Hall would she count towards the sect quest. Having her remain as a normal disciple simply wouldn’t do…!

Smiling to himself as he thought about this, while also noticing the clear moments from Elder Song’s side following him learning about the existence of a Grandmaster Realm Formation Master among the inner disciples of the sect, Xuan Hao didn’t continue staying around the formation hall any longer and soon left.

Planning to wait until Elder Song sorted out the situation before going further with his intent to take in the girl as a potential sixth disciple. After all, she was already part of the Star Shattering Sect, and it wasn’t like there was anyone else in the sect with the qualities to take her as a disciple in her current realm. Especially so in regard to her achievements in the Dao of Formations.
