Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Pondering over a way to rapidly increase his comprehension of not just the Dao of Space, but also the other Daos he had comprehend and reach the requirement to breakthrough to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao could ultimately only think of going back inside the mystic realm and try to complete the quest related to the celestial gates that he had originally decided to postpone due to it being extremely risky with his current strength.

The source crystal he had on him could also work, but it would be a rather dangerous endeavor due to its size and the energy inside of it possibly blowing him up if he couldn’t absorb it in time, something he doubted was possible with his current cultivation realm.

Outside of that, there was the Time Stone as well, that he could use to try and comprehend the Dao of Time…

But the fact that anyone who seemed to have comprehended the Dao of Time went missing in the past and the fact that he would want to try and use it together with the source crystal to increase the chance of him comprehending the Dao of Time when actually using the Time Stone itself, he wanted to avoid using it for now if possible.

Leaving all of that aside, it seemed like his only real option at the moment would be for him to go back to the mystic realm and complete the incomplete quest related to the celestial gates…

[Sect Quest: Establish a Proper Alchemy Hall]

[Alchemy Hall Disciples (Below Master Realm): 267/500]

[Alchemy Hall Elders (Master Realm): 3/10]

[Alchemy Hall Elders (Grandmaster Realm): 0/1]

[Reward: Dao of Alchemy Comprehension, Alchemy Recipes, Spiritual Herbs]

Just as he was about to prepare for setting off for the mystic realm again, a line of text suddenly popped up in front of him, as it finally seemed like the system showed some life after a long time of being in what could only be considered to be some kind of comatose state.

[Sect Quest: Establish a Proper Formation Hall]

[Formation Hall Disciples (Below Master Realm): 173/500]

[Formation Hall Elders (Master Realm): 1/10]

[Formation Hall Elders (Grandmaster Realm): 0/1]

[Reward: Dao of Formations Comprehension, Formation Diagrams, Formation Training Stones, Formation Construction Materials]

Of course, it wasn’t just a single sect quest that popped up, but instead a lot of them all related to the growth of the Star Shattering Sect’s three main profession halls that could be considered to have been fully established at this point in time.

At the very least being more integrated compared to the few talisman masters, that the sect had worked hard to scout over the past few years, who still hadn’t managed to grow enough to establish a proper hall or something similar for themselves…

[Sect Quest: Establish a Proper Blacksmithing Hall]

[Blacksmithing Hall Disciples (Below Master Realm): 417/500]

[Blacksmithing Hall Elders (Master Realm): 6/10]

[Blacksmithing Hall Elders (Grandmaster Realm): 1/1]

[Reward: Dao of Blacksmithing Comprehension, Artifact Blueprints, Spiritual Metal]

Among them, the most impressive one was the blacksmithing hall, that easily stood out as the strongest among the three halls.

The main reason for the massive difference when compared to the other two halls was the fact that the blacksmithing hall simply had Bai Ning who had taken on the role as a teacher for the different elders of the blacksmithing hall and had helped most of the Master Realm Blacksmiths of the blacksmithing hall take that final step and breakthrough to the master realm.

The alchemy hall on the other hand, did have a lot of elders on the brink of reaching the Master Realm, but were still a step behind, as Pei Yang had only recently started teaching these alchemy hall elders a little over a year ago due to the competition that had ended a few months earlier.

At the same time, Xuan Hao also noticed that it was only those who were part of the different halls that were counted in the sect quest itself, with people like Yi Min and Pei Yang, one in the Grand Master Realm and the other in the Pseudo Saint Realm, weren’t counted in the sect quest.

”So… They have to officially be part of the different halls to be counted as part of the sect quest…” Muttering this to himself as he glanced over the three brand new quests that seemed to have arrived just in time, Xuan Hao slowly turned his attention to a fourth quest that had similarly appeared below the three others.

[Main Sect Quest: First Steps towards Becoming a Major Power (I)]

[Description: The sect has entered a state of rapid growth and is about to finally step onto the main stage of the Ewaria Continent. Help the sect reach the requirements to become a major power on the Ewaria Continent.]

[Core Formation Realm Disciples: 1746/10.000]

[Nascent Soul Realm Disciples: 11/100]

[Domain Lord Realm Disciples: 5/10]

[Soul Ascension Realm Elders: 0/100]

[Dao Seed Realm Elders: 1/10]

[Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor: 0/1]

[Reward: World Stone (Immortal), Chaotic Qi Formation Upgrade, ???]

[Note: Does not count host as part of the requirements]

”How in the world am I supposed to complete this quest…?” Chuckling a bit wryly to himself as he looked over the content of the fourth quest that was related to the overall strength of the sect, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit distraught.

Not so much because of how far he was from completing the quest in question, but because he understood that this was the level of strength that would be required for one to establish oneself as a major power on the Ewaria Continent, something that still seemed to be far off for the current Star Shattering Sect at the moment.

Although he did discover something quite interesting looking over the current progress of the quest, as it seemed like outside of his disciples, who had all managed to reach the Domain Lord Realm at this point in time, there were actually eleven disciples who had managed to reach the Nascent Soul Realm. Showing that there were still talents inside the sect that he was unaware of.

Whoosh~!

Using his divine sense to check out these talented juniors who had managed to reach the Nascent Soul Realm while still being disciples, Xuan Hao quickly found out why, as almost all of these ’juniors’ were already well over a hundred years old and had simply managed to take advantage of the sect’s growth to propel themselves all the way into the Nascent Soul Realm. Having already been talented Core Formation Realm disciples seen as potential future elders before the establishment of the Star Shattering Sect.

The only exception to this seemed to be, Yi Xuan, a personal disciple of Zu Fei and Lu Wen, a personal disciple of Wang Hu that he seemed to remember from somewhere he couldn’t really put his hand on.

Outside of those two though, there was a rather surprising one that Xuan Hao hadn’t expected among the Nascent Soul Realm cultivators and that was none other than Fang Yu, a young disciple whom he had personally helped enter the Formation Hall in the past.

Although, back then, she had only been in the Fourth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm…

How in the world had she suddenly managed to go all the way from the Fourth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm to the Nascent Soul Realm in such a short period of time?

Even more so, considering that he clearly remembered having checked her talent with the system back then and finding nothing out of the ordinary about her.

Filled with questions, Xuan Hao soon disappeared from the place he was standing in before discreetly arriving outside a section of the formation hall where Fang Yu was currently busy studying a formation symbol that had been copied from one of the teleportation formations he had drawn up inside the sect. No different from what the rest of the formation disciples and elders of the sect were doing.

I wonder what is so special about you that allowed you to reach the Nascent Soul Realm in such a short period of time…

Narrowing both of his eyes as he thought about this, Xuan Hao directly used the system to examine Fang Yu standing not too far away.

Name: Fang Yu

Race: Human Talent: 16

Comprehension: 119

Dao: Dao of Formations (Elementary Realm) Physique: No Special Physique Realm: First Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm At first, Xuan Hao saw what he had seen in the past without any surprise- However this didn’t last for long, as he soon saw a brand-new section had appeared below the talent part… And even more shockingly, he discovered that she had already comprehended the Dao of Formations to the Elementary Realm despite only being in the Nascent Soul Realm!

Wait a second… The sect quest…

[Sect Quest: Establish a Proper Formation Hall]

[Reward: Dao of Formations Comprehension, Formation Diagrams, Formation Training Stones, Formation Construction Materials]

Suddenly, realizing something Xuan Hao pulled up the newly acquired sect quest before narrowing his eyes as he focused on a certain part of the quest.

[Formation Hall Elders (Grandmaster Realm): 0/1]

But… This girl is clearly in the Grandmaster Realm having comprehended the Dao of Formations to the Elementary Realm- Ah! Elder… She is not an elder! So that is why…

Feeling like he understood why the sect quest still showed 0/1, Xuan Hao soon focused his attention back on the important matter at hand, a new stat had appeared for scouting talented disciples and the girl in front of him seemed to have an outrageously high comprehension when it came to the Dao of Formations…
