Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”I should leave this place before anyone attracted by the attack just now shows up…” Muttering this to himself as he glanced over the scar that had been left behind by the power contained inside his master’s talisman one last time, Chu Yang didn’t waste any more time and turned around to leave before any powerful demon beasts or other powerful Domain Lord Realm cultivators were attracted to his location by the powerful attack just now.

Considering that most of the Domain Lord Realm cultivators who had been chasing after him earlier had already died together with the guardian of the source crystal, with only a few barely managing to escape in time with the help of some lifesaving measures given to them by their seniors or obtained through fortuitous encounters, Chu Yang didn’t have to worry about escaping at the moment and could afford to move at his normal speed again.

Of course, even though he didn’t have to worry about being chased in the short term, he still had to find a way to get back to the safer part of the secret realm.

Intending to find a secluded location where he could peacefully consume the source crystal without any problems. Understanding that doing so should help him break through the bottleneck he had encountered after reaching the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Possibly even propelling him all the way to the Peak of the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in the process.

Then again, the main reason for him to use the source crystal was not to increase his cultivation realm, but instead for him to increase his comprehension of the Dao of the Spear.

After all, increasing his comprehension of the Dao of the Spear was paramount to his smooth progress to the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm and beyond.

Not to mention, given that he was already aware of the realms beyond the Domain Lord Realm to some extent due to his master’s teachings and what he had encountered in the neutral territory of the core region he was currently inside of- Well… Technically, he wasn’t inside of the neutral territory of the core region at the moment, but instead a secret realm connected to it, but that didn’t really matter that much at the moment.

The important thing was that he understood how important it was to increase his comprehension of the Dao of the Spear.

Not just the Dao of the Spear, but maybe also his comprehension of other Daos that he had somewhat thrown to the side as he focused his full attention on comprehending the Dao of the Spear. Hoping to enter the Elementary Realm that his master had taught him about…

Whoosh~!

As Chu Yang the scene of the crime with the price in hand, it didn’t take long before several powerful demon beasts, each having at least reached the Soul Ascension Realm, appeared around the massive canyon that had been seemingly carved just moments ago.

Roar…!

Roar…

Not a second later, they all fearfully roared at each other as a form of communication. Clearly shocked by the power that still radiated from the scar left by what they could only imagine to be some kind of unimaginably powerful existence far beyond themselves…

Whoosh-!

Whoosh-!

Whoosh-!

And given that all of them had at least reached the Soul Ascension Realm, they were in no way inferior to humans in terms of intelligence, thus they understood deeply that it wasn’t a good idea for them to stay around the terrifying scar any longer than necessary. Soon enough, scattering in all directions just as fast as they had shown up.

The main reason for their arrival in the first place was because they had no idea the terrifying presence they had felt when the attack was unleashed had been from someone attacking. Instead, having thought it might have been some kind of precious natural treasure that had come into existence.

Now that they understood that this was not the case, they had no reason to stay around any longer.

As for investigating who or where this attack had come from? They weren’t dumb enough to do something like that. Understanding full well that the strength of the one who had left behind the attack just now was far beyond them.

On the other hand, they would prefer if the other party didn’t run into the one behind the attack, as that would almost certainly be a death sentence in their eyes.

Although…

There was one positive thing that came from everything that all of these powerful demon beasts at the Soul Ascension Realm understood… And that was the sword scar that had been left behind by Xuan Hao’s sword strike.

Even though it was just a bit of remnant power lingering around the scar itself, it contained unimaginable power and was imbued with Xuan Hao’s understanding of the Dao of the Sword and the Dao of Space.

For these powerful Soul Ascension Realm demon beasts, it would be beneficial for them to cultivate around the sword scar, as it could help increase their comprehension of these Daos.

Of course, given how recent the attack had been and the fact that all of these demon beasts were still fearful of running into the one who had caused the attack, they still decided to find somewhere and hide away for a few weeks or months before daring to go anywhere near the sword scar to cultivate.

Luckily, the power lingering around the place wasn’t something that would just disappear in a few years nor was it anything that could forcibly be moved or erased by someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, thus, these demon beasts had no fear that any of the other demon beasts would do anything that might lower the potential future benefits of cultivating next to the sword scar.

In the eyes of these demon beasts, the sword scar was a new treasure for them that would help their cultivation improve for the next hundreds of years, if not longer. Waiting a few weeks or months before making use of the lingering power surrounding the scar to try and grasp some of Daos used during the attack was nothing!

”Wha?! What in the world is this!?”

”What happened here…? I only heard something about a source crystal appearing and someone trying to snatch it away or something…”

”No idea, but this kind of attack and the still lingering power… It all sends a shiver down my spine imagining a demon beast capable of doing something like this lurking inside of the secret realm…”

Following the disappearance of the powerful demon beasts, it didn’t take long for the different Domain Lord Realm cultivators who had entered the secret realm to start flooding towards the area in droves. Soon enough, growing to a size of over a hundred, causing even the local demon beasts who had come to investigate the situation to shrink back. Trying their best to avoid offending this massive swarm of humans.

”Such a terrifying attack power. Directly cleaving such a towering mountain in half… Is this even something someone in the Soul Ascension Realm can do…?”

At the same time that the different Domain Lord Realm cultivators were all lost in disbelief looking at the devastation that had been left behind by the sword attack of Xuan Hao, one of the more knowledgeable among them could not help muttering this to himself.

Having seen some of his seniors in the Soul Ascension Realm fight before, he clearly understood that the level of power behind what had happened in this place was clearly above that of the Soul Ascension Realm… And the sheer dread he felt looking at the sword scar made him confident that it should have definitely been done by a senior figure in the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm)!

It was at these thoughts that this single Domain Lord Realm cultivator suddenly lost his earlier will to explore the secret realm like he had originally been wanting to do.

Exploring the unknown secret realm filled to the brim with opportunities to increase his cultivation and a slight possibility of encountering a Soul Ascension Realm demon beast was one thing, Exploring the unknown and unexplored parts of the secret realm with the possibility of encountering a demon beast in the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) was another thing entirely.

After all, the area covered by the latter was far greater than that of a demon beast in the Soul Ascension Realm.

Not to mention, some demon beasts in the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) possessed the ability to take on partial human forms. Making them close to no different outside of a few traits like scales, tails, ears or other body parts that retained some of their original form.

If a demon beast had really reached that level, he did not fear the demon beast as much as he feared it potentially finding a way to leave the secret realm when they left in the future, something that would spell trouble for the different major powers of the neutral region, one of which he was part of!
