Facing an Ancient God for a Year

Chapter 2386: Chapter 2381: Vibrant Melia

Isn’t it a bit too chaotic?

Within a few words, Professor Ah Kai’s experiences have already been basically clarified.

And indeed, it doesn’t disappoint, as the things revealed behind the scenes are very intriguing.

The Inspiration behind the Miracle, even its content, still seems fairly reasonable, but once paired with the final result, the more you think about it the more terrifying it becomes.

Originally, it should have been like the ark, contaminated by the concept of ”sea.”

Then, the imagined normal scene should have turned into something like a mermaid or Naga? At the very least, it should have grown tentacles and barnacles?

Instead, the result was directly falling into a full anesthesia-like sleep?

No wonder Ah Kai, puzzled from every angle, rushed over here.

”Your experience indicates that the Miracle not only took effect but was very successful, but the way it took effect seems unreasonable no matter how you look at it?”

Under Ah Kai’s expectant gaze, Fu Qian casually expressed the doubt in his heart.

”Yes, I completely cannot understand it, so much so that it feels very inappropriate.”

Those who understand me say I am worried, and having a listener with strong Empathy is extremely moving. Ah Kai inadvertently let his expressions slip, not concealing his concerns.

”Accidentally obtaining promotion is indeed a surprise for me, but I’m worried there might be some unknown hidden dangers, to myself... or even everyone.”

...

Actually, it’s not that difficult to understand.

Professor Ah Kai’s attitude is still quite open, admitting he was as lucky as finding money, while the worries that follow don’t seem pretentious.

As a researcher in the ”Ivory Tower,” he is considered well-informed and doesn’t have naive misjudgments.

Although a pie in the sky might be delicious, it could also be Poison.

The unknowns of the Supernatural World are inherently the greatest danger, let alone involving Divinity.

Of course, the reason for this distress is partly because being well-informed is not sufficient enough.

For example, from Professor Fu’s perspective, he can vaguely understand why the Miracle ended up like that—Melia.

So far, several things have already shown this inexplicable non-existent state.

Indeed, even when informed that Professor Ah Kai was ”missing,” Fu Qian did not hesitate to make certain associations.

For instance, Melia was missing, and later it was proven that the Fungus Emperor was also missing...

Perhaps when waking Professor Ah Kai, his state was described as ”full anesthesia,” but thinking carefully, if he hadn’t been successfully extracted, to this world, wouldn’t Ah Kai also be equivalent to ”non-existent?”

His manuscripts, his spiritual wealth, his deeds all still remain, but the main body has fallen into the well of time, losing significance with this world.

And if this situation is extended deeper, doesn’t it somewhat explain the initial doubt of the Jade Soul Master?—

Melia never existed, at any point in history.

The nature might be more severe, but the artistic style seems similar.

More importantly, whether it’s the Inspiration behind the Miracle originating from the ark or the mimic mushrooms used in the rituals, currently it seems that they are faintly related.

Ark, pier, homeland... these verified elements previously, combined with the ”domain of Melia’s sibyl” from the Academy side, the Superior Being who built the ship is most likely also Melia. This probability becomes notably high.

Moreover, the special Miracle ”Melia’s Resurrection” seen in ”Doomsday” used by Nepheli, is so similar to those ”pregnant men and women” inside the ark.

And through the visions after eating the fungi earlier, along with the results of the last test, it gave rise to a bold hypothesis that Melia and the Fungus Emperor might be two sides of the same coin—then has it now become three sides?

After all, the power directing Ah Kai’s Miracle this time, in Fu Qian’s understanding, should still be the concept of ”sea,” yet unexpectedly there appears to be a predicament similar to Melia?

This inevitably leads to a conjecture: Lord Melia adds another form.

All in all, the cause of the previous incident is precisely because Ah Kai, due to the success of the Miracle, to some extent, also became contaminated with the name Melia, triggering the ”Not allowed to exist” Curse.

...

The problem is, if the above assumption holds true, Melia’s situation is too incredible.

When Lan Fyla saw the Superior Being of the trinity during Blue Fyla’s time, this time it’s reversed, divided into three?

Even among these three forms, there are indeed some common aspects—snow trees, mushrooms, seaweed, all appear vibrant with vitality.

”No need to worry too much, tell me what special significance the Miracle has in helping to break the limits on the path of the Good Spell.”

Ignorance is dangerous, but some knowledge can also be a Curse. While organizing the information in his mind, Fu Qian didn’t rush to share, but instead showed interest in the Extraordinary Path of the Miracle.

If it was simply the situation before, Ah Kai might not have been so concerned, after all, the benefits were indeed obtained.

Even if there are issues with the Miracle, it would at most later be classified as a forbidden art, prohibiting anyone from using it.

Being in such a hurry to come over likely indicates additional worries.

...

”It’s quite subtle, not having as strong a correlation as Heaven’s Commencement Institute, but it certainly has an impact.”

As expected, although the Good Spell hasn’t spawned a High Tier for days, experience in this area still remains.

”Firstly, it won’t grant me special abilities, including there won’t be any obvious tendency towards physical strengthening.”

Ah Kai said this while showing his hand, at a glance it really doesn’t have scales or bark-like things.

”The tendency manifests on a true spiritual level, according to the forerunners, in this process one will acquire forbidden knowledge related to the Miracle behind... but in reality, knowledge remains abstract, in my view, it should be called Affinity.”

”Oh? So it’s not a moment of having a lot of knowledge infused into the brain, but enlightenment in certain aspects?”

Fu Qian listened attentively, trying to understand Ah Kai’s explanation.

”Precisely, remember I mentioned about walking the path of the Miracle, what’s needed is a Talent referred to as spirituality?”

Professor Fu’s professional capability, Ah Kai had no doubts, nodding while mentioning the topics previously discussed.

”The manifestation of ’knowledge’ is not simply about acquiring a bunch of things, but more easily a flash of inspiration at a certain moment. This change is difficult to grasp and hard to materialize, but seems to truly exist.”

Although discussing an exciting upgrading topic, Ah Kai’s tone is somewhat heavy.

”But you’re worried this situation may have adverse effects? Maybe even affecting others?”

While Professor Fu is always pragmatic, thinking even without blind reassurance.

”Hmm... it really is a problem worthy of concern.”
