Chapter 333: Using Sword of Infinity

Ethan arrived at the 16th floor.

This place was a very beautiful one. There were a night sky full of stars, a huge lake with crystal like water, reflecting the star lights.

In the middle of the lake, a woman in white was sitting on a grand throne and had a violin on her shoulder. Her face was covered with a veil.

But she was not alone. Someone else was also there. He was a young man standing beside the throne with a great sword on his back.

Both of them had similar level of power.

10 Gray Seals.

Ethan now understood the power change. It became 2 from the initial one guardian per floor.

The young man looked at his eyes from the middle of the lake and took a step forward.

He vanished from his place and appeared in front of Ethan. He was not attacking, was just looking at Ethan from head to toe.

”You are just 15 years old? Which bloodline are you from? Ancient Human bloodline or Progenitor Human bloodline? How did you come to this mausoleum?”

Ethan looked at the man calmly. He was not eager to attack now.

”Are you calling this Tower of Ascension Realm a mausoleum?”, he asked.

”I see. Your path forward is cut off from here on out. But a bloodline like you, I feel sorry for it.”, the young man said with some pity in his eyes.

Ethan’s eyes turned cold this time. Being looked down on was not something he liked.

”Trust me, I don’t give a fuck even if you are someone above Origin Being in the real world, but here, you are just an ant in front of me. So just don’t waste my time and die.”

Ethan wanted to ask some questions but seeing his cocky look, he got irritated.

”You..”

But before the man could say anything, he turned into cosmic particles.

Ethan used the ”Eye of Oblivion” on him.

The woman was still sitting on the throne waiting for her role to come and say some cocky words too, but her partner was obliterated into nothingness before she could even understand what happened.

She was just about to start her violin but Ethan destroyed her too.

”Pathetic”

After saying that he started his ascension again. One or two didn’t matter to him. So he directly went to the 20th floor using Eye of Oblivion only.

On the outside, one of the guardians looked at the ranking.

”I am the one who was nice to him before. So I should get the first chance to invite him in our family.”

”Why do you suck my dick and try again?”, said another guardian with a mocking tone.

”Do you want to die?”, said the first guardian with coldness in his eyes.

”Oh, you can try in the Origin Realm. I am ready whenever you are.”, the second one said with immense confidence in his tone.

”Stop this bullshit and keep watching. You two very well know that won’t happen. Once he comes out, we will invite him into our family. Let him decide which one he will choose. The boy must be coming out soon.”, this time, the strongest guardian among them said calmly.

So they started looking at the ranking quietly.

They even forgot their own candidates were also in the tower.

In the thirteenth floor, Aren killed the floor guardian.

”System, do you think I’ll be able to pass the 30th floor if I use the cursed sword?”

[Host, I strongly prohibit you from doing this. There is a chance it will consume your rationality.]

”Huh? Can’t you do something about that?”, Aren asked confusedly.

[I don’t know its origin. Something like that is dangerous even in the 36th Sky of the Origin Dimension. Use the Sword of Justice from the system. It will let you fight till floor 30th, but you won’t be able to pass it. But it is much safer.]

Aren didn’t say anything and went to the 14th floor.

In the 20th floor, he finally needed to use external amplification techniques as his base power couldn’t take him any further.

”Sword of Infinity.”

Ethan summoned his sword.

But before he could use it,

”You... you.. no, no. How can this be?”, the guardians turned stiff with immense fear. The fear was instinctive. They remembered this sword. Countless eons ago, this came here as a nightmare to these guardians.

Ethan looked at the stiff looking guardians with some confusion in his eyes.

But he didn’t waste time and killed both of them.

His target was the 26th floor. He would practice his battle arts with that guardian for 5 days. Then he would start his main plan.

But to his surprise, all the guardians were reacting like before. They were acting like kittens the moment they saw him with that Sword of Infinity of his.

”What the hell is wrong with them?”, Ethan asked the system.

[Master, I don’t know]

”Sigh! You should become more powerful system.”, Ethan could softly complain, nothing more.

He already reached the 25th floor and won all the battles easily.

In the 25th floor, there were one man and one woman too. But they looked more dignified than others.

As soon as they saw Ethan’s Sword of Infinity, they looked at each other.

Then gently gave him a bow.

”We welcome your Highness to our floor. But sir, according to the rule of the tower, we need to fight you. Please forgive us.”

”Can you tell me what’s wrong with all these guardians? And why are you being so polite?”, Ethan asked them.

They again looked at each other and had a look of understanding.

”So that’s how it is. Sorry sir, we can’t tell you the truth. But please don’t misunderstand us. We just simply can’t disclose the information.”, they bowed again.

Ethan just sighed and looked at them.

”Then fight me with your full power. Don’t hold back anything.” Ethan launched his attack. This time he was using the technique he learned in the 15th floor, ”Singularity Requiem”.

”Thank you for giving us permission sir.”, they both launched their attack.

For the first time in his cultivation journey, Ethan was fighting with real pressure on his head. Because he didn’t have much trump cards left anymore. And he could barely contend against them.

He was getting the real fun of battle after a long time.

A smile started to form on his face slowly. His blood was boiling with real excitement.

On the outside, all the guardians were looking at the ranking board while standing up. They couldn’t sit down at all.

”The legend says, the Origin Being in my family reached only 25th floor at his time.”, he gulped down hard.

”Same here.”

They were still looking at this situation like a normal genius had appeared, but right now Ethan had reached the genius level of an Origin Being when he was a peak 3rd Dimensional Being.

”Hey look, that outsider too surpassed the 15th floor. The lucky stars chosen by this realm are really something else.”

Aren chose a sacred fruit from the 15th floor. He needed some immediate power boost up. His target was to reach the 30th floor too. He was on a journey to become the strongest existence and rule over everything. Of course it was set by his system.

But Aren’s real target was to surpass the 30th floor and reach the higher floor. If possible, 36th floor. The pinnacle of existence would surely come out from here.
