Chapter 305: Killing the demon

The ancestor was shaking with anger and fear.

He had sacrificed his ancestral weapon, the Seal of Destruction, just to defeat that bastard. He had even hurt his origin source in the process. Yet that demon was still alive and had even possessed the empress of the empire under his protection.

It was truly a humiliation to his existence.

But he knew he couldn’t defeat this demon anymore.

Firstly, he was not in his prime anymore, and he had already lost his weapon, which he had used to defeat the demon before.

Secondly, the demon had already merged with the soul of the empress. If he did anything rash, there was a chance that he would only harm the empress and wouldn’t be able to do anything to the actual demon.

So his only hope was this supreme existence floating in the dark world with absolutely calm eyes right now. Those eyes were so calm that they felt chilling.

”In the law of existence, only strength rules over everything else. Let’s finish your suffering, o tiny demon. I have things to do. Fatty Blue hasn’t eaten yet.

If he doesn’t eat properly, he will become thinner. That is absolutely not allowed. So you have to die quickly,” Ethan muttered slowly.

”Huh? What did you say, punk? You think you can do anything to me with this level of strength? You are far from that boy,” the demon snarled.

Ethan had just released Tier 17 level pressure.

The demon was actually a Tier 19.

Ethan didn’t say anything, only the pressure gushing out from his body started to rise exponentially.

”Oh? You still have some juice left in you? It will be delightful to devour your soul. Go on, reach your peak level. I want to enjoy the despair you feel when I devour you even after you show your full power. Kekekeke.”

It looked odd because the demon had merged with the soul of the empress, so it looked somewhat like her, which made it even more disturbing.

But suddenly the demon felt something was wrong. Extremely wrong.

”No, stop! What are you doing? Stop! How can you exert more pressure? You are breaking the law! I said stop!” it roared like a madman.

Because Ethan’s pressure had already surpassed Tier 19 and was still increasing.

This world was like a sanctuary where anyone above Tier 19 was not allowed.

This demon had entered here after finding a loophole in the defense system of this sanctuary, but he couldn’t stay here as he was, because there was a will of this place. Though it was almost dead, it still had some consciousness left. So he acted as though he had been defeated by the strongest person here and possessed someone close to him.

He was slowly merging with the soul of the empress, one of the native life forms of this sanctuary.

He wanted to take over this place, which was actually a massive space treasure refined by the life blood of twenty-seven existences from the human side.

So everyone wanted to possess this supreme treasure, but they couldn’t find any loophole in the defense.

This demon was lucky and didn’t tell anyone about it outside.

But now, the human in front of him was breaking the law of this place. Clearly, he was someone above Tier 19, but the space treasure didn’t seem to affect him.

It was because they were now in Ethan’s domain, which he had awakened after seeing a dream about his past self using it.

The ultimate domain of Ethan Hunt could cut off space from any place. It didn’t matter if it was the third dimension, fourth dimension, origin dimension, or even the dimension of a supreme space treasure.

So he could go as wild as he wanted, and the treasure’s will wouldn’t feel anything about it.

”Please stop, please! I’ll release this woman this instant. Please, sir, I have information about the outside world. Surely you would want to know about that,” the demon pleaded, trying to tempt him.

Ethan had a look of surprise in his eyes.

When the demon saw that, it felt relieved.

But then it felt a tremendous pressure separating it from the woman’s soul, and it was unable to do anything about it.

It fell from intense excitement to utter despair.

It had met an anomaly here, and it was not ready for it.

”Heal.”

Boom!

This time, no gentle energy gushed out from him; instead, violent and chaotic energy came out.

It entered the demon’s soul and extracted all its memory particles, then destroyed its cosmic bonding. After that, the demon disintegrated into nothingness.

The memory particles entered Ethan’s mind.

Then he snapped his fingers, and the empress’s soul returned to her body.

Ethan slowly started to shrink and became his little version, which was his actual form now.

The ultimate domain was also lifted.

But the ancestor, Emperor Zenos, and Sofia looked like they had lost their souls.

What had they just seen? What was that? How could someone be this powerful?

Ethan looked at their almost soulless faces.

”What’s wrong with you people? Your empress is safe and sound now. Send the money soon, alright?”

The old man looked at Ethan and fell to his knees.

”Sir, please, make me your follower. I can become your butler and cook food for you, and I can also comb Sir Blue’s fur daily.”

Sofia cursed instantly. No wonder he was an old geezer. How quick he was in his actions. But she wouldn’t be outdone by a geezer. She had her own weapon.

”Sage, he has gone senile because of old age. How can he become your butler?

Look at me, I am young, beautiful, and can take care of you in more than one way,” she said the last line with some seduction.

”Please make me your maid.”

Zenos and his wife, who had just woken up, were looking at this scene utterly dumbfounded.

”Are they the two supreme beings of my empire? How come I don’t recognize them anymore?”

”Darling, what is going on? Can you tell me, please?” his wife looked at him in confusion.

Zenos looked at his beautiful wife and then kissed her forehead. After that, he told her everything.

Eliza’s eyes widened. This was nothing but a thriller story that had happened in her own life.

”Darling, you can wash clothes very well, and I can cook. Why don’t both of us also apply for a position?” Eliza asked innocently.

Hearing his wife’s words, Zenos felt like the land under his feet had suddenly vanished.

”Darling, you know I like cooking. Why don’t you do the washing?” Zenos replied seriously. He couldn’t believe his wife, aunt, and ancestor were competing with him for a position.

But what they didn’t know was that Ethan had already removed his domain, and everyone could see them now.

The entire palace was silent. Even Rey felt like he was in a nightmare right now. There was no way this was real.

The emperor of the Aurion Empire, that crazy woman, and probably their ancestor were quarreling to become Ethan’s servant?

It was absolutely unbelievable to him.

But then a loud roar came from the villagers.

”How can you guys be this shameless? Huh? How can the great sage accept you as his servants?”

A young and beautiful woman said loudly.

Rey instantly felt the girl was very pretty and brilliant. What a beautiful girl who could scold those bastards.

He gave her a thumbs up.

But then—

”He should accept me as his servant. I am young, and my special part is still tight, not like some old hags,” she said, looking at Sofia and the empress with disdain.

Rey almost unsheathed his sword. He would kill that daughter of a bitch.

Ethan, however, had already vanished from there. He was absorbing the memories. He wanted to learn what was going on outside.

He was still not strong enough to go outside. But he was sure that more and more life forms from outside the space treasure would visit them soon.

If that demon could find a loophole, others would also be able to do that soon.

He needed to prepare for that.

In the outside world,

”Demon God, that filthy bastard has just died. His soul is extinguished. What do we do? Where will we find the information now?”

”Don’t worry. Bring me to a place where he has been before. I’ll bring him out from the space-time river of that place,” the man whose face couldn’t be seen muttered softly.

”Yes, sire. Please come with me. I’ll bring you to such a place.”

Soon they arrived at the home of that demon.

”My lord, this is the house of that vermin.”

The middle-aged man, whose head had four exquisite horns that looked like a crown, looked at the place.

He extended his right hand and muttered, ”Space-time reversal.”

Instantly, eons after eons of time started reversing.

But the odd thing was that there was not a single trace of that demon in this space-time reversal scene.
