Chapter 310: Meeting of the two chosen

They gave their introduction, but still, there was no reply.

It was as if they weren’t worth anything to him at all.

The leader of the five of them was a middle-aged elf.

His eyes turned somewhat cold.

”Fellow cultivator, we will ask you again politely. Hand over that demon or don’t expect any respect from us.”

These five were all Martial King level powerhouses, not even tier 1 existences, but they were the absolute rulers of this region.

However, elves were good at magic, so their cultivation was based on magic. They were five Magus Kings.

They were so conceited that the idea that the cultivator might be a demon didn’t even occur to them. They thought no one other than elves could come here, into their Elven Empire.

But Ethan didn’t pay them any attention because their presence was so minuscule to him that he almost missed them. They were like some bugs to him.

However, that was not the main point — the little demoness was. She was currently looking at everything as if she had arrived in heaven.

It was so beautiful that she almost forgot how to breathe.

There was a fountain where Spirit Water was flowing, and there were trees bearing different fruits, but those were all Spirit Fruits. The environment held the purest energy she had ever felt.

It was nothing less than paradise to her, but she didn’t dare to touch anything.

A place like this could only belong to someone who was at least more powerful than her father, who was a Demon Emperor — a powerful person who could destroy nations with a wave of his hand.

”Thank you for saving me. I don’t know how to repay your kindness. I am the princess of the Geymar Demon Empire. If you contact my father, he will surely repay you.”

She didn’t refer to him as sir or madam because she still didn’t know whether the person who saved her was a man or a woman. Calling that person by the wrong gender would be disrespectful.

Ethan was speechless at the little demoness’s words. How could her father, a pesky demon who wasn’t even a tier 1 existence, fulfill any of his wishes?

”Little one, our fate has interwoven, so I’ll give you an opportunity. It’s up to you if you want to take it or not.”

Finally, the girl heard Ethan’s voice in her mind. It was an extremely handsome voice.

”Sir, I am willing.”

She was a demoness, after all. She didn’t even blink before accepting it, unlike Ron.

”Very well then. This is a technique I want you to learn within 30 days. If you can, I’ll give you the opportunity.”

She was also given the Extinction Sword Technique. Ethan wanted to find out who had the greater comprehension ability between the two.

The one who could comprehend the technique faster would receive a supreme bloodline from Ethan.

Ethan was going to have some fun. For him, making someone powerful from weakness was a great form of amusement.

The girl found the technique in her head, and instantly, she vanished from the place.

Ethan would choose five chosen ones like this. Then he would groom them for the next year.

If any of them could become a tier 10 within that time, he would take him or her to the fourth-dimensional space.

Outside Ethan’s villa:

”We will count to ten. If you don’t reply within that time, we will declare you an enemy of the empire. The whole empire will come after you.”

They started counting backward from ten to one.

But Ethan had already entered his deep cultivation session.

They became extremely angry at not receiving any face from this unknown cultivator. They were ruler-class people, after all.

”Attack!”

Their leader roared.

They all attacked the gate of Ethan’s estate at the same time.

But as soon as they attacked, their own spell reverted back to them with twice the force.

It was a simple barrier Ethan had cast that reflected the enemy’s attack with double strength.

”Use defensive magic!” They all became frightened by the sudden counterattack.

Though they used barrier magic to defend themselves, they were caught off guard.

So it injured them badly.

”Retreat for now. We need to let His Majesty know about this new enemy of the empire.”

They retreated from there.

In the Demon Empire:

The little demoness appeared at the gate. As soon as she appeared, the guards became ecstatic because the emperor had gone berserk ever since the princess vanished.

He had given all the guards an ultimatum that he would purge the entire battalion of royal demon soldiers if they couldn’t find her soon.

”We welcome Princess Celcia on her safe return. May the Demon God bless her,” the guards knelt down on the ground and greeted her.

Celcia was still in a daze, but then she finally understood where she was. It was the entrance of the Geymar Empire.

”Escort me to my father,” she instantly regained her princess demeanor and ordered the guards.

She was then escorted back to the royal capital of the empire where the Demon Palace was located.

The moment she arrived, her father noticed her presence and instantly appeared in front of the escort team.

”Celcia!” He hugged her tightly while tears rolled down his face.

After a while, Celcia went inside the palace and started recounting everything that had happened to her.

She hadn’t been lost — she had been kidnapped. The Elven Emperor had kidnapped her. He wanted to make her a furnace. But somehow, she managed to escape from there.

And then she was chased by those old men of the empire.

It was thanks to the treasures her father had given her that she was able to run from them.

As she recounted these incidents, her father Leon clenched his fist. It was clenched so tightly that blood started to flow.

”General Timber, declare war against the Elven Empire,” Leon calmly ordered.

General Timber was one of the emperor’s closest associates. He didn’t have any children, so he loved Celcia like his own daughter.

When Leon was boiling with anger, Timber felt the same after hearing what had happened.

”Sire, I have already arranged the soldiers. When do we depart?” Timber replied instantly. He was already prepared to start the war even without Leon’s order.

”We will depart in 30 minutes. Let me listen to her story fully first.”

Celcia was shocked when she heard her father was going to start a war.

”Father, please don’t do this. The man who saved me also lives there. He even taught me a supreme sword art that isn’t comparable to any sword technique I’ve ever learned,” Celcia said immediately.

”Oh? Tell me more about him,” Leon’s interest was piqued.

”I don’t know much about him. I was running from them and entered a forest. There, I saw a luxurious house surrounded by magnificent walls. I went there and asked for help after giving my introduction.”

Celcia slowly recalled everything she had seen there.

Ethan didn’t restrict her because she belonged to a powerful background, unlike Ron, who was from a mortal family.

That’s why she could tell everything she had seen there.

As she described it, both Leon and Timber stood in sheer shock.

”Maybe the princess dreamt such a thing. It is nothing but a fairy tale. She was scared, and maybe that’s why she created this illusion for herself?” Timber analyzed hurriedly.

But for some reason, they felt it was the truth. How did this girl suddenly appear in front of the gate out of nowhere if she hadn’t received help?

”Timber, hold the war for now. Let’s investigate this matter first. If she is telling the truth, that person might be a very, very powerful being. We need to handle this matter delicately.”

”I agree with you, sire.”

”Father, I will go back there after learning this technique. You can come with me at that time,” Celcia said confidently.

”Alright then. Show me the technique.”

Twenty-five days later.

Ethan opened his eyes from his cultivation session.

He looked outside.

At that moment, two emperor-ranked demons were coming with the little demoness from one direction, and Ron was coming from another direction.

”They both learned it? And that little girl has even brought her guardians?”

Both Leon and Timber had immense fear and respect in their eyes at that moment. They had seen the sword technique, and no one from this world was capable of creating such a supreme technique — and that was only level one.

The person who had taught this to Celcia must be an immortal.

They arrived in front of the gate and bowed.

”Sir, thank you for saving my daughter that day. I am eternally grateful to you. How can I repay your kindness?” Leon asked with absolute humbleness.

But Ethan didn’t even look at him. Instead, he asked Celcia, ”Have you learned the technique?”

”Yes, sir, I have. May I show you?” Celcia asked excitedly.

”Wait, another one is coming. You both will spar. The winner will get the ultimate prize.”
