My attributes are increasing infinitely

Chapter 332: Unexpected reward

Outside, every guardian stood up from their seats in confusion.

”What’s going on? How is he climbing so fast?”

Ethan had already reached the 12th level in just 12 minutes.

Ethan was very slow till now, having only cleared 2 floors in 10 minutes, and they assumed the boy would soon be forced to exit. But now, in a mere 2 minutes, he had crossed over 10 more floors. It was simply unfathomable.

The others had barely reached the 6th floor, while the outsider was stuck on the 8th.

None could comprehend what was happening.

As they debated the impossibility of the situation, Ethan cleared two more levels.

In reality, he was testing how quickly he could ascend if he didn’t waste any time and simply destroyed the floor guardians.

”Alright, Yumiko, get ready. We’ll activate the form, eliminate the guardians, and then cancel it immediately. You need to be extremely precise, not wasting even a second.”

[Master, activating, killing, and stopping will take 2 seconds if no unexpected issues arise.]

”That means we should be able to clear 10 to 15 guardians if all goes as planned. However, I won’t take any chances. I’ll clear up to level 25 using only my own power.”

”We’ll reserve the form for the last 11 floors on the 5th day. If anything goes wrong, we’ll just kill even faster, and you’ll need to adjust the timing of the form to minimize time loss,” Ethan and Yumiko strategized.

[Understood, Master. I won’t disappoint you again.]

Ethan continued ascending, soon clearing the 15th floor. On this floor, the guardian possessed power at the fourth-dimensional level without any seals.

[Congratulations on clearing the 15th floor. You may choose one gift from the following options:

Sacred Fruit

Sacred Technique

Sacred Weapon

You may select only one.]

As the notification appeared before him, Ethan felt both surprised and uneasy. The appearance of a gift likely meant the power system would change on the next floor. Ideally, he wanted no gifts at all in exchange for maintaining the current system.

However, he had nothing in his possession within this tower—his entire plan hinged on this moment. Even his almighty system had no information about it.

He had to choose something that would aid him right now.

He chose to see their descriptions first.

[Sacred Fruit: Increases your power by 1 million times permanently. Each fruit has additional unique properties.]

[Sacred Techniques: Grants a 10,000 times amplification if mastered to the max level, can be used till the 20th dimensional level.]

[Sacred Weapon: Provides a 10,000 times boost in power up to the 15th dimensional level.]

Ethan’s eyes widened.

The fruit would immediately boost his strength, giving him enough power to reach several more levels. The weapon and technique, however, offered future potential.

His Sword of Infinity was far superior to any weapon the tower might offer, so that was an easy decision. But the technique... He had infinite comprehension, which could allow him to master the technique and possibly amplify his power even more than the fruit.

He was caught in a dilemma. Should he choose the fruit or the technique?

”Yumiko, what do you think?” he asked.

[Master, my understanding of your infinite comprehension ability is limited. I can’t provide a definitive answer. But based on my experience, the fruit would give you a large immediate boost, whereas the technique could prove more useful in the long term.

In ”The Tyrant of The Fourth Dimension” form the effect of the fruit will be vanished, but the technique can still be used.So I would suggest going with the technique.]

Ethan nodded, thinking it through. The fruit would help now, but the technique might prove invaluable.

”Okay. I’ll choose a sword technique. Let’s see what my talent can uncover.”

He selected the technique option.

[1. Mystical Technique

2. Weapon Technique

3. Elemental Technique]

Ethan chose the mystical technique section to see what were those.

After watching their properties he dismissed them. Those techniques worked with the fate and karma, which he didn’t need right now. His system was enough for those type of things.

Ethan chose the weapon technique to explore his options.

[1. Sword of Doom

2. Eternal Slash

3. Oblivion Requiem

4. Temporal Slash

5. Karmic Slash]

Before making his choice, Ethan read the descriptions:

Sword of Doom

A blade strike that tears through dimensions, shattering reality itself along its path. The mere aura of the sword warps space, bending fate and crushing all life in its vicinity.

Eternal Slash

Slices through time and infinity, striking targets across realms and planes simultaneously. Leaves a residual energy rift that lingers for eons, cutting anything that crosses it.

Oblivion Requiem

An ultimate annihilation technique that erases existence, consuming matter, energy, and even concepts. Its resonance instills cosmic despair, as if the universe itself mourns the victim’s end.

Temporal Slash

Manipulates the flow of time around the target, aging, freezing, or reversing reality in an instant. Each strike can create temporal echoes that strike across multiple timelines, collapsing causality.

Karmic Slash

Channels the balance of universal justice, punishing beings according to their deeds across all dimensions. The blade’s power amplifies with the weight of sins, capable of severing even immortal or godly entities.

”Whoa. These techniques are really supreme tier,” Ethan murmured, impressed by the descriptions. His arsenal had only one technique worth mentioning which was Extinction, his most powerful technique, which provided a 50x amplification. Now, it was time to level up.

He considered his choices carefully. The other techniques seemed suited for fighting across multidimensions, timelines, and realities. But Ethan’s next opponents would be the floor guardians of the Tower of Ascension.

He wasn’t sure what these guardians truly were—perhaps beings beyond even the origin realm. What if one of his attacks reached their original bodies and they erased him from existence with a mere thought?

For this reason, Oblivion Requiem was the best choice. It focused on annihilating the enemy in front of him, rather than their karmic bonds.

He selected Oblivion Requiem.

As soon as he made his choice, an ancient scroll appeared before him. Ethan unfurled it and read the contents.

[Ding! Infinite Comprehension has activated. You have acquired a sword technique. Would you like to learn it?]

”Ah, yes,” Ethan said, his voice filled with nostalgia. He hadn’t learned many techniques, always overwhelming his enemies with sheer strength. So after a long time he was hearing this sound from the system again.

[Ding! Oblivion Requiem has evolved into Singularity Requiem.]

Ethan pressed on the new technique to view its properties.

Singularity Requiem: The strike unravels not only matter but also concepts, memories, and the laws of creation itself, compressing all existence into nothingness and annihilating the very notion of being.

Power Amplification:

Level 1: 1000x

Level 2: 10,000x

Level 3: 100,000x

Level 4: 1,000,000x

Ethan breathed a sigh of relief. The technique provided a maximum boost of 1 million times, confirming that choosing it was the right decision.

He quickly calculated his power: in five days, his power would increase 32-fold, reaching 4.224 billion gray seals. With his Sword of Infinity, which would provide a 1 million times boost, and Singularity Requiem, his total power amplification would reach 1 trillion times.

On top of that, his ”Supreme One” physique would give him another 1000 times boost.

With a total of 1 quadrillion times his current power, he would reach 4224 Dark Brown Seals—it would be a tremendous power but still behind the most powerful being at this level, but more than enough to guarantee victory up to the 26th floor.

”Let’s see what lies beyond,” Ethan murmured, vanishing from his position and entering the 16th floor.
