Chapter 323: Inverse Dungeon

Alexander moved at a very fast speed because he was afraid that Elindros might attack them on the way. So they reached the capital of the Kingdom of Anatolia, which was 10000 km away from that city, within 5 minutes.

He had protected Ethan, Alex and Erina with his energy.

Though it was the fastest speed Erina or Alex had ever experienced, for Ethan the speed felt slower than a snail.

He used the chance to observe everything on the way. There were many dungeons scattered across the land. Some had large entrances, some had smaller ones.

He planned to visit them once he settled down in the Aurelion family.

Boom.

All five of them landed on the ground.

”We welcome back grand master and young master.”

The soldiers stationed there bowed as soon as they landed.

Soon the entire Aurelion family came outside to see whom Alexander, the ancestor of the family, had brought with him.

Ethan stood calmly. Alex observed everything with careful interest. Erina was the most nervous of them all.

”Erina, are you alright?” Eva came to her with worried eyes. The moment she heard the ancestor had taken action personally, her mind had been in complete turmoil from fear for her husband and little sister.

”Yes sis. I am fine.” Erina answered quietly.

Then she looked at her husband and saw signs of injury on him.

She rushed toward him.

”Are you alright, lord Samael?” she asked.

Samael nodded slightly.

Only then did Eva release a sigh of relief and look at the two unknown young men.

”Father, who is the one?” asked a handsome middle aged man. He was Eric Aurelion, the current head of the family and Alexander’s eldest son and also Samael’s father.

Alexander looked toward Alex.

”He is the one. Make arrangements for two bedrooms.”

”Two? Why? Who is the other one?” Eric asked curiously. They only knew their father had gone to bring back an SSS rank talent.

”He is Ethan. From today onward he will be one of the Aurelions and a core member. Samael will fill you in about the situation. I am going to my room.”

Alexander left after saying that.

”Brother, that old man just left us with a bunch of unknown dudes. Do you think he is kind of irresponsible?” Alex whispered.

But everyone in the family was stronger than him, so they heard him clearly. Alexander’s mouth twitched, but he said nothing. Geniuses had their own eccentric way of expressing themselves.

Ethan looked at Alex with disdain.

”Get the fuck off. Do not drag me with you by saying that bullshit. I do not know you.”

He looked away.

”What are you talking about?” Alex was confused at first, but then he felt a chill on his back.

He looked around and saw hundreds of cold eyes fixed on him.

A maid came near him and said in a cold tone,

”Please young master follow me to your room.”

Ethan waved his hand.

”Bye bye. Best of luck for your upcoming days.”

Alex was still a newbie. He had just gotten the system. Life had many lessons waiting for him.

After Alex left with the maid, Ethan felt someone tap his shoulder.

He turned around to see the person and instantly his mind went blank.

Rose was standing in front of him. A smile was fighting to form on his face, but he held it back.

”Hey kid, I heard you stood up for my family. For a low grade talent, you have real courage. What do you say? Want to become my lackey? I am the most beautiful girl in the kingdom. This is your once in a lifetime opportunity.” Rose said proudly.

Ethan became speechless. He already had some idea about this version of Rose. She was narcissistic to the extreme. Whatever else she was, he would learn slowly.

”No thank you. I am not interested in catching unwanted attention by becoming the lackey of the most beautiful girl in the kingdom.” Ethan refused instantly.

”Hahahahahahaha. Rose, I cannot believe he rejected you so directly.” Eva burst into laughter.

Even Erina covered her mouth while smiling.

Rose felt like a mosquito had flown into her mouth.

Had this average looking, low grade talented boy just rejected her? She could not believe it.

”Kid, I must have heard wrongly. Would you repeat that again?”

”Maam, can you please ask someone to show me my room? I am very tired.” Ethan said to Eva while cupping his hand.

Even Eva was not prepared for this. Someone at Ethan’s age had enough self control to reject Rose? How could that be?The boy’s lower body must have been completely defected.

Eva thought this for a moment, then quickly asked a maid to guide him to his room.

Ethan brushed past Rose and gave her a look full of disdain.

”There is no way I will let you satisfy your narcissistic ego. Otherwise how can I get your attention?” Ethan laughed inwardly.

Rose stood there like a stunned chicken. Never in her sixteen years had she experienced something like this. Everywhere she went, people groveled to please her.

But for the first time someone rejected her harshly and ignored her completely. She could not swallow this humiliation.

”Grandpa, please order that boy to be my lackey.” Rose shouted at the top of her lungs.

Alexander appeared in front of her.

”What happened to my princess? Who upset her?”

Rose began crying like a crocodile.

”Grandpa, that new boy you brought rejected my offer to be my lackey. Please give him a family decree so he has to follow it.” Rose said in a coquettish tone.

Alexander sighed. He had also seen how that brat ignored his precious granddaughter. His granddaughter was so beautiful that he always kept guards so no one could snatch her away, but that brat ignored her completely.

”Alright, I will teach him a lesson. You go first.”

Alarm. Alarm. Alarm.

The entire city went into red alert.

”What happened? S rank dungeon break?” Alexander asked a guard.

”Grand master, an inverse red dungeon has appeared in the city.” the guard said with a shaky voice.

”What? Inverse dungeon? In this city?”

Ethan had not gone far, so he heard it too.

”What is an inverse dungeon?”

[Master, an inverse dungeon appears as an F to C grade dungeon. But only someone below 18 years old can enter it.

Fifty years ago one appeared in the empire. It was the first inverse dungeon the world had ever seen. Because only hunters below 18 could enter, guardians refused to let their children go inside to close it.

They thought that even if it broke, only low level monsters would appear and they could handle them easily.

But twelve hours later the dungeon turned into an SSS tier dungeon and broke instantly.

It became the most devastating event in the empire’s history. An entire kingdom was destroyed along with all its SS+ and below hunters.

Finally the Hunter Association president acted personally to stop the disaster.]

”So basically, if hunters below eighteen do not clear it within twelve hours, it will turn into an SSS grade dungeon before breaking out?”

[Yes master]

”Interesting. Let us see what decision they take this time.” Ethan muttered.

”Grandpa, I will go.” Rose suddenly said, her childish tone replaced by seriousness.

”We will go too.” the other young members of the family added. They knew the rules of the inverse dungeon.

Alexander looked at them helplessly.

They had no choice. The younger generation had to act, or the kingdom might vanish today.
