Chapter 314: Treasure

Like her, many higher empires were setting their eyes on this elven empire.

In the elf empire where that village was,

”Your majesty, we should send our highest class maguses there. That place is very dangerous. Ten of our magus kings had fallen there. We still don’t know the exact reason. I heard there is a house in that forest.”

The elf emperor was looking very solemn at this moment.

”Do you think things would be so easy? The entire world has seen this light. I bet those supreme empires from all the races are going to come here soon. Do you think we will stand a chance against them?”

The general, who was also a magus emperor, stopped instantly. He also knew those supreme empires had many existences at their ancestor’s level, and their top powerhouses were beyond his comprehension.

”Don’t worry. If we don’t act against them and take the treasure for ourselves, we have nothing to fear.

And that light was immense. A treasure of that level is not something we have the right to possess. Let those top brass fight each other. If we go there, we will be just cannon fodder.”

While this was going on, five more days passed.

Ethan suddenly opened his eyes. There were many powerful beings coming to this location from different directions.

He even heard their conversations about a treasure appearing here.

Ethan couldn’t help but smile a bit. It would be fun. Though there was no real treasure, he could create one.

He could create a sacred place and a treasure there.

Suddenly he remembered the story of the sword in the stone.

He would create a tier 3 sword, which was the highest level this world could hold without suppression. Then he would put it in a stone with a line:

”Only the worthy one can wield it.”

”Hahaha. Let’s create another protagonist, the third protagonist. This sword will be his gift. It will guide him along the way and will also evolve with him or her.”

Suddenly Ethan thought something odd.

”I am becoming weirder day by day. After someone reaches the top power level, they start to feel lonely. So they need new sources of entertainment.” Ethan could now understand why those powerful beings would create trials so hard that only the protagonist with a cheat could get through them.

It was to have some fun in the process.

”I should ascend to the fourth dimension soon, or else I’ll become an old geezer soon.”

Ethan waved his hand, and a huge lake appeared in the middle of the forest. At the center of that lake was a stone altar, and a mythical sword was plunged there.

It was radiating a supreme sword aura, so if someone even wanted to go near it, they would have to have pure love for the sword.

Then he forbade both Ron and Celcia to have this. It wouldn’t react to them even if they had pure love for the sword.

He wanted a new protagonist to wield this sword this time.

And the last requirement was that the person must be below tier one.

After everything was settled, he started eating the food Aurora made for him. That man was really good at cooking.

After finishing the meal, he also went out to see the competition personally.

Aurora also tagged along with him.

”Master, did you create this place?” Aurora asked, pointing at the lake.

Ethan didn’t agree nor decline. He just smiled. Aurora also didn’t ask any further.

Suddenly he saw twenty-three flying ships appear in the sky.

Aurora sensed them from the moment they entered the range of the forest.

Ethan was standing there with his hands behind his back, and Aurora was standing beside him eating a spiritual apple.

Over two hundred people came down from those flying ships.

The highest being was tier 1, and they were from different races.

They were all looking at the white jade-like sword at the center of the lake.

Almost drool came out of their mouths when they saw it. Almost everyone ignored Ethan and Aurora like they simply didn’t exist there.

”Ancestor, we should prepare for a life-and-death battle. That sword must enter our empire. With that, we will become the strongest empire in this world.” Everyone of those emperors was talking to the old men beside them.

But not a single old man said anything. They were looking at Ethan and Aurora with vigilance.

At first, they didn’t even sense their presence, but now somehow both of them were there.

And the most terrifying thing was that they were seeing them but still couldn’t feel their presence.

”Two supreme existences. Why are they not taking action? Are they waiting for their faction to come first?” those ancestors thought.

Suddenly one of the wolfman ancestors gathered his courage and asked loudly,

”Fellow daoist, why haven’t you taken any action yet? Don’t you like that sword?”

Everyone gave him a thumbs-up for his bravery.

Aurora looked at the old wolfman calmly and said,

”Only people below tier 1 can enter there.” He stopped after saying that.

”Is that so?” They all looked at the writing below it.

They hadn’t noticed it earlier because of their intense excitement.

Immediately they started choosing the best swordsman in their race who was not tier 1.

Some couldn’t control their urge and tried to enter without having love for the sword.

So they couldn’t even enter the near circle of the sword.

Only after that did people believe that the writing below was real.

This news spread like wildfire all over the world.

The supreme empires still hadn’t arrived yet, and they also heard the news. Now they needed to replan their approach. They needed to find out the best swordsman.

Only in the supreme fox empire did their empress, Noelle, show disdain toward the news.

”I don’t believe any weapon in this world can restrict me if I want to have it.” She was a tier 3 existence, the very pinnacle powerhouse of this world, and that was where her confidence came from.

Ethan watched for a while and soon got bored.

There was literally no worthy person, so he went home.

”Aurora, build an inn in that village so that people can spend their nights there. I’m guessing more and more people will come to test out their luck.” With that, Ethan left.

Just as he was about to enter the estate, he felt the aura of a tier 3 existence, and it was a fox woman who looked arrogant to the extreme.

”Oho, I think I’ll wait here after all,” Ethan thought with amusement.

Noelle landed on the ground with royal demeanor.

Her eyes were cold and chilling.

As soon as she appeared, those ancestors knelt down on the ground.

”We welcome Lady Noelle to this place. We are honored to be in your presence,” they shouted together.

Noelle didn’t look at anyone. She started walking toward the altar.

Some old man was about to say the rule that no one above emperor realm could enter there, but Noelle gave him a cold look, and the man stopped instantly.

Ethan snapped his fingers and made some twists in the law. Now Noelle was allowed inside, but she wasn’t allowed to wield it.

”Let’s see her reaction now!” Ethan grinned with an evil smile.
