Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 124: Chapter 123: Spare Me If I Sleep With You For The Night

Suppressing her urge to cry, Nia Mitchell tightly pursed her lips without making a sound, allowing Maxwell Peary to tease her on the other end of the line.

”If you find shopping unsatisfactory, you can ask Evelyn Peary to accompany you. As soon as that girl hears the word ’shopping,’ she gets so excited she’s practically beside herself. She definitely won’t turn you down.”

Maxwell Peary curled his lips, seeming to already envision the scene of Nia Mitchell and Evelyn Peary shopping together, feeling gratified.

”But don’t complain about being tired later. Although, if you do get tired, it’s okay; just remember to call me. I’ll come pick you up.”

Maxwell Peary sat down on the sofa. After such a long meeting, he figured he should chat a bit with his dear little wife and allow himself a moment of idleness.

Nia Mitchell couldn’t help but shed tears, covering her mouth to suppress even the slightest sound.

Hendry Hampton and his father noticed her unusual behavior, somewhat baffled.

Hendry Hampton came over and wickedly smiled at Nia Mitchell. ”Nia Mitchell, if you’re willing to spend the night with me, I’ll ensure a swift resolution for you.”

Once the words were out, he extended his hand and touched Nia Mitchell’s face.

Nia Mitchell was so frightened that she stumbled backward several steps, until she plopped down onto the bench.

Before she could even think of a word to retort to Hendry Hampton, Maxwell Peary’s roar came through the phone.

”Nia Mitchell, where are you? Who was speaking just now?!”

Maxwell Peary shot up from the sofa, his handsome face ashen with fury.

”I... I... BEEP... BEEP...”

Before Nia Mitchell could say anything, her phone was violently swatted away by Hendry Hampton, smashing it to pieces.

”What are you doing?!”

Nia Mitchell screamed. How could he break her phone?

She had never realized before just how awful this Hendry Hampton was.

”Humph! Talking on the phone while I’m speaking to you? Do you want to resolve this matter or not? You should know, you’re the one begging me right now.”

Nia Mitchell’s eyes widened in shock. Where did he get the notion that she was begging him?

”I’m begging you? You’re dreaming.”

Nia Mitchell was fuming, unable to leave the Hospital, completely unaware that someone in the Office Room was already frantic with worry.

When Maxwell Peary had stood up from the sofa and started questioning her, the call had unexpectedly disconnected. He dialed again, only to be informed that the phone was off.

Furious, he kicked over the coffee table in front of him and dialed Alan Morgan’s number.

”I want to know where Nia Mitchell is right now! Immediately!”

He hung up with a sharp click. Maxwell Peary quickly left the Office Room and entered the elevator. By the time he reached the Underground Garage, Alan Morgan’s call had already come through.

”She’s in the First People’s Hospital.”

Maxwell Peary quickly got into the car and sped towards the Hospital.

However, before he even arrived, the Hospital was already in utter chaos.

Nia Mitchell swallowed nervously, looking at the men surrounding her. They were all holding guns, dressed in Camouflage Suits—clearly soldiers.

However, these men weren’t there to apprehend any Terrorists. Instead, they positioned themselves around Nia Mitchell, forming a semicircle with her at its center.

Each of them had their handguns aimed at Hendry Hampton and his father, as well as at any passing Doctor or Nurse.

This scene... it was all too fucking familiar.

Hadn’t they just gone through this a few days ago at the Police Bureau?

Nia Mitchell suspected this had to be Maxwell Peary’s doing.

”Are you okay?”

A man’s voice came from above her. Nia Mitchell looked up.

His eyebrows were sharp as swords, his gaze eagle-like, and his nose high. Radiating masculinity from head to toe, he was utterly dashing.

His healthy, wheat-colored skin highlighted his firm contours, and his Military Uniform perfectly showcased his spirited demeanor.

Nia Mitchell, influenced by her bestie Fiona Sutton’s admiration for soldiers, had always held them in high regard. But she’d never imagined soldiers could be so incredibly handsome.
