Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 55: Chapter 55: Tortured Badly

「The next day,」 within the Royal Bay Villa, the black-and-white Main Bedroom was washed with sunlight streaming through the swaying curtains onto the grey king-size bed.

Maxwell Peary, breakfast in hand, pushed open the bedroom door. He found a lump on the bed, and an unfamiliar emotion stirred within him.

He quietly walked over and casually placed the breakfast on the table.

”Time to get up.”

Maxwell Peary climbed onto the bed and sat beside her, nodding as he carefully studied her sleeping face.

Nia Mitchell twitched uncomfortably, let out a soft grunt, shifted her sleeping position, and continued to sleep.

”Mrs. Peary?”

So noisy, Nia Mitchell thought, weakly slapping the air in front of her. She smacked her lips and continued to sleep.

Seeing her sleep so soundly, Maxwell Peary didn’t have the heart to wake her. After all, they had been up quite late the night before, leaving her with only a few hours of sleep.

But sleeping on an empty stomach might make her uncomfortable, he thought. After some consideration, he decided to wake her up.

”Wake up, sweetheart.”

He gently poked her chubby cheek. Nia Mitchell finally, reluctantly, opened her hazy eyes.

”Hmm?”

For a moment, unsure where or when she was, Nia Mitchell stretched lazily and was about to get out of bed.

HISSS...

Nia Mitchell immediately grimaced. Ugh, it really hurt down there. A blush quickly spread across her face as images from the previous night flooded her mind. Turning her head, she saw Maxwell Peary sitting there with a teasing smile.

”Ah!”

Nia Mitchell quickly pulled the covers over her face. Last night... they had done so many embarrassing things. No wonder she now had an aching back and felt uncomfortable all over.

The main point was, it really hurt down there too.

Humph! She had begged for mercy last night, but he had relentlessly persisted, again and again...

”Don’t suffocate my wife under there. Come and eat breakfast,” Maxwell Peary gently pulled the covers off her. He smiled at the sight of her flushed little face, then got up to bring the breakfast over.

”Here, these are all your favorites.”

Nia Mitchell sat up in bed, eyeing the Millet Porridge, Steamed Dumplings, dumplings, and fried dumplings Maxwell Peary had brought over.

”I haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”

She hadn’t even washed up yet! she thought, pouting. As she said this, she prepared to get out of bed, but her legs felt weak, and she stumbled, nearly falling.

”Be careful.”

Maxwell Peary quickly caught her soft body, his eyes holding a hint of reprimand as he looked at her.

Nia Mitchell pouted. ”It’s still your fault! If you’d been more... more... more restrained last night, I wouldn’t be like this.”

Maxwell Peary chuckled softly. ”Yes, yes, it’s my fault. I’ll definitely exercise more restraint in the future.”

Nia Mitchell was at a loss for words, her face turning beet red.

”I want to eat a Steamed Dumpling.”

Nia Mitchell opened her mouth, and Maxwell Peary obligingly picked up a Steamed Dumpling and fed it to her.

”It’s delicious! Uncle Peary, you have one too.”

Nia Mitchell also picked up a Steamed Dumpling and offered it to Maxwell Peary’s lips. He frowned and hesitated for a long moment before finally opening his mouth.

”Is it good?”

Nia Mitchell watched him anxiously, hoping for the answer she wanted.

”It’s delicious.”

Smiling and nodding, Maxwell Peary stroked her head affectionately, a hint of pity in his eyes.

”Does it still hurt?”

Nia Mitchell looked embarrassed. She had wanted to shake her head, but she was indeed still in some pain, so she ended up nodding.

”We had originally planned to go on our honeymoon today.”

Maxwell Peary shook his head and sighed. His Mrs. Peary is having trouble even getting out of bed. What kind of honeymoon can they have now?

”Let’s not go. I just want to sleep.”

Nia Mitchell yawned after speaking, her eyes drowsy and slightly teary.

She reached out to get more breakfast. She hadn’t felt hungry while sleeping, but now that she was awake, she realized she was famished.

”No honeymoon? Is that really okay?”

Maxwell Peary brushed away a strand of hair that had fallen onto her face, his eyes filled with tender concern.

”Can we go another time when we’re free, okay?”
