Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 244: Chapter 244: I took a big loss today!

It didn’t take long for the waiter to bring over two bottles of Moutai and a case of beer.

Gao Feng nodded his approval, instructing the waiter to set the Moutai and beer on the table, then resumed chatting with Zhao Bingqian and the other ladies.

However, what frustrated him was that these four beauties didn’t seem to care much for his topics of conversation. Instead, they giggled merrily at Ye Haochuan’s witty interjections from time to time.

Even his own girlfriend, Guo Rong, couldn’t stop laughing.

Damn it, what’s so great about Ye Haochuan? Besides being a bit handsome and funny, how is he better than me?

Gao Feng silently seethed with various forms of annoyance.

Just then, he suddenly heard Ye Haochuan mention him, and he tensed up at once.

”Brother Gao Feng truly has a generous spirit. I, Ye Haochuan, grew up in an orphanage and have never experienced such an extravagant meal before. More than a hundred and thirty thousand, just thinking about it makes my flesh ache. Yet Brother Gao Feng barely blinked and took care of it—such magnanimity, such passion are truly a role model for us lower-class lads!” Ye Haochuan praised to the extreme. After all, there’s no tax on big talk, so he just carried on as he pleased.

Listening to Ye Haochuan’s flattering words, Gao Feng appeared to laugh it off. But deep down, he really wanted to curse. That over one hundred and thirty thousand was paid by him; the pain was felt by him. What the hell does it have to do with you?

The more he thought about it, the hotter his temper grew, and he even began to realize that he might have been played for a fool.

Think about it, that BMW repair alone cost him a loss of two hundred and thirty thousand. This loser’s power was ridiculously strong.

And now, this meal had made him bleed more than a hundred and thirty thousand, which was also terrifyingly expensive. Even a Manchu Han Imperial Feast would not cost this much, right?

Recalling earlier, when he did not have enough cash at the counter to pay the bill and was ultimately forced to discreetly pawn his Rolex watch, he couldn’t get much angrier.

So, after pondering back and forth, he decided he needed to reclaim some territory. If not finding a way to hook up with Zhao Bingqian, this group of charming and gorgeous women for a romp in bed, at the very least, he needed to give a good thrashing to Ye Haochuan, the impoverished loser.

If he wanted to thrash him, the first step was to get him drunk. Let’s vent some anger!

The wait might have been a bit long, but at eleven o’clock, the waiter began to serve the dishes.

It had to be said that the food from this five-star hotel indeed met the mark – full of color, aroma, and flavor. Even before they began to eat, everyone was salivating and could barely hold back.

After the third course, Gao Feng felt it was about time to start the drinking.

However, none of the girls present, including Guo Rong, wanted to drink alcohol. They either chose soft drinks or buckwheat tea.

Seeing this, Gao Feng knew his lurid plans would not succeed, and thus he redirected his anger towards Ye Haochuan, raising his voice, ”Brother Haichuan, it’s reasonable if the ladies don’t want to drink, but you’re a man. Surely, you won’t deny me the honor?”

”Well... Brother Gao Feng, I can drink a little, but I can’t drink much. I still have to drive,” Ye Haochuan said, feigning difficulty.

”No problem, we can just drink a little. As for driving, it’s easy, I’ll call a designated driver later to take you home,” Gao Feng encouraged, ”Here, I’ll drink to show my respect first!”

After saying that, Gao Feng tilted back his head and downed a glass of Moutai Liquor in one gulp.

Seeing his actions and how unfazed he appeared, Ye Haochuan knew this Little Chap was a seasoned drinker. Not to be underestimated, but what a pity, you’ve crossed paths with me, my unlucky friend!

With this in mind, Ye Haochuan put on a begrudging face and slowly, after much delay, finally managed to down a glass.

Given his alcohol tolerance, he of course was not easily affected, but as a person from the Martial Arts Path Realm, such a small matter didn’t trouble him. As soon as the liquor went down his throat, he used his Longevity True Qi to neutralize the alcohol contained within.

Seeing his reaction, Gao Feng laughed heartily, ”That’s more like it! Come on, let’s have another one. It’s good luck to double up.”

With that, he filled up his own glass again, and then poured another one for Ye Haochuan.

”Brother Gao Feng, my tolerance is terrible, I can’t drink anymore,” Ye Haochuan said with a pained expression.

”A man’s drinking capacity may not be great; that’s okay, just take it slow and train up, but one must have good drinking etiquette. Come on, continue,” Gao Feng downed another glass.

Having no choice, Ye Haochuan reluctantly accepted and downed another glass in one go.

And so, within a short ten minutes, Ye Haochuan had been made to drink who knows how many glasses by Gao Feng.

However, what was strange was that although Ye Haochuan’s face was red, he wasn’t out of breath at all and seemed like nothing was wrong.

In contrast, Gao Feng himself was clearly drifting off, and when he spoke, his tongue wasn’t quite straight: ”Okay, let’s finish this bottle and open another bottle of Moutai!”

There was a restaurant waiter nearby who immediately stepped forward and opened another bottle of Moutai.

Gao Feng started pouring for himself and Ye Haochuan again, continuing to urge him to drink. Ye Haochuan pretended to be drunk and accepted all comers.

Before long, another bottle of Moutai was empty.

Originally, Gao Feng had been waiting to see Ye Haochuan make a fool of himself, but to his complete surprise, the chap didn’t fall over and was speaking much more coherently than himself.

It was at this point that Gao Feng realized he’d encountered someone pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger. He intended to deal with him harshly once more, but just then the alcohol hit him hard and his stomach began to churn.

Left with no choice, he had to make a trip to the bathroom. After a bout of both vomiting and diarrhea, he returned looking utterly drained, collapsing into his chair, deflated and gasping for air.

At this time, Ye Haochuan also ”staggered” to his feet with the support of Zhao Bingqian and Zhang Ziyi, and came to Gao Feng, saying, ”Brother Gao Feng, I seem to be a bit too tipsy, gotta head back now. Another day I’ll host you to a barbecue, and I’ll make sure you eat your fill!”

Barbecue again? Damn, how could that bit of money compare to the more than 130,000 of mine?

Gao Feng was beyond speechless. Originally, he felt like exploding in anger, but at this moment, he was willing but powerless. He could only watch helplessly as Ye Haochuan, surrounded and supported by four beautiful women, left the private room.

”Damn it, I’ve taken a huge loss today!”

That was the last coherent thought Gao Feng had as the alcohol overwhelmed him.

After emerging from the private room and exiting the restaurant, Ye Haochuan completely shook off his pretense of deflation, laughing heartily and full of energy.

Knowing this would happen, the four women including Zhao Bingqian couldn’t help but laugh.

They chatted and laughed for a while as they made their way toward the parking area.

Zhao Bingqian deliberately fell behind and, while Zhang Ziyi and the other two women weren’t paying attention, leaned in close to Ye Haochuan’s ear and said in a low voice, ”I did a pretty good job backing you up today, didn’t I?”

”Not bad, not bad at all,” Ye Haochuan responded with a thumbs-up and a smile.

”So how will you reward me?” Zhao Bingqian said with an expectant look on her face.

”How do you want me to reward you?” Seeing her flirtatious attitude, Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”It wouldn’t be...”

”Tch!” Zhao Bingqian spat at him with a blush, full of coy annoyance, ”I don’t care, but you have to help me ’put out a fire’ tonight.”

”Sure! My ’fire hose’ is really big, so putting out your fire will be a piece of cake.” Ye Haochuan said with a grin, ”Don’t worry, as soon as I’m done with Old Master Xiao’s birthday party, I’ll be right over to put out your fire, heh heh!”

”Then that’s settled,” Zhao Bingqian said with a flushed face, then quickly caught up with the other three sisters.

Watching her twist her graceful body away, Ye Haochuan shook his head. That Little Sprite, she’s really something!
