Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 205: Chapter 205 Damn, I’m a Genius

Ye Haochuan took the lunchbox, lifted the lid, and found rice, along with three dishes: potato slices, celery with shredded pork, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes—all his favorites.

Moreover, it was apparent that these dishes hadn’t been prepared by the cafeteria chef; they resembled Han Xue’er’s cooking.

”Xue’er, I didn’t see it coming. You really know the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” he said with a laugh.

Ye Haochuan smiled.

Han Xue’er replied shyly, ”I’m not really...”

”So young, and already so modest,” Ye Haochuan said as he gently patted her adorable little head. ”It seems I made no mistake in marrying you as my daughter-in-law.”

Han Xue’er lowered her little head, looking infinitely joyful and adorable, but Ye Haochuan didn’t see the mist of tears welling up in her eyes.

After confirming that she had already eaten, Ye Haochuan started eating. He lowered his head, tasted a bite, and his eyes lit up with praise for the delicious flavor.

Then, in no time at all, he wolfed down the contents of the lunchbox until it was all gone.

”Delicious, truly damn delicious. Xue’er, my daughter-in-law, I’m leaving my stomach in your care from now on,” Ye Haochuan said, patting his belly, thoroughly contented.

Han Xue’er, with her head bowed, began to gather the dishes and was preparing to leave silently.

However, at that moment, Ye Haochuan noticed something amiss and spotted the tears in her eyes. Suspicious, he asked, ”Xue’er, what’s wrong? Did someone bully you?”

Having been holding back her troubles, Han Xue’er could no longer contain herself. She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes before looking up at him, choking up, ”Brother Ye, I know I’m just a humble nurse with no family background. Don’t give up on a girl who’s more suitable for you just because my grandfather is matchmaking...”

Seeing her tearful appearance, Ye Haochuan felt incredibly distressed. Her words made it sound like he was some kind of a Chen Shimei.

”Wait a minute, Xue’er. You didn’t get upset over something today, did you?” Ye Haochuan felt it was strange. ”Come on, tell your husband what’s really going on.”

Then he pulled her into his arms and let her straddle him.

Such a position...was too embarrassing!

Even with her lack of experience, Han Xue’er knew that straddling him this way was somewhat indecent. She struggled, trying to get down, but Ye Haochuan simply wouldn’t let her and chuckled, ”It’s okay, we’re practically engaged.”

”But this is too...”

Feeling a certain part of him growing harder beneath her, Han Xue’er blushed fiercely. She had never been this close to a man before!

”Alright, Xue’er, no more nonsense. Quickly tell me what’s the matter. What ’more suitable’ girl? Get it over with, and I’ll let you down,” Ye Haochuan said somewhat dominantly.

With no choice, Han Xue’er complied, ”Doctor Kou.”

”Doctor Kou?” Ye Haochuan nearly laughed, thinking it was Xiao Haimei; he didn’t expect it to be Doctor Kou.

”This morning, I heard many people saying that you jumped off a cliff on Phoenix Mountain yesterday to save Doctor Kou...” said Han Xue’er, her eyes red.

So that was it. But this news spread damn fast, didn’t it?

Ye Haochuan laughed and said, ”So what if I did? Should I not have saved her? Should I abandon you, this little girl, just for her? Let me tell you, you are the Ye Family’s daughter-in-law. I’ve even paid the bride price, and your family has agreed. What, are you thinking of backing out now?”

”No, it’s not that.”

Han Xue’er hung her head low, shaking it while feeling boundless joy inside. No matter what, Brother Ye had finally acknowledged her.

”But you and Doctor Kou always had a good relationship, so why not take a leaf out of Empress E and Lady Ying’s book?” Ye Haochuan laughed.

Empress E and Lady Ying?

Although Han Xue’er was just a young nurse, it did not mean she was uneducated. How could she not know the story where Empress E and Lady Ying shared one husband?

So, when she heard this, she felt a rush of frustration and punched him lightly, saying, ”You... how can you say such a thing?”

”Why can’t I say such a thing?” Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”The palm and the back of the hand are all flesh. If you both were with me, wouldn’t that solve everything?”

Han Xue’er clearly couldn’t accept his point of view and said, ”But that’s illegal.”

”Illegal?” Ye Haochuan laughed, ”The law binds the common folk, not me.”

”What?” Han Xue’er was stunned.

Ye Haochuan knew this was the prime opportunity to explain, and if he missed it, once she calmed down, this charming little nurse would be like a cooked duck flying away.

Without any hesitation, he repeated his identity to Han Xue’er, just as he had explained it to Chen Yushan’s parents.

Han Xue’er was shocked for a while before she regained her senses. ”Brother Ye, is... is what you said true?”

”If it was false, could Brother Ye have easily taken care of that ***? And why else would your brother come to me to learn martial skills?”

Han Xue’er hesitated, clearly conflicted; the monogamous marriage mindset she’d been taught from childhood was deeply rooted in her heart.

Ye Haochuan knew he had to keep trying, so he intensified his soft persuasion.

”Actually, Xue’er, hubby really had no choice. Do you think hubby is that desperate? To tell you the truth, the qigong cultivation technique I practice is extremely masculine, and my energy is exceptionally fiery. You study nursing; you should know about balancing Yin and Yang. If there isn’t a woman to regulate it, hubby will sooner or later perish from excessive internal heat.”

After finishing, Ye Haochuan really wanted to pat himself on the back. Damn, I’m such a genius to come up with an excuse like this, haha!

As expected, when Han Xue’er heard that he would perish from excessive internal heat, she became anxious, ”Brother Ye, is that really true?”

”If Brother Ye were lying, then I’d be a little dog,” Ye Haochuan pledged sincerely.

So what if I’m a little dog? Once you sleep with me, young lady, you’ll have been done by a dog—see who loses out then? Hehe!

He shamelessly thought to himself.

Han Xue’er, who was already naïve and hopelessly in love with him, lost all her judgment upon hearing this and was utterly confused.

Ye Haochuan was an old hand at this; seeing her like this, he knew she was in a dilemma. If he took advantage of the moment and conquered her, she would forever be undyingly loyal to him without any further doubt.

Got to win this girl over!

Ye Haochuan quickly made up his mind and cooed softly, ”Baby, my dear beloved baby, could you really bear to leave hubby?”

Listening to his unbearable sweet nothings, Han Xue’er became intoxicated, her face blushing as she said, ”Brother Ye, will you... will you be good to me for a lifetime?”

”You are my heart, you are my liver, you’re three-quarters of my life; of course, I will be good to you forever...”

Ye Haochuan’s love words flowed easily, his naughty hand stealthily climbing higher, but just as he was about to consummate, there was a sudden knock on the office door.

Ye Haochuan looked impatiently with his perspective ability and almost went limp with fright.
