Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

And this Insect Clan Queen has such grand ambitions.

In fact, she is actually very close to this ambition, at least much closer than Jia Yan.

After all, she is already a Top Domain Lord, and above that is the High-rank Galaxy Level, followed by the Peak of the galaxy, and finally... it’s the power level that no one has ever managed to transcend, higher than the galaxy!

Jia Yan looked at the surroundings, at creatures that transformed into Flame, acting like normal beings, unable to speak for a long time.

In fact, compared to this Insect Clan Queen, he is more chaotic, saying he wants to become stronger, yet he has never confirmed if he truly wants to surpass all the Strong Ones in the Milky Way and become the first Galactic Grade Existence to shatter the heavens and split the earth.

And now, spurred by the words of the Insect Clan Queen, a wave in his heart quickly turns, like making some kind of resolution.

”Very well, Your Majesty, I too wish to pursue the path of transcending the galaxy, but there’s one point I want to clarify first. That is, my path is the same as yours; you wish to transcend to above galaxy-level, and I have the same wish. If you find that there is something worth cultivating in me, I would be very pleased. But if you think my growth will only compete with you for resources, then it’s okay not to let me join your plan; everything depends on your decision.”

”Hmm? You wish to transcend the galaxy too?”

The Insect Clan Queen was taken aback.

She almost wanted to laugh then.

Because to her, Jia Yan is too weak at this moment. She may look favorably upon him, but definitely not at his current state; maybe in the future when he attains at least the Star River Middle Stage, he would catch her eye.

Yet, such an existence dares to say he wants to transcend, which to the Insect Clan Queen, is like the funniest joke.

”Are you sure you think this too? My actual intention is to find a few geniuses like yourself, and then lead you at least to Territory Master Level. Further cultivation beyond that level, I am not confident in guaranteeing.”

The Insect Clan Queen is unwilling to have anyone else vying for her resources, after all, the path to High-rank Galaxy Level, and even the peak, is incredibly arduous, and having one more follower wanting resources is something she absolutely cannot accept.

”Territory Master? Your Majesty, may I know what I must do if I choose to cooperate with you?”

Jia Yan replied noncommittally, then with a glint in his eyes, he asked the Insect Clan Queen.

”Indeed, I will prepare your cultivation up to Territory Master Level, but before that, you must agree to serve me for at least a hundred years. After a hundred years, whether you have reached Territory Master Level, or if you were already there for the full hundred years, I will let you leave independently.”

The Insect Clan Queen had planned well, estimating that someone reaching Territory Master Level might begin competing for resources with her. Within a hundred years, she anticipated having the opportunity to advance to a position in the Milky Way, recognized anywhere as a domineering High-rank Galaxy Level. The demand for resources then would be greater, having Territory Masters needing resources around could be somewhat superfluous, and in High-rank Galaxy Level warfare, Domain Lord Level can’t assist much, keeping them would be a waste.

Hence, she felt it better to agree for a genius to follow her for only a hundred years.

”So you mean, during these hundred years, regardless of the level I reach, you will ensure the resources? Another point I would like to discuss, is joining under your banner more as a subordinate or partner? As you know from my past, I aspire to live unrestrained, so if it means becoming your subordinate, I won’t join.”

Jia Yan continued to inquire.

”That’s right, within a hundred years, if you manage to reach Star River Middle Stage in fifty years, I will ensure to help you prepare resources for your Territory Master breakthrough. If you manage to successfully reach Territory Master Level within a hundred years, no matter how immense the cultivation energy you require upon reaching Territory Master Level, I will provide, as long as the time hasn’t surpassed a hundred years. However, during those hundred years, you must work for me. As for what you said about being subordinate or not subordinate, I do not wish to be your leader, merely expect you to comply with certain tasks, purely as partners.”

Purely as partners? It still feels a bit like being a subordinate.

Jia Yan fell silent for a while, then he nodded and solemnly said, ”Your Majesty, this is a significant matter, would you allow me time to consider it thoroughly?”

”Sure, I sent an avatar over precisely to test you a bit, after all, I deemed your performance as insufficient before, now I want to see how your capabilities unfold in this battle.”

Jia Yan selects the Queen, the Queen also selects Jia Yan for strength; after all, this matter involves both parties.

Jia Yan nodded, he understood well that an existence with Territory Master Level strength, in choosing a subordinate, requires a great evaluation, and Jia Yan, as someone not quite demonstrating any Talent yet, was simply being observed. If his performance in this coming battle isn’t satisfactory, even wanting to be a subordinate might be refused.

Of course, Jia Yan absolutely refuses to be a subordinate; even if it’s described as ’partner’ by the Queen, it’s absolutely better than nominally being a subordinate, even if this so-called partner is quite like a subordinate. Yet, at least there’s room for negotiation.

Moreover, Jia Yan must observe too; the opponent’s strength is extremely formidable. If he rashly agrees to cooperate and then the True Body appears but is countered and destroyed, that would be too unfortunate. Therefore, Jia Yan must observe what kind of person the opponent truly is; if they are not worth collaborating with, he absolutely will not cooperate with them.
