Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The three Galaxy Level powerhouses have a deep fear as they gazed distantly at Jia Yan’s eighteen or nineteen avatars, and then one of them suddenly spoke and began to retreat on his own.

Behind them, there were no avatars guarding, so they could retreat quickly.

Actually, there was another reason, and that was because Jia Yan did not want to fight them here.

Behind him was Jia Rong, which was a major reason. After all, a Galaxy Level being is still a Galaxy Level being. Even with eighteen or nineteen avatars, the basic gap in combat power is substantial. In such a situation, even if he could once again use a desperate tactic with his avatars to perish together with the enemy, it would be hard to ensure that Jia Rong would not be accidentally killed by the shockwaves of their battle.

This is something Jia Yan cannot accept. After all, it was hard enough to clear up misunderstandings with his son, and their relationship improved a bit.

”Dad... you.”

Jia Rong, standing in the starry sky behind Jia Yan, saw the enemy’s departure and then looked at Jia Yan, who appeared like an Earth person and was half a head shorter, and a complicated feeling surged in his heart.

It was a sense of safety, or perhaps a kind of bitterness; he couldn’t explain it, but it felt very peculiar.

This was the first time in his life that Jia Rong felt protection from his great father. Although there was energy aid before, that energy couldn’t communicate and felt like a tool. But today was different; this was an Earth-like avatar he often considered his real father, which gave him a sense of genuine family affection.

”Don’t say anything, I need to chase after them now to see if there’s a chance to get rid of them all at once, otherwise I won’t be at ease.”

Jia Yan shook his head without blaming his son. After all, being targeted by Galaxy Levels and surviving is already luck.

When Galaxy Level beings plot against Dignitaries, you can’t say it’s the Dignitaries’ fault, given the disparity in Level. If the opponent stoops to scheming, the Dignitaries should be successfully schemed against.

Fortunately, Jia Yan’s avatars were here.

Whoosh.

Within the interstellar space, of Jia Yan’s avatars, three were left behind to continue guarding Jia Rong, while the remaining fifteen entered the subspace. In the extremely distorted subspace, they swiftly pursued and attacked the three escaping Galaxy Level strong ones.

Unfortunately, even if they entered subspace, the Brainwave Power intensity of a Semi-permanent Star Level is still a Semi-permanent Star Level; compared to the Galaxy Level one’s intensity, it is not comparable. Therefore, even with the subspace travel method, they were being left farther behind by the three Galaxy Level powerhouses ahead.

”Sigh. Forget it, if I keep chasing, I’ll end up in the enemy’s base.”

Jia Yan’s avatar regretfully abandoned the pursuit.

This ambush actually had the potential to reverse the situation, causing the enemy significant losses, losing three Galaxy Level beings, which would be an unacceptable loss for them.

Unfortunately, the three Galaxy Level beings decided to escape directly when they saw no opportunity, causing Jia Yan to have to silently let go of Jia Rong and miss the chance to trap and destroy the three Galaxy Level beings with his avatars.

”In fact, the true body was not far from here, because this direction is where we decided our final battle would take place. It’s quite a good drill for both sides to increase the tension.”

The Earth-like Jia Yan smiled silently and prepared to head back.

But just as the fifteen avatars were preparing to return, a shocking light suddenly shot out from the direction where the three Galaxy Level beings had escaped.

This light was faster and more terrifying than the speed of the three Galaxy Level beings who had fled earlier.

Even its body far exceeded the size of the three Galaxy Level strong ones, reaching a terrifying size of over eighty kilometers, several times larger than other Star River Level Initial Stage beings.

Such a terrifying, planet-like creature rapidly approached this starfield, and from afar, it could spot Jia Yan’s avatars preparing to enter the subspace interior.

”Jia Yan! You’ve come knocking, even if it’s just an avatar, I’ll collect some interest now. Have your real body come and die soon.”

With that, this terrifying creature instantly unleashed its Brainwave Power.

”This is... not good!”

Jia Yan’s Earth-like avatar was almost scared out of his wits the instant it realized the speed and strength of the opponent, as well as the presence he exuded all indicated one fact...

This intruder was not an ordinary Galaxy Level enemy.

He is the strongest being in this war in name, the mid-tier galactic creature!

Boom!

The enormous light beam let out by the enemy reached the eyes of several avatars at the moment Jia Yan and his avatars finally reacted.

”Subspace meteorites, explode for me!”

Though the reaction speeds of the avatars varied, they all knew an enemy was behind them through the connection with their true body, even if they couldn’t turn around quickly.

So, all of them simultaneously used the terrifying joint-meteor technique.

The fifteen avatars together using a tactic capable of facing Galaxy Level strong ones, this moment showcased the most powerful combat state possible for the avatars.

Even with more avatars, Jia Yan’s control was limited, so having fifteen avatars fighting together was the maximum control he could exert, showing the most terrifying battle power he could muster through his avatars.

The opponent’s Brainwave Power reached the Star River Middle Stage, a formidable power compared to a group of Semi-permanent Star Level avatars, naturally possessing an overwhelmingly powerful presence.

In many civilizations, Semi-permanent Star Level beings view mid-tier galactic creatures as gods, yet in this battlefield, a group of Semi-permanent Star Level avatars dared to counterattack a mid-tier galactic creature.

And this counterattack actually had a slight effect.

Boom!

In the starry battlefield, far off where Jia Rong engaged in conversation with other avatars, all of them froze momentarily.

Even further away, like a stellar explosion, a terribly bright light burst out within a second.

”What is that?!”

Jia Rong didn’t notice at first that the three remaining Jia Yan avatars around him suddenly lost any expression, due to Jia Yan’s inability to control them amid the enormous explosion.

He only saw that the gigantic explosion wave, akin to the force of a stellar explosion, was rushing towards the battleship.

”Quick, get on the battleship! Leave now.”

Suddenly, the half-stellar Jia Yan avatar beside him came to its senses and pushed Jia Rong enthusiastically towards the main flagship he had boarded earlier.

Receiving Jia Yan’s Brainwave Power message, each battleship began retreating at full speed.

Yet the three remaining avatars stood still, almost like they were dead, even the one that spoke and pushed Jia Rong seemed to be disconnected from Jia Yan’s control.

Indeed, he chose to disregard them.

Because the battle on the other side reached a point that was causing Jia Yan himself quite a headache.

”What an interesting way of fighting, trying to blow me up with these matter-antimatter meteorites? Naive.”

The Star River Middle Stage powerhouse easily discerned the tricks of these meteorites and experienced firsthand the initial meteor explosion.

Unfortunately, the enemy was so strong that even the meteorites’ explosions from fifteen avatars could not kill or even injure him.

After all, Star River Middle Stage is still Star River Middle Stage.

Splat!
