Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

So the surrounding starfields are all intensely focused on the developments of this battle.

As time passes, the general standoff situation also unfolds in the starfield...

This is a standoff army that has made the surrounding starfields look somewhat dull.

On one side is the Allied Army, who have come from afar, with forces not excessively numerous but each soldier is exceptional and elite, enough in stellar level numbers to annihilate all the surrounding starfields.

The other side is the Orion Arm, previously silent and even referred to as the wild land, due to the appearance of Jia Yan, the Evolutionary Creature, has turned into an unimaginably terrifying giant beast. Interstellar soldiers are countless in their ranks, and though their surface strength seems unimpressive, the joint ultimate move of Yin-Yang Dao makes the strength of this starfield also very formidable, and with the advantage of numbers, they can overshadow the Allied Army.

In other words, if the Allied Army did not have galaxy level powerhouses, the Orion Arm might resist them even without Jia Yan.

Of course, all of this is conjecture; the reality is that the Orion Arm has Jia Yan, while the enemy also possesses incredibly powerful galaxy level entities, including a Middle Level Existence in Star River.

The result of the warfare is unimaginable to both sides at this point.

On the surface, one side has ten galaxy level entities, while the other only has one galaxy level. Moreover, among the eleven on the other side is a Middle-rank star river powerhouse, whereas this side has only one initial star river powerhouse.

To many, based on superficial strength, the Orion Arm seems impossible to win.

Yet, in reality, the Orion Arm has effectively reached a standoff with the Allied Army, who originally were set to crush them outright, and have chosen to confront them with caution.

The reasons for this are not simply the Allied Army’s excessive caution or cowardice.

It’s that the Orion Arm itself possesses not insignificant strength.

The most prominent formidable figure is Jia Yan, the ultimate reliance within Orion Arm, and their steadfast cornerstone, the Evolutionary Creature.

In the previous battle, Jia Yan did not deploy his true body, but just his avatar engaged in combat, already fighting the enemy to a standstill. Even relying solely on this avatar, he has eliminated many formidable initial galaxy level powerhouses among the enemy.

This is why the enemy must regard Jia Yan with importance, even with an exceedingly serious attitude.

Naturally, even now, the enemy does not believe that just Jia Yan alone as a galaxy level powerhouse could contend with more than a dozen nemesis galaxy levels; even if they refrain from striking, it’s because they don’t wish for a possible mutual destruction scenario.

Mind you, if his avatar can kill initial galaxy level beings, then his true body must be even more formidable, capable of dragging others down to death, potentially taking out a significant portion of these galaxy level figures.

Galaxy level cultivation is challenging; no one wishes to die, thus they remain extremely cautious.

However, even with caution, the immense allure of enhancing their strength through Evolutionary Creatures is irresistibly tempting to them; hence, all are waiting to see who between the Middle-rank star river powerhouse and Jia Yan is stronger or weaker. Though lesser initial galaxy levels will join the fray, none are foolish enough to directly confront Jia Yan personally.

”Heh, the Allied Army over there are even inviting external reinforcements.”

One day, Jia Yan received such news within his subspace.

Though this news was not particularly surprising to him, it did cause some headaches.

So many initial and middle-stage galaxy level existences gathered at his Orion Arm already indicates that this group of galaxy levels are inherently sociable and rather active types, so recruiting externally due to lack of manpower is only logical.

However, Jia Yan felt heavy-hearted.

Because this time it appears they are just recruiting some mediocre stellar level from the free market, yet he sees the trend; if they do not believe Jia Yan is that easily defeated, they might collaborate with other galaxy levels or even bring in Domain Lord Level Existence.

Although if a Domain Lord arrives, Jia Yan is confident that the Insect Clan Queen might intervene, but such action would leave Jia Yan indebted to her, potentially bound in the future, something he does not wish to see.

”Fortunately, they haven’t thought of letting other strong ones join the fray yet, giving me some room to maneuver, and I think they absolutely won’t seek more allies until after their first loss because initiating such talks without prior defeat would be unwelcome for any Nebula Level being.”

Jia Yan analyzed the enemy’s thoughts, understanding the mindset among the galaxy level beings quite well. Just as if he himself could share spoils with a same-level ally, it wouldn’t occur to scout another person for it.

Therefore, they would not easily invite more galaxy levels to encroach upon their benefits.

”Then my opportunity...”

”Only once!”

Jia Yan knows, the enemy seeking peers or stronger entities will only occur after their initial failure, for they have absolute confidence even in a second-loss scenario that not all will perish. In that lies Jia Yan’s chance.
