Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The countless Orion Arm soldiers were dumbfounded, their eyes wide open and their mouths agape.

The reason for their shock was simple.

It was because, on the side of the Allied Army, several massive biological entities appeared, each of them surpassing the size of most battleships, reaching an astonishing thirty to fifty kilometers in length!

One must know that in the universe, it’s almost unheard of for creatures to grow naturally into such terrifying sizes.

There can only be one explanation for them reaching such sizes...

And that is, these massive creatures are, without exception, beings far surpassing Stellar level.

In other words, they are all — Galaxy Level!

”Are they all Galaxy-Level? My heavens, there’s actually so many Galaxy-Level beings here. Could it be that the entire Galaxy-Level force of the Allied Army has been deployed?”

”No, that’s not all of them, roughly six are here, but six are already terrifying enough. Is the Allied Army trying to wage a strategic battle with our Orion Arm? But... aside from Mosquito Patriarch, we have no other Galaxy-Level being to fight against them.”

”No, Mosquito Patriarch’s avatar can still contend with the opponent, but now, if the Patriarch isn’t here, doesn’t that mean our troops will bear the wrath of a group of Galaxy-Level beings?”

At this time, all the Orion Arm soldiers realized that the Allied fleet they were pursuing was all bait. They foolishly chased them into this Twisted Territory, which became their massive disadvantage.

”I understand now, this group lured us here likely because they were aware of these distortions, and they estimated that our Patriarch’s Subspace Talent would be hindered by it.”

”This place has simply been their planned battlefield for a long time. They calculated everything, not just us, even the retreating Allied fleet was set up. These Allied forces are ruthless even to their own kind.”

The higher-ups in the Orion Arm thought even more, but what could they do knowing the enemy’s strategy? The situation was already what it was, and even if they thought of the enemy’s strategy, there was absolutely no way to deal with the Galaxy-Level beings in front of them.

If the Patriarch appears, it would be fine. But if he doesn’t, then this Orion Arm fleet will suffer enormous losses, and even starting to retreat now might be too late.

”Turn around and flee!”

”No, turning around will disrupt the formation and lead to worse deaths.”

”Right, turning around might cause us to block each other with the ships behind, causing more chaos and faster deaths.”

”Then what do we do? Do we just go head-to-head with the Galaxy-Level? We’d surely die.”

”If it comes to a fight, so be it. Do the creatures of the Orion Arm fear death? It’s merely death. Have the soldiers of the Orion Arm forgotten the spirit that saw us through those tough times?”

”Exactly, it’s merely death, if we die, then we die.”

Caught in this dilemma, in the end, each battleship chose not to retreat but to continue charging forward. Meanwhile, orders were issued for the rear battleships to flee. Among this vanguard fleet, there were individuals of noble status who were being persuaded to retreat.

”Lord Jia Rong, a superfast battleship for escape has been arranged. You should flee; if anything happens to you, we cannot bear the guilt.”

It turns out that within one battleship, Jia Rong was also part of this vanguard team.

Blame it on his overconfidence in his squad; he ended up in the vanguard fleet, ready to showcase his skills in the upcoming battle. But he never expected to fall into the enemy’s trap.

This was a bit much; he never planned on encountering Galaxy-Level beings again. Among those Galaxy-Level entities waiting for the Orion Arm warships to self-deliver, he even recognized two who ambushed him last time. With such enemies meeting again, blood boiled, and the opponents likely wouldn’t allow him much time for rescue.

”I won’t leave.”

But Jia Rong was extremely determined.

Jia Rong knew this was the final battle. If they won, the Orion Arm would be free from wars, and for a long time, would carry the prestige of having defeated a Galaxy-Level army, becoming the strongest in the surrounding Starfields, with a clear path for development.

But if they lost, the Orion Arm would truly become a place ravaged by bandits. The Galaxy-Level enemies might feel extremely hostile due to the Orion Arm soldiers killing their subordinates, perhaps leading to the possibility of completely blood-washing the Orion Arm, annihilating all life within.

Although this would be condemned by many forces in the interstellar medium, none of the Galaxy-Level powerhouses would actually say much. They might just make some verbal attacks; which Galaxy-Level existence would wage war over a Starfield unrelated to them?

So he knew, being part of the vanguard, if he fled, the chain reaction coupled with his identity would be far from simple. It might even lead to the entire vanguard’s collapse, and potentially the collapse of subsequent fleets, ruining the battle.

He would then become a traitor of the Orion Arm.

Thus, Jia Rong refused to retreat, unwilling to leave.

”I won’t retreat, and there’s no need to persuade me. In fact, you needn’t worry too much about me. I still have the energy my father prepared for me, and now I vaguely feel my father’s avatar might be nearby. Although one or two avatars are useless, if he wishes to rescue me, he likely can. So don’t worry about me, do your duties well. Best case, let’s all leave this battlefield alive and escape the Galaxy-Level enemies!”
