Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”One chance. If we can wipe them all out, their army will collapse without a fight. There would be no one left to take my information and seek external help to kill me.”

After Jia Yan understood the key points, he felt a surge of pressure.

Because what he needed to do was annihilate a group of Star River level beings all at once, and among them, there was even a Middle Level Existence. Whether this presence could rival him or was even stronger was unknown, and under such circumstances, Jia Yan set his target, even considering taking out this Middle Level Existence along with them.

It’s not about being overly ambitious, but the situation demanded it.

”Do your best!”

Jia Yan delved back into his preparations.

The Subspace he was in was where he was planning to deal with the enemy.

This time, Jia Yan would utilize every trick at his disposal. After all, war is like this, and since he was already outnumbered, the pressure was immense. It would be foolish not to use certain tactics.

Jia Yan’s strength, to many Stellar level beings and even typical Galaxy Level Powerhouses, was hard to imagine as terrifying. But for someone at the Middle Level of Star River Power, it was not possible to crush them. So, he had to resort to some special methods.

Much like how he dealt with assassins, by laying mines in Subspace!

”This time when laying mines, the enemy will definitely know my past methods, and certainly guard against me. So, the battlefield I set up, they surely won’t willingly enter it. If the enemy doesn’t accept it, I must guess their intentions.”

Jia Yan knew that the enemy would not foolishly follow him to the Thunder Area.

Thus, he had to anticipate the enemy’s thoughts, or in some way, make them think that they were leading him into their predetermined area.

Jia Yan busied himself with mine-laying, while pondering certain matters.

”From the previous battles, they should have noticed that my Space Talent is truly formidable. They will certainly be alert to my Space Talent, possibly to the extent of preventing me from using it to escape. This is something all my adversaries attempt to do.”

”So, can I exploit this fact?”

Jia Yan knew that the enemy was quite afraid of Subspace Talent, concerned that he might use it to leave the battlefield. For many beings, Subspace is an unreachable domain, although for Galaxy Level beings, it’s not as unfamiliar. Even a weak Galaxy Level Powerhouse can manage to enter one or two layers of Subspace.

However, Jia Yan could actually reach the eighth degree of Subspace, something unknown to many. Even the incoming adversaries might not be aware of this.

Even if they did know, they had no instruments to detect Jia Yan’s exact location in the eighth layer of Subspace.

Thus, their plan would be to restrain Jia Yan before he entered the eighth degree of Subspace, or to find a location very difficult to reach at that level.

”So, I chose this place!”

Jia Yan was laying his ’mines’ around the sixth layer of Subspace, while looking around.

This was the Orion Arm Edge, a region whose Subspace was in turmoil due to a great war hundreds of thousands of years ago. Even the Subspace above the eighth layer had been completely destroyed by an immense distortion.

This Subspace didn’t mean Jia Yan couldn’t access the eighth layer, but it would be much more difficult than other places.

Even attempting to enter, it would become somewhat dangerous, slowing him down and allowing pursuit.

”They will probably choose this place to battle. I can’t reach the eighth layer, so they’ll think the area below the eighth layer is within their effective attack range, and that I can’t escape.”

Jia Yan continued contemplating the enemy’s combat strategy, then smiled slightly.

He had already devised a plan.

That was to use this region to catch them off guard.

The enemy would certainly select such terrain for combat.

And Jia Yan had buried his meteor explosives in the sixth or seventh layer of space, areas the enemy generally wouldn’t notice, as no Galaxy Level Powerhouse would continuously maximize their detection capability over such a vast Starfield. It would be akin to finding a grain of sand on Earth.

The Starry Sky is immense, after all.

Checking with instruments was a certainty, but standard instruments couldn’t penetrate below the third layer, not to mention the sixth and seventh layers. To date, Jia Yan hadn’t found any star domain with scientific instruments capable of probing Subspace beyond the fourth layer.

Therefore, Jia Yan was confident that if the enemy chose this area, his meteor explosives would go undetected.

”Great, this increases my chances considerably.”

While laying the setup, Jia Yan was pleased to discover that outside his Starry Sky, there were Allied Army reconnaissance battleships patrolling nearby.

These should be the Allied Army’s Subspace probe ships.

”Heh, heh, as I expected, they’re also troubled by my Subspace Talent. So when they happen to find this highly distorted area of the Starry Sky near the confrontation zone, noticing the vague distortion of the eighth degree, won’t they be pleased and try to lure me in?”

Jia Yan chuckled softly. By then, the enemy would realize they had successfully lured him, but the location wasn’t advantageous for them. Instead, it was Jia Yan who had the upper hand...

”Very good, let’s see if the script unfolds as I imagined.”

Jia Yan arranged quickly.

And just as he anticipated, the enemy’s recon team, upon discovering this vast area with an internal Subspace distortion, enthusiastically reported back.

”Hahahaha, this Jia Yan’s elusive skill comes from his Subspace Talent. Rumor has it that his Subspace Talent reaches the Eighth-Degree Subspace, a place even we Galaxy Level beings struggle to attack. I’ve always been worried that he might use this Subspace prowess, so if we can lure him here, it will surely limit his escape capabilities.”

A Galaxy Level Powerhouse from the Allied Army who received this intelligence laughed out loud.

You see, they were not only troubled by Jia Yan’s power but also by his Subspace Talent.

In the eyes of this group of Galaxy Level powers, their combined strength should easily suppress a Star River Level Initial Stage adversary. However, they were wary of his escape possibilities.

What troubled them even more was that Jia Yan possessed the most convenient escape talent in the Milky Way—his Subspace Talent.

He had even developed this talent to a massive extent, being able to reach the eighth layer of Subspace. This caused them great concern: after defeating Jia Yan, would they be able to capture him?

Their goal was to capture Jia Yan and turn him into a power-enhancing ’medicine’. But if Jia Yan eluded capture using his Subspace Talent, wouldn’t all efforts be for nothing?

Now, with such beneficial information, this Galaxy Level Powerhouse was undoubtedly elated.

”Don’t get too tight with your happiness, beware this might be Jia Yan’s ruse.”

”What ruse? Do you think Jia Yan orchestrated such a vast eighth-degree distortion just to trick us? Hahaha, you overestimate him. If he had the power to create such a large-scale eighth-degree distortion, he wouldn’t be an Initial Stage Galaxy Level; he’d be a Territory Master. With that kind of power, he could crush us with one slap, no need for any schemes.”
