Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

[It turns out everyone still prefers Chapters without anti-piracy measures. It’s been a while since we last set them, and subscriptions have not decreased but increased. Apparently, Old Step was wrong. As long as it’s enjoyable to read, people are willing to subscribe. Thank you all.]

[Of course, we still hope that friends reading pirated versions might subscribe to the official release. After all, you’ve read through over six million words by now, and are probably Old Step’s old friends. Why not support us officially? Thank you!]

Inside the battleship from which Jia Yan had just flown, the captain almost roared with excitement. He was both surprised and delighted. Although he had suspected earlier that this might be the Avatar of the Ancestor Lord, seeing it now confirms it. Of course, he was thrilled.

Additionally, Lord Jia Yan had just in front of him, annihilated a stellar-level strong one. Knowing that this Avatar flew out from his own battleship, it would be enough for him to boast to his descendants for a lifetime.

”Haha, you guys continue the fight. Don’t mind me.”

The Jia Yan Avatar observed the battles around him and began to calm down. He then flew into the distant starry sky, no longer perched on that battleship.

Since his identity has been exposed, it’s best not to affect their combat power. After all, if he stayed on the battleship, it could negatively impact others’ mentality. If it led them to the illusion that their battleship could directly charge into the enemy fleet, that would be troublesome.

”Alright, now it’s time for my Avatars to act in other areas.”

Jia Yan has always been using his Avatars to assist in the battles.

Given that he now possesses the capability to confront the adversary directly, he no longer needs to act as restrained as he did before.

Especially since these are just Avatars, he doesn’t have to worry about his true body being besieged to death by a group of Galaxy Level beings and a Middle-rank star river powerhouse.

Indeed, even though he acknowledges that, despite having the aid of Avatars, if so many Galaxy Level beings besiege him, there is still a considerable chance of death.

Especially that Middle-rank star river creature, who has remained hidden until now. Despite Jia Yan displaying such formidable strength, he still shows no urgency, suggesting he remains unconcerned about the Avatar’s capabilities Jia Yan has exhibited.

But he is certainly aware that Jia Yan’s true body is much stronger than his Avatars, making him somewhat cautious, which is why he hasn’t attacked directly yet.

Now, it’s a matter of seeing who can wait longer. Both sides are watching to see whose trump card acts first.

Jia Yan’s trump card is the action of his true body. The enemy’s trump card is waiting to see when their Middle-rank star river creature will take action.

Whichever side acts first will give the other an advantage, which is not a favorable outcome for either party.

”But time is on my side, as my Avatars are numerous. Even though each one has the strength to deal with Galaxy Level powerhouses, it may not provide a significant advantage. But an advantage is still an advantage. After all, losing one or two Avatars won’t impact much.”

Jia Yan is not worried about the casualties of his Avatars, which is his greatest reliance. Unlike what other Galaxy Level beings predict, the adverse effects of Avatar deaths on his true body are not as severe as expected.

It seems the enemy has gradually realized Jia Yan appears unfazed by situations where his Avatars may die. So even though the war rages on, the enemy is no longer sending out even Galaxy Level beings as frequently.

The opponent is likely preparing for a full-scale battle against Jia Yan, a terminal campaign where all Galaxy Level beings will emerge to confront Jia Yan.

But Jia Yan is helpless in this regard. The enemy surely won’t be so foolish as to let his Avatars take them down one by one in mutual destruction.

Thus, Jia Yan is also waiting. He wants to win gloriously, to show the Insect Clan Queen. Therefore, he cannot falter but must triumph in these battles head-on.

This Avatar gradually enters subspace, then navigates through pathways, entering other battleships to serve as an external powerhouse.

Inside the Orion Arm fleet, seeing Semi-permanent Star Level creatures started to become a common sight, and especially those with ambiguous origins, everyone seemed to be looking at them strangely, as if each were a potential Avatar of the Mosquito Patriarch.

This led to situations where Semi-permanent Star Level powerhouses within the Orion Arm became more respected than their Stellar Level counterparts. Some Semi-permanent Star Level creatures even joked that if things continued like this, they might reconsider advancing to Stellar Level.

Of course, that’s just a jest. In reality, the number of Semi-permanent Star Level creatures inside the Orion Arm is not substantial. After Jia Yan utilized his Avatars for over a hundred positions, only a few hundred remained. This made it quite simple for ordinary battleships to deduce Jia Yan’s Avatars, as any typical Semi-permanent Star Level creature, upon searching the internet, would have traces of history, past deeds. But Jia Yan’s Semi-permanent Star Level Avatars had no such traces, making it obvious to the discerning eye that they were his Avatars.

Even knowing this, there’s no concern, as surely not everywhere are enemy scouts. Besides, even if they know where one or two Avatars are, there isn’t a viable method to handle it, thus leaving the broader situation unaffected.
