Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Please speak.”

”Actually, at that time I used energy to dispatch combat teams around the nearby starry sky. I didn’t have much thought; it was merely because I encountered a siege by the Four Great Domain Masters back then. After the battle, being young and impulsive, I sent out teams to roam the nearby starry sky, just to see if there were any forces or starfields that still wanted to attack me. To put it bluntly, it was just some sort of sightseeing tour.”

”However, the legends of your Orion Arm intrigued me. For people from our side, not even mentioning your Orion Arm, even the entire surrounding starfield range is somewhat ’countryside.’ You understand, it’s literally what it means. Your civilization, strong ones, and technology are all completely lagging behind us. So when I first heard about your Orion Arm, I found it interesting and dispatched a team to your Orion Arm. Coincidentally, I had a trace of energy in one of my subordinates, so I came to observe and investigate.”

The Insect Clan Queen recalled events as if they were ancient; for her, though her age wasn’t that great, reminiscing about decades past seemed like something from a very distant time.

”To the surrounding starfield or to the strong ones, the rather mysterious Orion Arm appears to us merely as a dying Domain Master’s arrangement. Although that esteemed individual was indeed formidable, possibly if he were still alive, I could only slightly outmatch him. However, he has been dead for hundreds of thousands of years. After my combat forces played some war games here with you, I grew somewhat bored and wanted to see what you, the legendary Evolutionary Creature species of the Orion Arm, were truly like. And then...as you know, you appeared.”

Confronted with the Insect Clan Queen’s words, Jia Yan was taken aback and then smiled bitterly.

To other strong ones and starfields, Predecessor Tianji’s arrangements are extremely difficult to crack. Of course, Jia Yan understood that particularly to Galaxy Level beings, this method seemed rather immature after hundreds of thousands of years. Yet when uttered by the Insect Clan Queen, it seemed quite useless, which left Jia Yan feeling bitter.

Paradoxically, the other party wasn’t boasting but simply stating facts calmly.

Moreover, she mentioned that if Predecessor Tianji were still alive, he would still fall short of her...

Although Jia Yan had already vaguely guessed it, facing the truth still made it hard for Jia Yan to accept.

Because Predecessor Tianji was possibly the strongest in combat power among previous Evolutionary Creature predecessors, if even he was like this, wouldn’t that mean the Insect Clan Queen completely surpassed the ’Evolutionary Creature’ tribe he took pride in...?

This blow was somewhat excessive.

”Haha, Jia Yan, don’t be too overwhelmed. I believe you’ve already understood that in the Milky Way, there are more than just your Evolutionary Creature being a talented race. Possibly in the Milky Way Central, there exists a super talented strong being who even I can’t match. These are things you might know about, even if your information is slightly isolated, right?”

Faced with the Queen’s query, Jia Yan nodded: ”Indeed, I’m aware of that. I just haven’t seen anyone better than us Evolutionary Creatures appear. Now that I’ve suddenly seen you, I’m still somewhat shocked.”

The Insect Clan Queen wasn’t very old, certainly older than Jia Yan by a bit. As he said these words, some notion was being birthed in his heart.

Since previous Evolutionary Creature predecessors couldn’t compare to her, then let him create a new Evolutionary Creature myth...

Thinking of this, Jia Yan’s initially troubled mood became somewhat calmer.

”Jia Yan, I saw the fighting spirit in your eyes, haha. It was just your kind of fighting spirit that attracted me back then. Then I secretly left some power on you and watched your later development silently. But unfortunately, back then, you were somewhat disappointing because your performance wasn’t as good as I imagined for the Evolutionary Creature tribe.”

Jia Yan nodded, and his heart throbbed. Could it be because she was disappointed? After the battle at the Grey-Yellow Star, she watched Jia Yan reach the Northern Star Domain, only to leave Jia Yan’s body because he no longer attracted her?

It’s quite possible, as Jia Yan disliked being spied on.

Only the reason the other party left was merely because Jia Yan disappointed her. Now thinking about it, the fact she came here must be because Jia Yan’s development surpassed her expectations, and she faced the truth herself, which is why she came back, right?

Sure enough, the Insect Clan Queen continued speaking, showing a bit of expression of awe towards Jia Yan.

”Maybe it was a bit of a misjudgment on my part. You’ve shown even greater talent after I left, continually climbing levels and defeating enemies. This was somewhat unexpected for me, although not yet meeting my satisfaction, I still felt it was necessary to meet you and talk about my original intention for wanting to see the Evolutionary Creature tribe.”

Original intention?

Jia Yan was slightly stunned, then became relieved. If the Insect Clan Queen hadn’t any other thoughts, she definitely wouldn’t follow someone like Jia Yan, who wasn’t even Star Space level.

And now, this original intention was about to be revealed; Jia Yan was even more eager to hear what she would say.

After all, the other party was a Domain Lord level power, even a rather powerful existence among the Domain Lords. For Jia Yan, an incident that even such an existence would be interested in made him even more eager to know what the contents were.

Of course, if there was anything dangerous, Jia Yan could completely refuse. Even if the other party was a Domain Lord level existence, as long as he refrained from letting her get close, he could use Subspace Talent to escape. Presumably, even the Domain Lord wouldn’t foolishly play hide and seek in the starry sky with him?

Moreover, according to Jia Yan’s view, this Insect Clan Queen had an extremely high opinion of herself and would definitely not resort to threatening the lives of starfield residents, which for Jia Yan was quite advantageous.

Thus, he wasn’t too fearful.

”Your Majesty, please speak.”

Jia Yan’s avatar nodded calmly, anticipating the words of his counterpart.

The Insect Clan Queen, seeing Jia Yan’s attitude seemed satisfied with his unyielding yet courteous demeanor, mildly sipped some liquor, causing a subtle blush to rise on her cheeks partly due to the alcohol, appearing quite lovely.

”As a Domain Master, and not an ordinary one at that, naturally I have ambitions to reach higher realms. And in this galaxy, the possibility of advancing to a higher realm requires reaching the Central Milky Way Starfield where more strong ones and geniuses reside. I’ve prepared for this for a long time, but due to insufficient talent reserve, I’ve always been unable to embark.”

”Uh? So your meaning is to make me part of your talent reserve?”

Jia Yan was slightly surprised. He hadn’t expected she was talking about this kind of matter; he thought it was about undertaking some life-and-death task.

”That’s correct, reaching our level, not wanting to advance is definitely unsatisfactory. Besides, my ambition is far from only that. My greatest future aspiration is... to unravel the Galaxy Level fog of the Milky Way, reaching unknown levels stronger than Galaxy Level, and then leave the star system that numerous strong beings cannot transcend for countless years, truly achieving universal exploration...”

What bold words!

After hearing the Insect Clan Queen’s words, Jia Yan’s heart surged with joy.

Know that her aspiration is genuinely vast, even something Jia Yan never dared to think after understanding the starry sky and many interstellar matters.

Breaking through Galaxy Level...

It sounds easy, but to actually accomplish it, how could it be so simple!

Inside the Milky Way, everyone knows the strongest is at Galaxy Level. That name seems to decree that without breaking Galaxy Level in this Milky Way, no one can truly leave the galaxy and step towards the universe.
