Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Exactly, these newly emerged strong beings from the Orion Arm are somewhat too bizarre, we are not escaping just to flee for our lives.”

The creatures fleeing ahead were actually finding all sorts of justifications for themselves, and now they were about to make their massive escape.

The Sky-level creatures chasing after them were not overly arrogant, after all, when it came to strength, the enemies were truly formidable. If the Sky-level beings scattered, they might reveal their weakened state and be attacked by the opponents.

”Quick, don’t get cocky, regroup in one area, we will divide into five teams, moving in five groups to hunt down. If we can chase them down, we will; if not, so be it.”

Wang Kai calmly issued commands within the team.

”Yes.”

The others showed no resistance to his orders, knowing that at first, they were quite skeptical of Wang Kai, an Earth person commanding them in battle. It was well-known in the Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region that Earth people were not known for their strength.

Fortunately, Wang Kai presented a different image of Earth people.

”Kill!”

The Sky-level squads split into five directions to chase, but because their numbers were reduced, they captured fewer enemies.

While the enemy escaped, they scattered into many formations, making it virtually impossible for these Sky-level teams to catch many of them.

When the enemies’ battleships accelerated from their initial speed-up phase to high-speed, Wang Kai and his squad found it impossible to catch up.

”Sigh, forget it, cease action, let’s regroup.”

Even these joint soldiers from the Orion Arm with superior strength couldn’t catch up to battleships far exceeding their speed.

In space battles, as it seems nowadays, facing strong enemies, Earth people rely heavily on speed. Unless you are like Jia Yan with Subspace Talent, it’s nearly impossible even for Galactic Level Powerhouses to match the speed of battleships.

The major problem for battleships, of course, is the significant time needed for acceleration. The faster the battleship eventually, the more time is required for initial acceleration.

Now, with the speeding up of the battleship fleet, these well-performing Orion Arm Sky-level beings couldn’t catch up.

Not mentioning the slightly disappointed Orion Arm Sky-level beings clearing the battlefield, let’s consider the fleeing enemy ships.

”Quickly, we’ve left the battlefield. We need to report this Orion Arm secret weapon to the superiors immediately.”

”Right, even though we lost and the Lord died, as long as we pass on this information, we will be forgiven and may even have our ranks promoted.”

In the fleeing battleships, soldiers and leaders breathed a sigh of relief once they realized the mysterious, strong Sky-level beings had stopped pursuing them.

Yet, they did not expect that in Subspace, several objects had been tailing each battleship all along.

When they thought they had completely escaped and the pursuers couldn’t detect them even with super radar or observation tools...

Boom.

An explosion sounded from within one of the ships.

Not just one, but an endless series of sounds emerged from these scattered fleeing ships.

”What the...?”

A high-ranking official was utterly shocked by the anomaly within his ship, yet before he could question it further, his command ship spontaneously self-detonated, completely swallowing him...

The one who acted was, of course, Jia Yan, who had been following these ships for quite some time.

With so many ships, it was difficult for him to personally destroy each one, and he also had to avoid revealing his involvement to his subordinates, which was a challenge for Jia Yan.

The scattered fleet spanned billions of kilometers, and even for someone as powerful as he was, catching every ship at high speed was daunting, wasn’t it?

However, Jia Yan did not solely rely on his power; he didn’t need to personally destroy each ship.

In practice, Jia Yan used small pebble-like objects he had prepared in Subspace beforehand.

Though not miraculous, if you recall the previous event, Jia Yan had used a similar combat technique before reaching Galaxy Level to deal with an assassin.

Now being at the Galaxy Level, with enhanced control over Subspace objects, and having mastered various avatars before, he could now manage more avatars. By considering these small stones as avatars to control, things became simpler.

Moreover, he didn’t intend to control these stones as meticulously as avatars, but rather prepared to conduct some ’mini-games’ of control, a simple task, wasn’t it?

Yet, this simple control led to countless ship explosions across the Starry Sky.

Indeed, Jia Yan was taking action, personally dealing with these ships.

He understood that his tactical arrangements had merely begun; even though he would reveal his capable soldiers in the future, a premature disclosure would trouble him if the enemies attacked first.

To avoid hassle, he wisely applied his powers to join the battle.

”Alright, in an instant, most were eliminated. For them, a mere hundred-ship fleet gone could merely seem like they fell into a trap laid by us in the Orion Arm, unlikely to suspect me.”

Jia Yan remained in Subspace without showing his true body.

Dealing with a fleet lacking even a Respect Level entity required him to deploy his true strength, then being a Galactic Level Beings would be too disgraceful.

Thus, this incident concluded entirely.

”Wang Kai, your performance this time was commendable. Superiors praised you, and similarly, others in the team contributed significantly to the battle, thus having meritorious recognition.”

Following the event’s conclusion, within their fleet, a senior lieutenant in charge found himself viewing Wang Kai and his team with newfound respect.

This lieutenant had initially lamented the prospects of success for such a mission once tasked from above.

Yet upon reflection, his inability to ascend to higher ranks was grounded in valid reasons.

Wang Kai and his party of Sky-level strong ones managed to wipe out a fleet nearly decimating their own side.

Including within it, even a Respectful Existence!

This was a massive piece of good news for the repeatedly retreating fleet. Moreover, Wang Kai’s underdog victory would undoubtedly boost the entire army’s morale.

As Wang Kai and others gracefully left after receiving accolades...

The vice-captain, left alone with a monstrous visage, silently returned to his desk and retrieved a report file.

The report read, ’Proposal for Joint Combat Method among New Warriors.’

”Hehe, being the first in the military to engage with the testers, certainly writing this proposal is within my duty, considering I am largely responsible for this matter.”
