Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Will the Orion Arm collapse at the first blow, or can it hold out for some time?

Jia Yan believed that the enemy’s strong ones, or Galaxy Level beings, would never appear to battle with the ordinary Orion Arm Fleet, just like Jia Yan would rarely engage with a regular fleet because it would only tarnish the dignity of a strong one.

”If they can hold out a little longer, I can continue to observe and simultaneously improve my strength, which will surely be helpful for unexpected situations in the future.”

Jia Yan hoped that the various fleets and subordinates of the Orion Arm could hold out a bit longer.

He absolutely could not make a move, even if his subordinates sustained casualties, because the enemy’s ultimate goal might be to force him, the strongest in the Orion Arm, and possibly their greatest asset, to appear.

But there’s a big problem here.

That is, during such a formidable enemy’s coming, Jia Yan, as the strongest, did not show up, which would be a tremendous blow to his subordinates.

Jia Yan couldn’t just point out to everyone that the enemy wants to lure him out, and once he comes out, it’s as good as losing, allowing the enemy forces to sweep in, leaving the Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region in ruins, possibly resulting in even more deaths.

Explaining it this way was useless, as many would surely think Jia Yan was just avoiding battle.

So Jia Yan also pondered, in such a war, how many would desert, or even surrender to the enemy.

He hadn’t thought of any very good solutions.

But while Jia Yan was troubled by this issue, he suddenly heard a piece of news whose protagonist resolved the drawback of his not personally going into battle!

It was —— Jia’s family.

Indeed, the key figure who helped this Galaxy Level existence Jia Yan, temporarily resolve such a troublesome issue, was unexpectedly Jia’s family, whom he didn’t expect much from.

The Jia family, existing as an extremely important presence in both the Orion Arm and the Biochemical Star Region, decided to stand up resolutely after learning that Jia Yan might not have many solutions to this issue.

”Princess of the Jia Family, Jia Qi, recently appeared in the Western War Zone for inspection, personally overseeing a campaign, and achieved a brilliant victory.”

”Jia Lin, the authority holder in the Jia family, and now reputed as the most influential woman in both the Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region, held a meeting concerning matters of life and death of the Starfield Alliance with heads of dozens of major allied nations in the Orion’s Arm Great Empire Region.”

”Jia Sheng, an elder member of the Jia family who has never appeared before, has frequently shown up before the public these days, teaching young people about patriotism and love for their homeland, relating it to the current warfare.”

...

Not just Jia Qi, but Jia Lin, Jia Ruo, Jia Rong, even Jia Yan’s parents, and even Jia Qi’s young child, Jia Bin, appeared in the media.

In this time of crisis, the Jia family changed from their usually low-key media image, where no media dared disturb them, frequently appearing in the media. Because of the Jia family members’ presence, they expressed many views on the war. Jia Qi herself even went to the battlefield, which served as an extremely important morale booster for the entire Orion Arm.

This stimulus caused many upper echelons of various fleets to regain their spirits, and even some were considering surrender suddenly reconsidered.

If surrendering is good, is abandoning one’s homeland and beliefs really okay?

This is the biggest question for all the enlisted soldiers: what is the reason for joining the war, and what are their ideals for enlisting?

Simply to protect their homeland and nation.

Then what does surrender mean? The noble entity of the Jia family is resisting the foreign enemy with them, what is there to fear?

All the soldiers had their morale boosted, more or less, due to the appearance of the Jia family.

Of course, this couldn’t be something that would be withdrawn immediately; the Jia family members would continue to expose themselves to the developments of the war, following it closely.

They firmly believed that at least it showed the example of the Jia family, which might positively impact the war.

In practice, the impact was indeed significant.

Even Jia Yan, who was still recuperating in another place, was shocked by the great deeds of his family.

”The data shows that military morale, which was initially wavering, has increased significantly, and even the number of young enlistees has risen. This is the same in any species or country, and my family surprisingly has such a good effect...”

Jia Yan was extremely surprised because although he knew the Jia family had an enormous reputation in the Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region, he did not know if this reputation could be translated into influence. Now, with this scene, the reputation was indeed astonishingly terrifying.

The data best reflects everything. The data in Jia Yan’s hands, of course, was real and instructive, showing that the Jia family made many statements and became opinion leaders after frequent appearances near the battlefield or personally on the front lines.

The entire home front has reached unprecedented unanimity in opposing the enemy.

”Very good, Mom and Dad, as well as Little Lin and Xiao Qi, your efforts have not been in vain, and now our advantage is beginning to re-establish itself once again.”
