Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

He tore open the subspace and quickly emerged into the external universe from within it.

For Jia Yan, living in subspace almost felt natural, but staying there for too long was uncomfortable, and people tended to become a bit reclusive.

So he still wanted to come out and wander around more often.

However, Jia Yan’s emergence was a major event for the entire Orion Arm and the civilization in the area where he appeared.

”He’s out, the Mosquito Ancestor has emerged.”

”Congratulations to the Ancestor on his significant advancement in strength after his retreat.”

In the territory of that elf-like species, many creatures from various realms had come to curry favor, insisting on waiting for Jia Yan. Now that he had appeared, one by one, they came to welcome him.

However, Jia Yan had no intention of entangling with them. After accepting a grand welcoming ceremony, he ordered the well-wishers to leave.

Jia Yan knew exactly what they wanted. Psychologically, he wasn’t entirely opposed to these sycophants, but such things were only tolerable once or twice; too much was uncomfortable even for Jia Yan.

Fortunately, these flatterers vaguely understood the ”know when to stop” principle, so after Jia Yan thanked them for their congratulations, they tactfully departed one by one.

”How is the grand construction I spoke of recently progressing?”

Once the crowd dispersed, Jia Yan finally had the time to speak with a subordinate who was also present—Luo Longsi.

As a close subordinate of Jia Yan, Luo Longsi was assigned to manage this starfield, so she could wait outside Jia Yan’s retreat location.

”They’re doing quite well, but perhaps still a bit short of your requirements, Lord.”

Luo Longsi still had the image of a green-leaf beauty, but her physique was overly large, like an extremely abnormal beautiful monster.

”Hmm, I didn’t expect the massive construction I described to be completed in just a few years, but for this type of construction, you must ensure no unscrupulous merchants enter the supply chain, or they’ll suffer the consequences in the future.”

Jia Yan silently made some judgments and assessments about what he needed to do in the future.

”Yes, I understand, Lord. Then I’ll take my leave now.”

Luo Longsi also knew Jia Yan had matters to attend to, and she clearly understood that Jia Yan could receive external information anytime from anywhere, so asking her for an update was just to get her confirmation. After a brief report on work, she took her leave.

Jia Yan looked at this female subordinate who had now reached middle-level Stellar strength from a distance. Luo Longsi increasingly resembled a proper subordinate. He couldn’t help but wonder where that subordinate who once had a slight affection for him had gone.

What Jia Yan didn’t know was that his power hindered those female strong ones who had a fondness for him, like Luo Longsi, and also like Empress Karma of the Country of Taia.

These women had a good impression of Jia Yan, and Jia Yan couldn’t say he was entirely indifferent to them. After all, if they didn’t have humanoid appearances, they might not have the same interaction with Jia Yan as they did now. But one thing was certain, any liking Jia Yan had for them was not of a romantic nature.

So while the falling flowers yearned for love, the flowing water was merciless. The most regrettable situation in the world befell these female creatures.

Fortunately, after Jia Yan reached Galaxy Level, this type of disturbance lessened because, even if the females indulged in wishful thinking, they understood that developing any personal relationship with a Galaxy Level Lord was highly unlikely due to the vast difference in power.

”I won’t think about it too much now. Let’s see how much of my task they’ve completed...”

Jia Yan opened the detailed construction report to review.

”Not bad. In the Biochemical Star Region, where the industry is already relatively developed and which our Orion Arm previously occupied half of, the progress is surprisingly fast. They’ve almost completed the task volume I assigned. In the future, they might have the opportunity to help construct other places. Of course, they can’t do it for free; otherwise, other places’ finances would be strained... Just using the finances of these years, there might still be a chance to pull through.”

Jia Yan looked at the half of the Biochemical Star Region initially occupied by the Orion Arm. It was the most industrially developed area under his subordinates, even leading the total output of the Orion Arm by more than five times.

After all, from the beginning, the Biochemical Star Region was far stronger than the Orion Arm, with a significantly larger gap even among the Strong Ones. Otherwise, the Biochemical Star Region’s one or two civilizations or forces wouldn’t have almost driven the Orion Arm to the brink of extinction.

Although the Orion Arm had rapidly replicated and caught up with the Biochemical Star Region over the decades, the actual gap remained substantial. You couldn’t bridge a gap of thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of years in just a few decades, could you?

So the production gap was understandable as well.

Next in line with high output was the Orion Arm, particularly the originally strongest nation in the Orion Arm, which once called itself the ”Great Empire” but later changed its name. Its productivity ranking was the highest. It was almost completing one-third of the production capacity Jia Yan desired, and the nation’s comprehensive production capacity was truly remarkable.

And next, the most lagging behind was the half of the Biochemical Star Region territory that had just been recovered as part of it.

In that half of the Biochemical Star Region territory, there were remnants of the old, weak, sick, and disabled of the Biochemical Star Region. Let alone production capacity; it’s uncertain whether it can even operate properly now.
