Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1987: Chapter 25: Controller

While controlling those beetle creatures, Jia Yan was also inquiring about their understanding of this world.

In the previous forest, Jia Yan didn’t have a direct opportunity to ask others about their knowledge of this world, and besides the Grand Elder who had ventured out of the forest, the other creatures there didn’t have much insight.

But the creatures in this Giant City were different; each of them had extensive contact with the giants, so their information would naturally be richer.

”The Giant Tribe is indeed among the pinnacle species in this world?”

”However, within the Giant Tribe, are there individuals much stronger than ordinary giants? Yet, is there still another race capable of contending with them?”

Jia Yan slowly grasped certain compositions of this world.

For instance, what he perceived as Stellar level beings were all universally referred to as ’Entering the Path Stage’ in this world.

Even someone like the Grand Elder was barely at the peak of the Entering the Path Stage. Interestingly, this Entering the Path Stage encompassed such a vast range that even if a child occasionally grasped a superficial understanding of the Path, they might not even triumph over an ordinary Earth Rank from the outside, yet would still be deemed Entering the Path Stage.

As this stage represents the lowest level of evaluation in this world, it reveals an abundance of significant information.

The first thing Jia Yan could think of was that the power of this world was likely far beyond what he had previously imagined.

Even after coming to this world, where Jia Yan already viewed it highly, he now realized it was even more formidable than he had thought, primarily because a mere early stage of Entering the Path encompassed such a broad power leap. If not for higher power levels beyond, it wouldn’t be defined so broadly.

Since these beetle creatures were vague about the levels beyond Entering the Path, Jia Yan was uncertain about what levels followed, but he knew there must be several more significant levels, possibly even more.

There were rumors of ’Immortals’ in this world. Jia Yan had sensed something from the term ’Path’ long ago, so he had no doubts about this. Here, the so-called ’Immortals’ could be translated into Earth’s western gods or something like Buddhist entities. Generally speaking, they’re akin to a divine existence.

If such beings truly existed and could become godlike Strong Ones in this world, Jia Yan couldn’t imagine the terrifying power they would possess.

”If such beings entered the outside Universe, the Galaxy Level or Domain Master Level wouldn’t even be worthy of carrying their shoes. None of these, not even Strong Ones a level higher than Entering the Path emerging from this world, would compare to those Domain Masters out there,” he thought.

The more knowledge Jia Yan acquired about this world, the more he felt a chilling trepidation.

The power levels of the Strong Ones were far beyond what he imagined, and for the creatures in this world, it seemed like the entire place was indeed boundless.

Jia Yan couldn’t even imagine whether this world, or the land beneath his feet, was a planet or something else entirely.

If it were a planet, then how large could this planet possibly be?

A single giant’s house starts at a minimum of ten thousand kilometers—just one Earth would be about that big. And this Giant City’s number of such houses was by the thousands or tens of thousands, meaning the city’s size would exceed the Sun by an unimaginable extent.

With the city being like this, the vastness of the outside world was still an enigma to Jia Yan. At least, it took him two days to travel with a family of giants to reach this Giant City, making it easy to guess just how large this world is given the giants’ stride...

”This world exceeds my imagination in many ways, and perhaps I’ve been referring to my previous universal region as the ’outside’, but if this place doesn’t merely match the size of the Milky Way, then this is the true outside, and the Milky Way ought to be called the inside,” he thought.

Such thoughts, when contemplated thoroughly, became increasingly terrifying. Jia Yan felt an intense shock as he continued to dwell on them.

Anyway, given his current strength, he couldn’t ponder these matters clearly, so he straightforwardly chose not to think about them.

”Lord, if you don’t start considering how to deal with the Controller, you’ll definitely end up in trouble. Since we’re helping you, we’ll likely be in trouble as well, so you need to thoroughly plan how to respond if the Controller comes your way,”

A beetle creature, seemingly a leader among them, kindly advised Jia Yan.

Jia Yan forcibly kept them by his side, and he even wanted them to help him ’manage a million miles around’, which was utterly ridiculous. A million miles around meant fully offending that Controller, potentially even completely annexing his territory. This would truly result in a lethal conflict.

Of course, the situation wasn’t much different now. The Cang Wu Jia Yan had killed was actually someone tacitly protected by the Controller. His ancestors had some acquaintance with the Controller, so Cang Wu’s territory had never really faced any trouble from other creatures. The cluster of beetle creatures dared to cause trouble only because they had a bit of a connection with the Controller as well.
