Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The Earthlings’ enlistment went extremely smoothly. Not only that, but even the developed industries quickly started transitioning their roles in preparation for war.

When Jia Yan returned to Earth, this was the scene that greeted him.

Even the pollution that had been largely eliminated had returned to the sky, worse than before, with nearly half of the Earth shrouded in smoke and dust.

”With this determination, our Earth will not perish!”

Jia Yan nodded, then instead of heading straight back to Jia’s family, he took a space cabin directly to the Earthlings Temporary Headquarters in Shanghu.

Below the great earth, there were still lights everywhere, but compared to Jia Yan’s previous return, there were far fewer neon lights shining, and more factories near the city were brightly lit, as well as recruitment offices ablaze with lights.

The entire world, with Earth’s population back to more than five billion, began a synchronized mobilization once again.

Not only Earth, but as Jia Yan had seen earlier, similar scenes were happening in many small settlements in the Solar System. Even those aliens, mostly from the Grey-Yellow Star who had moved here, considered themselves part of Earth civilization and began frantically mobilizing.

Although they were few in number, having developed to only a few tens of millions over a decade, their combat power was not weak. In a real fight, Earthlings without Great Empire Battleships would certainly lose against them.

Fortunately, despite the delicate relationship between Earthlings and them, the trend of integration had begun, and acceptance on both sides was growing. It is believed that through this complete mobilization, those alien species would more or less merge with the Earthlings.

And in the interstellar space, a large group of personnel who had been in the military were already gathered. They were piloting the ancient battleships familiar to Earthlings, assembling in the starry sky, waiting for the Guardian Deity of the Earthlings to arrive.

”Lord Jia Yan, you’ve returned?!”

When Jia Yan stepped into the temporary command center that operated 24/7, almost all high-level officials were waiting there.

”Very good, you’ve done well, and the Earthlings have not disappointed me.” These were Jia Yan’s first words,

His affirmation carried no trace of officialese, but was spoken with great seriousness because he saw that in these twenty years, the Earthlings hadn’t settled into complacency after the end of the war.

”The Lord’s approval is an honor for us, but our combat power currently seems insufficient. Do you think we Earthlings can really defeat the enemy?”

A high-ranking officer from the Stars and Stripes Country, seemingly a five-star general from their nation, asked Jia Yan in fluent Huaxia language.

The Stars and Stripes Country People didn’t hold high expectations for Jia Yan, and Jia’s family had always had a lukewarm relationship with the Stars and Stripes Country, so he dared to question Jia Yan now.

”Defeat?” Jia Yan looked at him and then shook his head, disappointing him: ”Impossible to defeat.”

”What? Even Lord Jia Yan believes it’s impossible for us to defeat them? Are Earthlings doomed to extinction? This, this, this.”

”If we can’t defeat them, we must arrange an escape plan now. Even if not all Earthlings can be sent to another star, at least some seeds must be sent away, or we won’t even be able to preserve the last remnants of Earth humans.”

”Even Lord Jia Yan asserts that we are destined to lose?”

As soon as Jia Yan spoke his words, the entire Earth high command present lost their composure.

In the past, Jia Yan had always been a reassuring presence, but now he directly said before the war even started that it was impossible to defeat the enemy. This was tantamount to declaring that Earthlings were doomed.

But Jia Yan’s response was not words of despair.

”Don’t rush to conclusions. I said it’s impossible to win, but I never said Earthlings will perish.”

The high-ranking officials were slightly stunned.

The current leader of Huaxia, with a slight wry smile, asked Jia Yan a question.

”Lord Jia Yan, there seems to be some contradiction in your words. If we can’t defeat the enemy, shouldn’t we perish? Unless there are reinforcements, please stop teasing us and tell us.”

Jia Yan looked around at the group of high-ranking officials, most of whom were already on edge because of his words. Some of them were so frightened that they turned pale. It’s imaginable that if he left without explanation, these high-positioned people might go back and try to find a way to evacuate some of their family’s children to another star for survival.

Even if they managed to escape, they wouldn’t know where to go, or if they could survive for long, but at least it would be leaving some chance for survival.

Jia Yan sighed long and deeply, then calmly nodded while looking at the Huaxia leader who had just spoken: ”Yes, we have reinforcements. As long as Earthlings resist with all their might, it won’t be long before our reinforcements arrive.”

”Uh!? Reinforcements, could it be the Great Empire? That should be impossible, the Great Empire is preoccupied with its own issues and unlikely to care about Earth’s matters.”

The group of high-ranking officials was at a loss.

But Jia Yan only told them this much, without revealing the true identity, that the ’Giant Mosquito Clan’ as Earthlings knew them, would come to aid in their relief. Given the circumstances, Earthlings’ understanding of the Giant Mosquito Clan was also not enough to save Earth.

Better to keep it mysterious, and let facts speak for themselves.

With Jia Yan’s assurance, the Earth high command finally gained more confidence.

But what was bound to happen did happen. Just after Jia Yan finished discussing the specific matters of war with a group of high-ranking officials and stepped out of the conference hall overnight, he sensed that in certain places on Earth, some mysterious large escape ships were taking off.

”Forget it. If they want to go and suffer in the universe, I can’t stop them. But those officials will definitely be replaced once the crisis is over.”

Jia Yan looked up indifferently, not feeling angry.

Because such things are human nature, even for him, if the battle really didn’t go well and he couldn’t make it there in time, he would also send the Jia family off Earth.

Breathing in the fresh morning air, he slowly flew back to the Jia Family Land from the sky.

Due to his injury, Jia Yan did not fly very fast.

”Uncle, you’re back.”

Just as Jia Yan was approaching the Jia Family buildings, a figure rose up from the ground.

It was a cute, petite girl with a slightly adorable baby face, looking both childish and carrying the unique youthful aura of a young girl.

She was a girl that any Earth person would deeply like upon seeing. But what stood out more than her pretty appearance was her identity, which was undeniably the first princess among Earth people, ’Jia Qi.’

Of course, Jia’s family never claimed the title of princess openly; it was something Earth people called her, and over time, it became accepted as reality. Even if Jia Qi jumped up and said she wasn’t a princess, no one would believe her.

”Hmm, Little Qiqi, it seems you’re looking good. Didn’t face any punishment when you got back from mom?”

Jia Yan looked playfully at his little niece flying up; this little one seemed not at all upset. Could it be that she went to the Kawai Defense Line and wasn’t punished upon returning?

”Uh, yeah, mom hit me hard, but I’m not afraid; she’s not even Earth Level, and it didn’t hurt.”

Jia Qi stuck out her little tongue, cutely whispering to Jia Yan, ”Uncle, don’t tell mom, I pretended it hurt at the time. If she finds out, she’ll surely think of another way to punish me.”

Jia Yan shook his head with a slight smile.

Younger sister Jia Lin probably knows this but doesn’t have many ways to deal with her daughter; after all, Jia Qi is almost at the Heavenly Peak level, and as an ordinary person, her mother doesn’t really have many ways to punish her.

At least Jia Qi still has a sense of fear, which is better than relying on strength and not respecting her parents at all.

”Hmm? Jia Rong is already at the Heavenly Peak and about to break through to the Star Space Level?!”

Jia Yan had just landed on Jia Family Land with Jia Qi, and due to the delayed perception caused by his injuries, he immediately sensed a change inside a house.

”Yeah, Uncle. I thought you knew; a while ago, Aunt just successfully advanced to the Star Space Level, and now it’s cousin’s turn. His talent is really good; I haven’t even reached the Heavenly Peak yet, and he’s already surpassed me by so much.”

Jia Qi responded to Jia Yan, seemingly upset about being surpassed by her cousin so much.

After all, she possessed Brainwave Power from a young age, and now being overtaken by a little boy was naturally frustrating, even though Jia Rong’s physique seemed quite unusual.

”You’re already very impressive.” Jia Yan slightly shook his head.

At the same time, he was surprised. So, Samo Ling also advanced to the Star Space Level? No wonder he had faintly sensed non-weak energy fluctuations within Jia Family Land earlier.

After sensing Jia Rong’s breakthrough, Jia Yan was reassured. The child’s physique inherited a trace of his True Body’s bloodline, and his mother’s genes were good too. Now, merely advancing to the Star Space Level posed no real bottlenecks or dangers.

”Uncle, uncle!”

Just after sensing Jia Rong’s breakthrough, a bouncing little figure, almost identical to a younger Jia Qi, ran out from the house.

She threw herself into Jia Yan’s embrace, her joyful demeanor was quite infectious.

”Brother, you’re back. Another bunch of years away again, you should come back more often, sigh.”

Following the little girl was the familiar face of Jia Lin.

Jia Yan felt a bit sentimental. After acquiring the Great Empire Medicine, his sister’s appearance had reversed in age, now back to looking 18 or 19 years old, pleasant and displeased, making him reminisce about those past times.

After catching up with his sister and brother-in-law, he also went to see his parents. Jia Yan was pleased to see that not only his sister but even his parents, who should have been in their sixties, had returned to their prime. Jia Yan even thought his mother seemed to be in her thirties, which greatly satisfied him.

The simple fact that his parents could live long lives made all the storms he had weathered over the years worthwhile.

However, if this crisis could not be overcome, then all these happy things would turn to sorrow.

After seeing them upon his return, Jia Yan was even more determined in his decision to defend against the enemy!
