Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1494: Chapter 2: Seriously Injured! [Request for official subscription]

Jia Yan originally did not want his avatar to fight again, after all, in the face of this level of military conflict, its power was already somewhat inadequate, not to mention the opponent might even have stronger forces, perhaps even rivaling his true body.

But if he could do something with this body, it might at least slow down the speed of the enemy’s attack a bit.

Just as Jia Yan was thinking this, he caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye of an external forces fleet quickly advancing several thousand kilometers away in the interstellar space, seemingly coming to rescue the ten battleships from before.

”Fight...”

He moved his avatar’s torso, and a ruthless gleam flashed in his eyes!

Not long after, within the original Kawai Defense Line, within an extremely large-scale military fortress...

”What? The so-called strongest in the Orion Arm has appeared again?”

”Hmph, I thought he wouldn’t dare come out, yet he still shows himself. In this situation, what’s the use of him appearing?”

”However, such a strong one is indeed somewhat obstructive to us. Card Stand, you go deal with him.”

”Yes!”

In this military fortress, a terrifying creature angrily strode out of the fortress.

The war had lasted for several months, and the Empire and Civilizations near the original Kawai Defense Line in the Orion Arm were attacked by the Biological Army of the external forces one by one.

With the power of the Strong Ones, science and technology level, and even the fleet size all at a disadvantage, no civilization could organize an effective counterattack, some even disgracefully surrendered.

But those surrendered civilizations did not meet a good end, as when the enemy installed the external environmental machines within those civilizations, vast stretches of ordinary creatures perished, tantamount to a genocide.

”What Kawai Defense Line, what Orion Arm Powerhouse, what Great Empire, it’s all bullshit, our civilization is dying because of them!”

”They say those external creatures came here for something of the Great Empire, it’s outrageous that because of this thing, our entire Orion Arm is in crisis; he is our real enemy.”

”Exactly, and as for Lord Jia Yan, he once seemed heroic, but now? Some have long said he’s an external creature, and I see they’re not wrong; he’s just a high-level infiltrator. We’ve all been deceived by him.”

”Um, Lord Jia Yan isn’t necessarily a bad person, it’s just that he protects his own civilization too tightly, his Earth civilization hasn’t suffered any casualties, right? Now that the external creatures are invading, one day they’ll reach Earth, let’s see how he can stand by then.”

On a civilized planet under enemy attack, ordinary creature residents were on the verge of collapse.

They knew that while the occupying forces didn’t directly kill them, merely gathering the creatures together, death was still the only thing waiting for them.

So they began to hate, not just the Great Empire responsible for all this, but also Jia Yan, who seemed not to have fought with all his might in the war.

The Great Empire, though not pinpointing, subtly shifted the blame of the defeat at the Kawai Defense Line onto Jia Yan, after all, this proclaimed strongest in the Orion Arm didn’t fight at the critical moment.

Of course, Jia Yan was from Earth, and Earth civilization was merely an Elementary Civilization, having no stake in the Kawai Defense Line; it was understandable he didn’t risk his life to fight there, didn’t one of the Great Empire’s two Strongest, Flame, also withdraw from the battlefield without fighting in the end?

Yet some affected ordinary creatures placed the blame on Jia Yan.

”Forget it, we’re all doomed, what’s the point of blaming these high and mighty Strong Ones? It’s not like they’ll suddenly appear and rescue us just because we cursed them.”

On this celestial body, pessimism pervaded, but they still dared not resist.

”If anyone shows up to save us, I will be his loyal follower for life, but alas, these high and mighty beings simply won’t care about the life and death of creatures as insignificant as us.”

Some bitter smiles sounded in the shadowy corners.

Indeed, for the entire Orion Arm, a planet’s creatures or even a civilization is not that significant, no one would believe that under such circumstances of being in enemy hands, a savior would appear.

Yet ironically, a savior did appear!

Boom!!

Just when all the star creatures were at their most despairing, a thunderous explosion resounded in the occupying army’s powder magazine.

As the powder magazine exploded, screams and roars erupted everywhere, as if those occupying forces were under attack by some terrifying enemy.

But the entire populace on the star never responded.

By the time they did react, the battle within the star was already at its final moment.

A single creature, its Brainwave Power sweeping, occasionally entering subspace to annihilate strong enemies.

In just over half an hour, the powder magazines that should explode had exploded, and the Strong Ones that should be killed were killed.

”Residents of Macro Star, what are you afraid of at this moment? My name is Jia Yan, and I’m here to help you, now pick up your weapons and open the gates to freedom.”

As this voice echoed almost in the minds of every ordinary creature, all the original inhabitants of the star went crazy!

”Lord Jia Yan? Is it really Lord Jia Yan who came to rescue us?”

”Oh my, I was just speaking ill of Lord Jia Yan, I was wrong, it turns out Lord Jia Yan does care about creatures like us, if we can get rescued, I will surely become a lifelong follower of Lord Jia Yan.”

”Haha, charge! Lord has already opened the door for us to survive, now it’s up to us.”

The residents all rushed out of their homes and engaged in a life-or-death struggle with the remaining external soldiers.

Inside this enemy’s temporary headquarters on the planet, there was indeed a faint figure standing.

It was Jia Yan.

”Since my avatar can’t cause significant losses to the enemy’s army head-on, I will sabotage their rear one by one. With their backyard on fire, their advance will be slowed down, won’t it?”

This was Jia Yan’s plan.

On the frontline battlefield, this avatar of his really couldn’t play a big role. Facing thousands of battleships, even Jia Yan’s avatar could only escape when they fired volleys.

But attacking the rear was different. Utilizing his spaceship’s speed and personal subspace ability, there was practically no place within the Orion Arm that he couldn’t reach. Attacking a rear planet unexpectedly left the enemy completely unprepared.

This was the third planet he had attacked in a similar manner.

Originally, this was the border of a civilization within the Orion Arm, now occupied by external forces’ army, with citizens praying for rescue by Strong Ones.

Jia Yan’s solo raid earned gratitude from the rescued creatures.

Coincidentally, the biological quality within this civilization was generally high. They seized the external creatures’ battleships, and although they couldn’t master combat skills immediately, they were good enough to escape.

Then all the creatures of the planet began a great escape, causing chaos in the rear starry sky.

In this chaos, Jia Yan’s figure disappeared again.

”Damn it! That Jia Yan is too cunning, we chased him here, and he ran away again.”

Not long after Jia Yan disappeared, a fleet arrived, too lazy to chase the various fleeing ordinary biological aircraft, only searching for Jia Yan’s figure.

But Jia Yan had already left, so they couldn’t find anything.

This certainly caused great anger on the opposing side.

Within the fleet, a massive creature was almost furious.

”I, a dignified semi-permanent star level existence, can’t even catch a Dignitary, it’s simply a joke. You better calculate the next place he might appear, and if you can’t catch him again, you’re all dead.”

The massive creature was almost exasperated, speaking words that made the surrounding subordinates shiver with fear.

There was no choice. In starry space, with a space cabin and a Space Talent, Jia Yan was focused on evading, making it really difficult to catch him amid the vast starry sky.

But catching him was imperative, the destruction he caused in a few days had affected the army’s advance.

”Fortunately, Jia Yan didn’t attack any important outpost planets, or our losses would have been enormous.” The semi-permanent star level existence found fortune in misfortune.

But this kind of death curse is not something to be said casually!

Half a day after speaking those words, urgent intelligence from the rear arrived.

”What? Jia Yan actually attacked one of our important outposts! Two secondary level Generals died, important energy supplies were detonated!? This...this...”

The semi-permanent star creature almost spewed blood in anger.

”Chase, chase, chase! I don’t believe Jia Yan, this little eel, can escape our army’s pursuit.”

”Furthermore, send out the message to set ambushes at certain outposts, ensure Jia Yan comes without returning.”

The pursuit continued for several days.

The news of Jia Yan’s attacks in the enemy’s rear spread through some lucky surviving creatures in the Orion Arm, possibly intensifying resistance from external forces, slightly reducing Jia Yan’s pressure in the enemy’s rear.

Yet despite this, the pressure on him continued to increase.

”The last outpost planet I attacked, the proactive defense artillery almost annihilated this avatar, terrifying.”

On the pitch-black interstellar, a space cabin with almost depleted energy quietly docked on the surface of some cosmic material.

In the space cabin was Jia Yan’s avatar. If seen by Earth people, his human body would definitely shock them.

Because this body now bore a dreadful wound emerging from the abdomen, obliterating half the body with visible internal organs.

However, this body was not a real biological entity, nor was its Life Support System an ordinary biological system, hence he could survive.

Yet due to the special physique, although the avatar hadn’t died, he couldn’t heal quickly either.

It could only be described as barely holding on.

The more terrifying part was yet to come.

”Haha, Jia Yan, our newly developed detector has already located you here, you better come out voluntarily!”
