Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Over there, the true body made another move to return to the Ting Tian Pavilion, only this time he was piloting the immense Adisa.

And with this, Jia Yan’s strength once again reached its peak, and what remained was the honing of his true body’s strength.

After all, his true body’s actual strength was merely that of a Dignitary. Although he wasn’t just an ordinary Dignitary, without the help of the battle armor and the black hole, his combat power was at best comparable to that of a sub-master genius, perhaps not even matching a high-level talent secondary barrier genius.

Yet strength is strength, and Jia Yan’s prowess is undeniable.

Once the matters on the true body’s side were settled, he focused his mind on his avatar.

Lately, Jia Yan has been rushing between two ends, almost feeling on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Fortunately, he is one of the Strong Ones, and Brainwave Power has been something he cultivated from the beginning, so he can still bear the mental burden.

”Phew, this spacefaring vessel that received a super energy refill from the Kawai Defense Line is indeed impressive.”

Jia Yan piloted his spacecraft; although it was incredibly small, its speed was unparalleled, managing to return to Earth from the defense line in less than a month.

Another batch of supplies needed to be sent over from the line, making Jia Yan come back to organize things; otherwise, the Earth people’s upper echelons would be clueless.

Just as Jia Yan entered the Solar System and approached Earth, his expression suddenly changed inside the spacecraft.

Then, Jia Yan entered subspace, and with the next flicker, he appeared over ten kilometers above the azure Earth in the stratosphere.

Originally, this was a relatively calm region within Earth’s atmosphere.

But today was different, with a huge change in the area.

Even from below, cries of astonishment could be heard, with some people believing it to be the end of the world.

And this was precisely why Jia Yan hurriedly arrived on Earth.

The entire sky was dyed red by twisted forces. Amidst a rosy glow, a huge battleship, two or three kilometers long, was plummeting headlong into Earth’s atmosphere.

If such a massive object were to hit the ground, it would be akin to a massive extinction event. While Earth wouldn’t instantly see everyone perish, its future would certainly be unlivable.

This was a catastrophe.

But in the face of this disaster, Jia Yan appeared once more!

”What kind of piloting skill is this!”

Jia Yan flashed in front of the falling huge battleship and held it on his palm.

”So heavy!”

Jia Yan’s heart skipped a beat; the massive battleship falling carried such a force that his avatar didn’t want to catch it directly. However, given the urgent situation, he had no choice.

Thud, thud, thud, thud!!

The entire sky was ablaze with sparks; the once sturdy surface on the head of the battleship bore a handprint.

Then Jia Yan used his Brainwave Power, and under this immense force, the two-kilometer-long battleship was forcibly turned in direction, from plummeting downwards to ascending once again.

Jia Yan put forth all his avatar’s strength, knowing that holding up such a massive battleship was tougher than exterminating the creatures within it; after all, no one is a natural-born Herculean.

Fortunately, the avatar’s composition was decent, and despite the limited remaining Brainwave Power, he managed this great feat.

He pushed the falling battleship back into the atmosphere, several hundred kilometers away, and only then did Jia Yan breathe a slight sigh of relief.

While he accomplished this feat, a city on Earth below originally believing its end had come, watched as the battleship, destined to fall, seemingly soared back up, forcibly decelerating and ascending again.

”It’s Lord Jia Yan! I captured him with a high-definition camera.”

”Haha, it’s Lord Jia Yan, indeed. Whenever Earth faces a crisis, the Lord always appears. Truly, the Lord is our Earth’s Guardian Deity.”

The city’s residents rejoiced, but Jia Yan had no time to listen to their celebrations.

”What’s going on with you guys? How are you piloting the battleship?”

Jia Yan glared at the battleship before him, nearly boiling with rage.

Remember, he’s dedicated to protecting Earth, so using such immense power, only for Earth people to one day crash their battleship into Earth and destroy it, would undoubtedly be history’s biggest joke.

That’s right, on this battleship, there’s a team of battleship soldiers from Earth.

Their configuration is not bad, with more than a thousand people, enough to operate this battleship, yet previously in a rush they made mistakes at every position.

If Jia Yan hadn’t returned, this battleship might have actually performed a self-destruct action on Earth, leaving Jia Yan with no place to cry if that happened.

More than a thousand people heard Jia Yan’s angry command through brainwave power, and everyone could tell that this strongest being, rumored to be very kind to Earthlings, was genuinely angry.

He had every right to be angry, they would be angry too in his place, but what could be done? This is how the battleship turned out when they operated it.

”Lord, it’s like this: we just received the battleship sent by the Great Empire, so we wanted to try it out. Previously, with the help of an instructor from the Great Empire, we didn’t do too badly. But when we operated it ourselves, we found we couldn’t handle it.”

Finally, a commander stepped out to take responsibility for his actions.

They understood that committing this mistake, regardless of reason, had ruined their career path, and even if not, he wouldn’t dare command a battleship again in the future. His mistake was too great; if Lord Jia Yan weren’t there, Earth could have been destroyed by his own hands.

He reflected and thus took responsibility.

”A battleship from the Great Empire, is it?”

Jia Yan listened and immediately understood the reason for the situation with his quick thinking.

To Earthlings, the battleships of the Great Empire are too advanced. Even if they’re not allowed to understand the principles, certain hurdles can’t be overcome, making proper operation impossible.

Indeed, Earthlings couldn’t even properly use ready-made weapons, which led to the earlier scene.

It’s like asking a rural old man to fly a jet; it’s a miracle if he doesn’t crash it right away.

Therefore, operating the battleship was similar for the Earthlings. Even after being taught, they faced operational problems, detection issues, and even struggle to open hatches. Under such conditions, with the high speed of the battleship, it was indeed possible to crash into Earth.

”Sigh. I can’t blame you, but the responsibility is too great. Go back and accept your punishment. From now on, make a law that prohibits learning to operate battleships near Earth’s ecosystem. Also, regulate the training mechanism for future civilian ships. Understand?”

”Yes, I understand. I will help the Lord relay the message.”

The commander, knowing Jia Yan’s character, realized that being told to relay the order was to help alleviate his guilt somewhat, as Jia Yan was doing him a favor.

He only expressed gratitude towards Jia Yan without saying much else, understanding that the Lord’s time was too precious.

It’s good that no great calamity occurred; this potential risk must be eliminated in the future.

Jia Yan breathed a slight sigh of relief, then took flight towards Earth.

This mission primarily involved helping Earth receive the Imperial battleships, but he also intended to spend quality time with his family.

Arriving at Jia’s family, Jia Yan found that a uniquely constructed battleship from the Great Empire had already been activated. A servant sent by the Great Empire was about to start the battleship.

The surrounding guards were extremely vigilant.

”Alright, Uncle is back, so everything’s fine now.”

On the battleship, a girl around sixteen or seventeen, already showing the makings of a stunning beauty, called out loudly to the guards protecting her.

As it turns out, this battleship was meant to be an escape ship for the Jia family in times of crisis. It was also specially crafted with significant investment by the Great Empire, comparable to the exclusive escape ships used by the Great Empire’s royalty.

When the battleship appeared to crash earlier, there was immediate action on Earth. The Jia family was exceptionally tense and managed to transfer a group of people onto the battleship within minutes. Even if the crashing battleship hit the ground, those within this escape ship would remain unharmed.

”These guards aren’t bad; there are even a few Star Space Level ones among them.”

Jia Yan nodded slightly, witnessing the scene.

These Star Space Level individuals were also recent off-world arrivals as guards who admired Jia Yan for his fearsome reputation and thus held great respect for his family members as well.

Of course, not just anyone could become a guard. In the Orion Arm, there were many Star Space Level beings, yet many desired to become a guard for the Jia family. To do so officially required extensive investigation. Should a guard harm Jia’s family, the civilization that sent the guard would face grave consequences, and Jia Yan would destroy their civilization completely, which would be a great catastrophe.

”Alright, I’ve sent the battleship back to space. You can lift the security alert.”

Jia Yan descended to the ground and used brainwave power to communicate to the surrounding guards.

The guards, some of them bizarre-looking creatures and others appearing as Earthlings, were chosen not to frighten the Jia family, hence were picked to be close to human or aesthetically pleasing.

The guards were ecstatic upon witnessing Jia Yan land. They knew they were individuals sent from various civilizations, each carrying certain missions. These missions were not to attack the Jia family but to be related to Jia Yan.

For example, asking Jia Yan for help or simply forging good relationships with him or pleasing him in some way.

However, their status was far inferior to Jia Yan’s. When Jia Yan told them to stand down, they dared not say a word and instead saluted Jia Yan before leaving.
