Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1496: Chapter 4: Giving Up Dominance [Requesting Official Subscription]

In Jia Yan’s mind, certain ripples were not simply because his avatar was assisted.

A few hurried hours passed, and it was time to part.

”Live well, I’ll be back in no more than a month.”

These were the careful words Jia Yan said as he was urged with smiles by several beings to board the battleship, and entered the charged space cabin.

A month...

It wasn’t an exaggeration, because the true body was getting closer.

”Haha, we naturally believe in you, Lord, but there’s no need to worry about us. Perhaps in the meantime, we will find another energy device here and escape the frontline Starfield with a battleship.”

Originally, the energy device given to Jia Yan was meant for their own escape.

”Well, then I wish you a successful escape.”

”Lord, farewell, may your martial fortunes prosper!”

Jia Yan bid farewell to a group of about five or six hundred beings.

This group was not comprised of many soldiers; they were merely the original inhabitants of these star-studded skies, yet they sacrificed their escape opportunity for him.

”This favor, it’s truly a big debt. But since I’ve promised the previous communication soldiers not to die easily, I shall seize any opportunity to escape.”

”Then, I’ll bring the true body and come back to fight!”

”I am Jia Yan, I am the Guardian Deity! Not just the Guardian Deity of Earth, but from now on, I am the Guardian Deity of the Orion Arm, and forever will be!”

The events that happened before strengthened Jia Yan’s determination.

With the space cabin charged, it could enter subspace, moving much faster than before. Although not reaching its peak, being able to enter subspace meant Jia Yan’s avatar could easily escape the frontline.

Ten days later, in a Starfield still under the control of Orion Arm civilization.

A small spacecraft darted out from the empty and dark starry sky.

”Have we flown out of the frontline yet...”

Inside the spacecraft, Jia Yan’s avatar calmly looked around and then gazed forward, heading towards a populated planet.

The speed of the external forces’ invasion exceeded Jia Yan’s expectations.

In just a few months, despite Jia Yan’s disruptive actions at the rear, they invaded the Orion Arm like the speed of light.

It shouldn’t be said as the speed of light, but faster than light speed!

Jia Yan used the space cabin to fly rapidly through subspace, and only after ten days did he arrive at this Star Zone already on the frontline of the Orion Arm.

”The star chart shows this is already very close to the Solar System?!”

As Jia Yan flew toward the populated planet, he glanced at the star chart in the space cabin and discovered a shocking fact.

This Star Zone was actually the border of the Auster Great Empire; if the enemy pushed through the Auster Empire, what lay behind was the Star Zone where Earth resided.

The assault speed was simply astounding.

”The enemy’s attack speed is too fast, clearly because there are certain obstructions or hidden threats on their side, otherwise, they wouldn’t be so hasty. But this isn’t what I need to know now. I only want to know if their attack speed being this fast means they could reach the Solar System before the true body arrives, which I don’t want to see.”

Jia Yan pondered deeply, but as he glanced at the Border Star of the Auster Empire, his eyes slightly narrowed.

On that planet, not only were there many battleships and ordinary spacecraft fleeing from frontline civilizations, but also a batch of Auster Empire fleet on high alert.

Jia Yan wasn’t focused on these things; what caught his immediate attention was the sight of around five hundred seemingly undertrained battleships near the Auster fleet.

Jia Yan was too familiar with this fleet’s insignia, because it appeared with his consent.

And the ships of the fleet looked extremely advanced because they were a friendly gift from a Great Empire.

Yes, they were an Earth Fleet!

”These Earth people, what are they doing? Isn’t Qiqi enough, now they’ve sent another group to seek death.”

Jia Yan felt a bit of anger rising in his chest.

But after thinking for a moment, he let out a long sigh.

Jia Yan understood that previously Jia Qi went to the Kawai Defense Line due to manipulation, but this Earth Fleet was different.

Behind the Auster Empire was Earth, and now Earth’s battleship strength, although not on par with the old empires like the Great Empire, is absolutely superior to the Auster Empire under the possession of advanced battleships, despite insufficient training.

In this case, the Auster Empire would definitely have requested aid from Earth’s military, leading to a true relationship of mutual dependence. As long as the Earth people in high positions are sane, they would undoubtedly deploy part of their fleet to offer support.

All of this isn’t wrong, especially with Jia Yan deep inside enemy lines, his life or death unknown. They can only rely on their own strategies now.

”Alas. The Earth people must face this moment sooner or later, I really shouldn’t be overprotective anymore.”

Jia Yan let out a long sigh.

”Halt. May I ask where your ship hails from, and what is its purpose here at our defense line?”

As Jia Yan’s space cabin was slowly approaching this defense line, a speedboat drew near his space cabin.

Although the other party seemed to find Jia Yan’s space cabin familiar, they did not immediately recognize it as Jia Yan’s vehicle.

After all, no one would have thought they would one day see in person the so-called ’first strong one,’ famous throughout the inside of the Orion Arm, almost like a divine spirit.

In the intercepting speedboat, several pilots looked at the spacecraft in front, thinking it was another group of refugees from another civilization.

Yet they were amazed that such a small spacecraft could cross the vast starry skies, which was quite daunting.

”Uh, why does this spacecraft look like Lord Jia Yan’s vehicle to me?”

Suddenly, before there was any response from Jia Yan, one of the pilots in the speedboat finally recognized the true nature of the space cabin.

The space cabin, serving as Jia Yan’s vehicle, had previously made a name for itself at the Kawai Defense Line, as not just anyone’s spacecraft could travel back and forth quickly within a few light-years.

At that time, almost all civilization scientists were studying and pondering how such a small size could achieve that speed.

Even civilians were aware of the space cabin, though no one could replicate its performance.

”Hmm, now that you mention it, it does seem a bit similar.”

”No, it must be some fan of Lord Jia Yan inside.”

As they were all astonished, Jia Yan in the space cabin timely released his brainwave power.

The space cabin had been damaged several times, and even its communication functions were now problematic.

”I am Jia Yan. Take me to meet the senior officials of your planet’s defense line.”

”Uh!? It really, really is...”

When Jia Yan released his brainwave power, he did not conceal its intensity, since there was no time to waste now. He directly used the brainwave power of a strong one.

Though this power was significantly reduced due to injuries, it still barely reached the level of dignitaries.

Under the suppression of this power, his identity was immediately accepted.

”Lord, please follow us.”

The several creatures on the speedboat respectfully addressed Jia Yan and notified the defense line simultaneously.

Meanwhile, within that defense line territory, a discussion about war matters was underway.

”You Earth people actually want to compete with us for dominance—how many interstellar wars have you fought? Even though your battleships are better, it doesn’t mean you can use them well.”

”That’s right, I think you Earth people can’t even control those battleships properly. Now I propose not only should Earth people not have control over the defensive line, but your battleships should also be relinquished. The upcoming war concerns the survival of several major civilizations, and good tools should be in the hands of those who can wield them.”

Within this planetary defense line, not only are there Auster Empire people but also several fleets from nearby civilizations.

In the council hall at this moment, a high-ranking Earth fleet officer was actually arguing fiercely with several high-ranking officers from the fleets of major civilizations.

This defense line was just established, and due to the need for coordination, misunderstandings and accidents often occurred during training. To facilitate future warfare, the major fleets of the battle line agreed to establish a temporary general command department.

However, differences arose among the major civilizations over the leadership of the command department.

”You several civilizations are too much. Our Earth Fleet is the strongest here, so it’s only natural for us Earth civilization to take the lead. And you still want our Earth battleships? It’s simply unreasonable. Believe it or not, I’ll immediately take the fleet back and no longer care about your life or death.”

The Earth fleet officer, with a face full of Luo Si Beard, cursed furiously, completely disregarding the fact that several representatives from major civilizations had arms thicker than his entire body.

That’s right, this was the original Assassin ’Luo Si Beard,’ who had significant entanglements with Jia Yan back in the day.

He joined the Earth Fleet when it was first founded, and now he had climbed to a high position. Of course, a large part of the reason was his close relationship with the ’son-in-law’ of the Jia’s family.

However, his ability to rise to the position of fleet commander was also closely tied to his personal abilities.

”You major civilizations, especially the Auster Empire and Ru Lan Empire, don’t blame me for bringing up old scores. When you attacked our Earth before, I suffered greatly, so I won’t trust you now. Asking me to hand over the battleships? No way! We Earth also want the command authority of this defense line. In any case, Earth is still far from the defense line. At worst, if we lose, we’ll retreat back to Earth. If you lose, you’ll immediately face enemy attacks. Agree or not, it’s up to you!”

Luo Si Beard’s current appearance no longer had the somewhat aged look from before. Instead, he seemed even younger than when he first met Jia Yan. At the same time, his temper seemed to revert to a more impulsive age, spraying accusations at several major civilizations, especially the high-ranking officers of the Auster Civilization and Ru Lan Empire Fleet, leaving them almost no room for rebuttal.

”No, we Earth relinquish control!”

I feel like writing normal Chapters has been quite taxing recently, so I can’t add more. Sorry, everyone~~~
