Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1499: Chapter 7 Earth Mobilizes Again! [Seeking Official Subscription]

Outside the slaughter field of life amidst the war flames, a super small aircraft with a dim light soared into the sky, swiftly heading toward Earth.

It’s not that Jia Yan is heartless, but his avatar’s combat power has suffered too much loss, rendering it ineffective even in the battle at the Auster defense line.

This avatar must stay alive, at least until the true body arrives, it must live to protect the Earth people.

Despite previously deciding to protect the Earth people while simultaneously safeguarding the entire Orion Arm, Jia Yan prioritizes protecting the Earth people’s core interests, a principle that will never change.

”Haha, that so-called strongest lord of yours has fled, is this the so-called strongest of your Orion Arm? Laughable.”

On the battlefield, a secondary level laughed heartily, his expression almost unprecedentedly joyous, because to belittle a strong one of a starfield is an impossible feat in the outside world.

”Ah, Lord Jia Yan actually fled without a fight, this, this, this.”

”Don’t blame the lord, he’s severely injured, even fighting here for us is an act of deep affection, let’s give it our all.”

”Give it all my foot, Jia Yan has fled, what are we fighting for, flee, flee, flee!”

”I knew Jia Yan would never help our Auster Empire, even though we’ve assisted Earth greatly, he still holds grudges. Bastard.”

The battlefield was filled with the screams of soldiers and generals, some were the chilling cries before death, while others were the disdainful shouts at Jia Yan’s cowardly behavior.

Of course, none of this mattered, regardless of what they shouted, the enemy would finish them off.

Refugee battleships, battling battleships, and some bewildered battleships were all without leadership along the defense line of this border star of Auster.

The battle continued, but it had become a one-sided massacre.

The combat at the rear was no longer affecting Jia Yan’s mood, or perhaps he had no means to intervene.

Given his avatar’s current power, he was utterly incapable of helping.

”Alas, the Auster Empire is doomed, just hope the Auster people within don’t perish.”

Jia Yan shot through space at maximum speed.

The Auster Empire was already chaotic, an Empress ruling poorly, numerous splinter forces stirring trouble, and now external forces are attacking, he had no hope they could resist for long.

”And the Earth Eternal Nation...”

Jia Yan’s expression was momentarily stunned, then an inexplicable expression flickered.

Yet his space cabin still sped rapidly, flying in the direction of Earth.

The Solar System, the cradle stellar level of Earth’s civilization, has recently been tumultuous.

Having just welcomed back the undeniably Great Princess of the Earth people—Jia Qi—from the Kawai Defense Line, which is extremely distant for Earth people, they’ve now received the urgent alliance mission group from the Auster Empire.

What seemed like a legendary tale to Earth people about the Kawai Defense Line over a hundred light-years away suddenly materialized before them as invasion reality quickly approached.

The choice presented was to ally or stand aside?!

Earth people gave their answer naturally; since the other side were relentless invaders, they had no reason not to resist.

Thus, the earlier scene of several hundred advanced battleships joining the Auster defense line occurred.

But more shocking news emerged for Earth people.

While Earth people mourned daily for the tens of thousands of citizens who joined the battle, communications arrived saying the battleships had been handed over to the Auster defense line, while they themselves had taken ordinary ships back to Earth.

Without orders from Earth’s high command, how dare they act this way!?

Almost every Earth person who heard this was furious, knowing that batch of battleships were the most advanced within Earth’s current fleet, unmatched even by the strongest model in the civilization ’Great Empire’ of the Orion Arm. How did the participating commanders have the courage and boldness to hand them over to the Auster people!

On the brink of impending war, every combat resource is extremely precious; how could the commanders not fear endangering Earth’s civilization?

But when all Earth people realized the order was not from the fleet commanders but from ’Jia Yan’...

”Lord Jia Yan is actually unharmed; I’ve said it before, with the lord’s strength, there’s no way he would perish behind enemy lines. Great Empire’s information is indeed unreliable.”

”That’s right, since it’s Lord Jia Yan’s order, then there’s nothing to worry about. I believe the Lord has his own foresight.”

”But if the Lord returns, can we on Earth avoid casualties? I think... it’s unlikely.”

Regarding Jia Yan’s return, those hundreds of advanced Great Empire warships are insignificant. One must know that the return of Jia Yan is like a morale booster to the anxious Earth people.

However, his injuries and his embarrassing situation in the enemy’s rear have been concealed because the Earth people’s upper echelon feared that the halo of this top guardian deity might fall. If that happens, the already turbulent Earth society, whether it’s the economy or public security, would immediately face even more terrifying complete imbalance.

And just shortly after, the Earth side had just received tens of thousands of soldiers dispatched, with no casualties among them, even hosting a grand welcome ceremony for them.

Even if these soldiers felt they were not worthy of the welcome, they had gone to battle nonetheless. Even though they hadn’t even seen the enemy’s ’shadow’, they were still worthy of being treated as heroes by the public.

”By the way, as we were about to return, Lord Jia Yan told us to conduct a comprehensive war mobilization. Even if it harms the economy and damages the originally good development momentum, it is inevitable.”

At a secret meeting held in Shanghu with a group of Earth upper echelons, Luosi Huzi directly revealed Jia Yan’s order.

”So, is the Lord also thinking that the Auster Empire can’t be held? This is merely an enemy squad, and the allied forces of several major surrounding civilizations can’t even guard against them?”

”If they can’t guard against them, can we Earth people guard against them? Alas, you have to know we Earth people are just stepping into the universe as an elementary civilization. Without the help of the Great Empire warships, our own combat power could be wiped out by any civilization.”

In the massive meeting hall filled with leaders from various countries and fields, they all wore solemn expressions.

Even the previously dependable Lord Jia Yan seemed unreliable this time. His injuries, as revealed by Luosi Huzi, made all the upper echelons’ faces change slightly.

Moreover, the injuries of this guardian deity were inflicted by the enemy, who could achieve it once and can do it again. Jia Yan’s strength now subtly seems inadequate.

The Earth upper echelons who originally thought Jia Yan was an unfathomable protective umbrella, finally felt the helplessness of not having a protector overhead.

”Since the Lord said so, let’s mobilize, even if the price is the world’s development stagnation. We must do it; otherwise, the overall extinction of Earth people will be inevitable.”

Over a hundred upper echelons finally echoed Jia Yan’s intention and made the decision.

Just shortly after their resolution, the propaganda unit with extremely high efficiency directly issued the draft order!

All Earth people were shocked to find that the draft order was mandatory.

No matter who, as long as age fits, one has to go to the drafting office for a physical check; this order must not be resisted.

Even if unable to become the high-demand battleship soldiers, they can still join the lower ranks.

All this almost had the ’shadow’ of the rapid civilization leap when the Giant Mosquito crisis occurred years ago.

Of course, it was also a helpless situation back then, against the imminent Auster Empire and Ru Lan Empire semi-combat type aircraft carrier, but this time we’re facing invaders far more dreadful from the Orion Arm.

The only similarity is that both times are extinction crises.

”This scene is so similar to the crisis our previous generation faced. Young people, some of you were very young during the last crisis; some witnessed it firsthand and can still remember that scene. Back then, your fathers fought, and now it’s your turn to fiercely fight for your next generation.”

”Exactly, I was an eighteen-year-old young man; I can’t clearly recall that scene from back then, but I can still remember the selfless help from the Giant Mosquito species from outer space, which we still don’t know where they are located. This time we don’t have their help, but we Earth people are not who we used to be. We must strive to defeat the enemy ourselves!”

”Fight, fight, fight!”

It’s as if, in an instant, battle clouds enveloped the entire Earth.

Even the Earth upper echelons were astonished at how Earth people, having lived a peaceful life for more than a decade, could suddenly erupt with such terrifying fighting spirit.

On reflection, it is clear that the crisis of near extinction which Earth people faced several times is said to be long past, yet in reality, it was merely two decades ago. That generation of young people who survived have now reached thirty or forty but are still considered young due to the external civilization’s medicine.

This generation’s memory of near extinction remains deep, and under their influence, the younger generation, likewise, turns the fear of extinction into the impulse and power to protect the country.

No need for much mobilization; many families even took out their savings to support the war effort.

”On behalf of the Earth Fleet, the United Nations, and Lord Jia Yan, as Marshal, I conduct another total conscription for Earth civilization!”

Boom!

When the ’Alien Marshal’, who was once largely unacceptable by Earth people but now accepted by every Earth person, issued the conscription order, countless people responded.

At that moment, a super small aircraft barely flew into the Solar System.
