Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 650: Chapter 29: First Draft of Strengthened Equipment Design! Seeking Subscription_1

The arrival of this battleship seemed to expect no reward in return, merely aiding others and not wishing to leave behind a name.

”There really are some weird characters in the starry sky...”

”Oh well! If they don’t want to show up, let’s not hound them, but hurry up and get out of here. Who knows if those star thieves will attack again!”

At Daphne’s command, the Earth City fleet finally jetted into the sky!

At the same time, a gigantic figure became a rapid, dark shadow, swirling into the open doors of a transport ship!

Soon, the doors of the transport ship closed, and the speed surged to its extreme!

Trailing a bright stream of flames, it disappeared into the nearby starfield!

The battle zone that was once ablaze instantly became silent.

In the vast, empty starry sky, only fragments of the star thief battleship remained, a testament to the grand space battle that took place here!

But, it wasn’t long before a massive fleet of over thirty battleships appeared in this starfield!

Their fleet symbol, a flower shape, revealed their identity; they were the highly influential battleships of the Ru Lan Empire in the Scholz’s star system!

”Damn it, we let them escape again. If only the star thieves’ information had been given to us earlier!”

After circling impatiently in place for a long time, the fleet finally began to move silently through the starry sky, heading in the direction of Earth City...

...

The Universe, always a mysterious and fearsome place.

Even for aliens who can traverse the star sea, this is no exception.

Jia Yan couldn’t remember how long it had been since he left the Glorious Star, the Scholz’s star system didn’t have a good reference point for him. He only knew that Daphne’s daily progress report was still ongoing. Although he didn’t understand what was being explained, he, being a life form from a lower civilization, found many concepts difficult to grasp.

”Lord, our superminiature positron collider is installed, which is part of the gravitational wave theory. At first, I thought Auro’s gravitational wave instrument wasn’t too complex, but the scientists informed me that I was mistaken. Auro’s gravitational wave theory is complex, and without some validation from the positron collider, they couldn’t replicate it, even with blueprints and theoretical foundations.”

Daphne spoke in frustration.

She knew the ship’s functions to some extent, but after all, she was a biochemist born and raised on Earth, so it was natural that she couldn’t contribute to advanced interstellar technology.

Then Daphne went into detail about the gravitational wave instrument for Jia Yan, as she knew he was desperate to know. But whether Jia Yan understood was beyond her control. Her techno-babble left him scratching his head in confusion.

”Daphne is not patronizing me. She’s saying that the construction of the gravitational wave instrument has reached a critical point, right? It’s a pity that the research facility at the original site of Earth City on the Yellow Continent was destroyed, otherwise we wouldn’t have to retread our old paths,” Jia Yan lamented.

He pieced the meaning from Daphne’s disjointed narrative. It suggested the gravitational wave instrument might not be fabricated anytime soon and the Earth City fleet was critically short of supplies. Without some special tools and equipment, the construction project could be greatly prolonged, potentially stalling for many years or even decades!

”Lord, I heard from some original transport ship crew members that there are large star creature trading posts nearby. We can try trading there. If we’re lucky, we can solve the gravitational wave instrument problem and even easily obtain urgently needed items for the fleet. What do you think, Lord?” After reporting, Daphne sought Jia Yan’s opinion.

She had no hidden motives for Jia Yan’s delegated authority. In fact, she realized that Big Mosquito might not truly desire to control Earth City, and instead, was focused on achieving greater personal power!

Of course, considering Big Mosquito’s potential, which Daphne, likely the most knowledgeable entity in the universe about him, firmly believed in, it’s fair for her to believe the Big Mosquito’s future prospects. Remember, she had practically watched the Big Mosquito evolve from a slightly larger mosquito into a super monster that could look upon interstellar civilization battleships!

The time it took for this transformation was less than two years in Earth time. This unbelievable rate of improvement even surpassed the powerful beings from the Ru Lan Empire literature that Daphne had studied, by countless times!

So, Daphne had good reason to believe that this Big Mosquito could undoubtedly achieve the level of power he desires, and since she willingly allied herself with him, the least she could do, was to facilitate him as much as possible, and maybe, she could enjoy the protection of a super powerhouse in the future!
