Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 649: Chapter 28: Rescued?! [Subscribe Please] _3

The transport ship from Earth City, seeing this scene, quickly launched a light attack. The damaged Star Pirate Ship suddenly erupted into a bright light and turned into dust in the universe...

”Well done!”

Jia Yan inwardly applauded in his heart, then his eyes sparkled slightly as he looked towards the far horizon.

In that direction, a 200-meter battleship, which he had never seen before, was floating alone in the starry sky.

However, through the still shining main cannon of the other side, it could be inferred that the ship had launched the life-saving shot just now, giving the Earth City Fleet a moment to breathe.

However, there were no other ships around this battleship. It had appeared alone in this place, which was quite peculiar.

”Which civilization’s battleship is that? Or maybe it’s not from any civilization, but a spaceship that has fallen out of a star pirate’s hands? Such things are actually quite common. After all, many of these civilization’s battleships could be purchased through various channels.”

Jia Yan looked at the helping battleship there and felt very grateful. If it wasn’t for them, their situation would have been precarious!

All of a sudden, the battleship once again launched an attack!

Although the opponent’s attack was not overwhelmingly powerful, its precision was terrifying. This attack once again hit a star pirate ship, but it didn’t blow the ship up, but made it shake for a moment, then it barely survived under the protection of defensive energy!

”Quick, check which force the battleship over there belongs to, daring to spoil our good deeds! This is outrageous!”

On the Star pirate command ship, the giant monster was continuously licking its lollipop while roaring in rage.

”Boss, they refuse our communication request!”

”Damnit, this battleship is not to be underestimated. Not only does its equipment level exceed ours a little, its attack precision is also not something we can compare to. It might be aiding this expedition, we need to retreat!”

The monster that was licking the lollipop finally rolled its eyes and gave the order. As a star thief, if they can’t win, they run. Doing so doesn’t bring any shame to them.

”Yes!”

The star thieves scrambled around, some making contact with other warships, some planning retreat routes. Although they seemed casual, their performance at this moment was no less than the formal soldiers of the large civilizations of the Grey-Yellow Star!

”That’s right! I remember where I’ve seen this guy before!”

The Star pirate leader, as if electrified, remembered where he had heard about Jia Yan!

”This guy, is the so-called Lord Assassin who has been causing storms in the Grey-Yellow Star these days! So the transport ship behind him must have been stolen from the Grey-Yellow Star? Bad luck, they might even have more supplies than us, all full of those damn Desert Gold Creatures!”

Knowing Jia Yan’s identity, the leader immediately continued to order their quick departure. This battle not only resulted in no captures but also the loss of a battleship. The battleship was part of his hard-earned assets, and losing it made his heart ache incredibly!

Of course, he didn’t look down on the things from Earth City now, because even if all of them were Earth City members, they weren’t worth much, and fighting them further might even result in massive casualties. But if they really could attack and capture it, the shell of those ships alone could be sold for a lot of money.

But the problem is, once that rescue ship arrives, they will not be able to defeat Earth City at all!

”Bad luck! Really bad luck!” Thinking of this, the Star pirate leader looked back in frustration. Even though they could withstand their attack, they were unable to prevent them from withdrawing from the fight. At this moment, all the warships under him had completely disengaged from the battle, except for the one that had already blown into cosmic dust.

”Hmph! Have my men send a message to the major civilizations, disclose the location of Earth City, and refuse the reward! Just to piss off that so-called Lord Assassin!”

The Star pirate leader roared fiercely!

Of course, he wouldn’t dare accept a reward, given their sensitive identity. But he could breathe a little easier if they could cause Earth City to panic and even fall.

The battle came quickly and ended just as quickly. Many members of the Earth City Fleet only heard the alarm, followed by a series of whirls and scattered debris, after which all the noise disappeared!

Many entities couldn’t figure out what had happened. They only knew that something big had definitely occurred!

This level of shaking could not easily occur even on a transport ship and could only be caused by the ship moving at a very high speed!

”The alarm has been lifted, everyone has been frightened, please return to your respective posts.”

The sound of the alarm being lifted echoed throughout each spaceship, causing all the members to sigh in relief!

On the ’Daville number’, a transport ship acting as a temporary command ship, was another pivotal figure of Earth City other than Jia Yan, that’s Daphne.

She was looking at the much enlarged 200-meter battleship on the holographic screen. It did not have any indication of belonging to any civilization. Since there was no unified interstellar state, there was a uniformity in the technology related aspects of all civilizations, so Daphne could not deduce the belonging of that battleship from its appearance!

”However, they did save us after all. Both out of gratitude and reason, we should thank them. Please try to connect to their communication device. I will thank them personally.” Daphne said with a furrowed brow.

”No can do! Commander, they have refused!” The Earth City soldier responsible for communication responded in a strange manner.

”They refused? What does that mean...” Daphne was taken aback.

As if to respond to Daphne’s query, the 200-meter battleship, less than a hundred kilometers away, gradually retreated under the scrutiny of all the ship observation systems of Earth City. The distance got larger and larger, and then it completely disappeared from the detection system!

(Oops, I’m a bit late, sorry～～～)
