Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 616: Chapter 16: Killing the Sphere Monster!【Second Outburst Updated】_1

”However, from some previous minor sources, I have been able to analyse that the battleships of those highly advanced civilizations are extremely distant from Grey-Yellow Star. Unless they are civilizations currently at war with us, like Ru Lan Civilization, they are over ten million kilometers away. Even the battleships of the Auster Empire are not very close. So even though they may be aware of our movements, there is no way they can get here quickly!”

”By this calculation, we essentially have a lead of about ten hours!”

Daphne’s face was drawn. The news of the Earth Army heading to the spaceport could not be kept a secret. Civilizations could perhaps not deduce much at the moment from our progress, but as edge closer, they would come to realize that the Earth Army’s target is actually the spaceport!

”Lord Giant Mosquito! In fifteen minutes, it will be your time to depart. According to our original plan, you are to use your speed advantage and lead the powerful fighters of the Gold Desert to the spaceport before the main force arrives. Your mission is to pin down the battleships on the surface as much as possible. If they are allowed to take off, it will bring about the end of the Earth Army!”

Using her communication device, Daphne relayed her message to the other commander, the true leader of this force, Jia Yan.

Compared to Daphne, Jia Yan didn’t do as much. However, as the bedrock of their foundation, without his presence, Daphne would not have been able to develop Earth City to its current state. The two complemented each other perfectly.

”Alright, I understand!” Jia Yan’s gaze also turned solemn.

All along, neither Jia Yan nor Daphne were unduly concerned about the attack on Fifth City because Earth City didn’t really have to breach Fifth City. Once the defense teams on the periphery were wiped out, it would not be worrisome due to the sheer number of the Earth Army.

However, since the very beginning, Jia Yan had felt the real problem lies at the spaceport!

But even the largest of challenges must be overcome!

Such was their resolve!

And their biggest uncertainty!

The first hurdle is the group of strong fighters Jia Yan had managed to subdue himself, but they were by no means obedient to orders.

Jia Yan shifted his gaze. At that time, these powerful warriors did not understand any of Daphne’s orders. They look confused as they watched the Earth Army’s changing attacking directions.

”In fifteen minutes, we will raid a critical location in the Fifth City. I will personally lead the team. If anyone of you dares to flee, you know what awaits you...”

Jiana Yan calmly used his brainwave power, leaking an incredibly powerful energy.

”May I ask, Lord, where are we attacking?!”

Many Golden Desert powerholders were startled when they saw Jia Yan’s serious words. Eventually, one of these spherical beings asked in confusion.

”Spaceport!” Jia Yan continued to answer with his indifferent voice. Since they would find out soon anyway, he might as well divulge their destination in advance to avoid any unforeseen variables.

”What? Spaceport? This... this...” The spherical being that asked the question was stunned and revealed its anger!

”Lord Assassin, I pledged allegiance to you to save my own life, not to die for you. If you are indeed going to attack the spaceport, I cannot go and die for you!”

As he uttered these words, the spherical-shaped being retreated, its many eyes on its surface rolling around cautiously, watching Jia Yan warily. After all, he was a formidable cosmic-level monster!

This monster knew since it surrendered that it was no match for Jia Yan, but it boasted a similar trait to the ’Slime Mother’. Its spherical body was entirely flexible and soft, and it could not be killed unless its core was directly hit!

As this creature retreated, several other creatures turned pale, also retreating!

These creatures had absolutely no loyalty toward Earth City. Now that Earth City planned to attack the spaceport, it felt suicidal. Every creature thought they may as well die trying to break free with the spherical creature; after all, the opponent was only a cosmic-level Flying monster, and they might have a chance to escape if they break free together!

However, these creatures had undoubtedly underestimated the strength of a true cosmic-level monster!

The moment Jia Yan saw the spherical creature retreating, a flickering spark lit in his compound eyes full of radiance!

Without taking off, he simply raised a slender forelimb, like lightning splitting the sky, and fiercely stabbed at the spherical creature that was retreating swiftly!

Meanwhile, brainwave power was spreading in every direction, immediately filling the sky where all the strong ones gathered with its powerful force field!

Even if all the entities around were extremely strong heavenly peak creatures, there was a world of difference between cosmic level and heavenly level!

Although Jia Yan’s combative power might only be at the primary cosmic level, he was still an invincible existence in the eyes of these heavenly peak monsters!

Almost all the monsters felt their bodies become sluggish!

Especially the round monster that was retreating, at this moment, its body seemed to be enveloped by brainwave power. Although for a heavenly peak beast, this degree of brainwave power can’t completely immobilize it, but under the force of Jia Yan’s erupting brainwave power, the movement speed of its body is definitely not even a third of what it originally was.

It could only stare helplessly as the sharp front leg, tipped with a touch of azure blue, pierced through its body, entirely devoid of any possibility of defense!

Shlick!

The sharp forelimb pierced into the Big Mosquito’s body. As Jia Yan looked at the monster’s body, it seemed like there was some strange liquid inside. He did not feel any decrease in the monster’s life force at this moment.

”So its survival ability is so strong because it has this core!”

Jia Yan was not a creature that relied purely on instinct for combat. Seeing that the round monster did not slow down at all, but instead managed to wriggle its body free from Jia’s foreleg, and the gaping hole that had been pierced was instantly healed, it seemed practically invulnerable. His foreleg once again stabbed out coldly!

Shlick!

”How is that possible!?”, the round monster let out a horrified shriek. Nobody knew that with this type of monster, if their vital organs weren’t destroyed, they couldn’t be killed, yet Jia Yan had discovered its core in the very first instant. His second strike was aimed directly at the monster’s core!

The monster was terrified, yet at this moment it was unable to dodge. Deftly shifting, its body was once again viciously pierced by the Big Mosquito’s foreleg!

The core, similar in colour to the semi-transparent body, shattered instantly. The spherical monster let out a mournful wail as its body instantly turned into a pool of blood and scattered in all directions!

”What!?” The other monsters that were ready to strike were all shocked. They all knew about this spherical monster. This monster has always been known for its absolute defense in the Gold Desert. Even if you could beat it, it was extremely difficult to kill. But they didn’t expect Lord Assassin to be so extreme, to be able to find its true weakness and kill with a single blow after just one encounter!

”Sure enough!” As Jia Yan observed the destroyed monster before him, a hint of a smile emerged from his heart. As a cosmic level monster, what he possessed was not just a cosmic level body, but also an incredibly powerful brainwave power. Previously, he had even used brainwave power to communicate with the other three cosmic level monsters, increasing his understanding and control of brainwave power.

The spherical monster that was now dead had its brain located in the core of its body. Under such circumstances, with its constant release of brainwave power, how could Jia Yan possibly not find its core?

Of course, this monster had never encountered cosmic level entities before. If it had, any cosmic level entity that knew anything about brainwave power could easily destroy it!

The monsters who wanted to run did not understand this. They thought that Jia Yan, this powerful one, had demonstrated an ability they could not understand once again, instantly silencing them. Under the repression of the brainwave power, they dared not move anymore.

”That is the consequence of fearing battle. And attacking the spaceport is not impossible for us. I only hope you won’t do anything stupid next.” There was a faint trace of a killing intent in the Big Mosquito’s compound eyes. After locking onto all the monsters in front, it softly spoke through brainwave power.

”Yes, Lord!”

These powerful monsters were now in complete despair. They could not muster any thoughts of rebellion against the Big Mosquito’s power. Especially since the latter was attacking the spaceport. If the latter did not have any chances of winning, it wouldn’t be doing that. So right now, their only choice was to fight for a chance to win, instead of looking for an opportunity to escape from Jia Yan.

After all, the level difference between the two sides was too great!

”Hmm? The Earth Army is on the move. They are heading in that direction. What are they going for? Is there something there that they are targeting?”

Above their heads, a media broadcasting drone was constantly circling in the sky. The drone had spotted the strange movements of the Earth Army and was currently transmitting live footage of the battle to the entire Fifth City, and even the entire Grey-Yellow Star.

But an individual airborne unit of the Earth Army was also taking flight at this time, although it wasn’t attacking them, it was circling around the aerial vehicle, keeping it at a far distance.

”Shoot down that aerial vehicle.” Suddenly, a cold voice from Daphne came through the communicator of these powerful beings.
