Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 644: Chapter 27 Star Thief! [Second update 5000 Words]_1

As for the other spacecrafts, since most of them are used for commercial purposes, they did not carry many supplies. However, they are suitable as small bases and liaison vessels orbiting around the main ships.

Undeniably, Daphne had a foresight. At the very beginning, she recruited some people from Earth City who could operate the spacecraft. Moreover, when these vessels were seized, part of the crew was already on board. So now, they did not have to worry about the operation of the spacecraft.

”There are still many problems to solve. But more importantly, what Mr. Giant Mosquito values most is the problem with the ’gravitational wave’ device!”

At the forefront of all tasks, Daphne finally listed the ’gravitational wave’

While Daphne was outlining the future blueprint, Jia Yan was in a section of the two-kilometer-long battleship. This place was more than a hundred meters in both width and height surrounded by a very quiet environment. Although the surroundings were still slightly rough, for a transport ship, this place was a rare sanctuary.

Other powerful creatures were crammed like dumplings into another section of the ship, a place far less comfortable.

”It seems that this place is not a comfortable living area. Even though this transport ship is quite huge, it’s too small for the whole Earth City. Remember, there are over a hundred thousand people in Earth City, most of them are larger than humans on Earth. Being stacked in transport ships like this, living here is absolutely impossible!”.

Jia Yan listened to the sound of water dripping from somewhere, perhaps from the nearby cooling system, or possibly a real leakage. He couldn’t tell because he didn’t understand anything here, he didn’t even know as much about alien technology as an average alien.

It wasn’t that Jia Yan didn’t care about the construction of the Earth Army, but at this stage, expanding his knowledge and perspective was more important.

”In yesterday’s conversation, I found out about Daphne’s real idea for Earth City. Unexpectedly, after getting clear about her ideas toward the Ru Lan Empire, she had such a huge change in thought about Earth!”

Jia Yan knew that Daphne had expectations of the Earth Army, but he didn’t expect her continued efforts were propelled by a grand vision!

Her plan is to grow Earth City, along with the Earth Army, into a real tribe and fighting force within the Solar System!

Jia Yan was a bit stunned by this. After all, when he named this force ’Earth City’, it was simply a matter of sentimental attachment to the homeland. But Daphne, she was actually considering turning this force into defenders of Earth, and even the whole Solar System!

”She has completely placed her hometown on Earth, which is understandable. Although Daphne isn’t an Earth person by blood or culture, she grew up within Earth’s cultural sphere and Earth is truly her home. Understanding this, her actions are not unfathomable.”

Jia Yan looked at the huge metal equipment in front of him. Careful beings were working on it - some were repairing the pipes, some were tidying the ground. Retro-fitting this transport ship into a suitable living space was definitely not a simple job.

But for Earth City, it was the only option. This transport ship was obtained at the risk of many lives. Possibly tens of thousands!

No one knew how many in the Earth Army had died in previous battles, or how many had escaped. No one wanted to recall that.

”Are you happy with your current situation?”

Jia Yan suddenly asked one of the creatures in front of him who appeared to be about one and a half meters tall.

This creature was clearly a young frogman. At the sound of Jia Yan’s voice, regardless of how moderate it was, he couldn’t help himself from appearing startled. He was almost ready to scream!

In front of a Starry Sky Level Expert, especially a member of Earth City in front of its absolute ruler - Lord Assassin, they couldn’t help but be nervous. Particularly when this strong one seemed unpredictable, nowhere near as gentle as Lady Daphne.

”Lord, I’m very satisfied. I was a scout from a small power in the Golden Desert before. I never had any expectations for a good life, but now in Earth City, I have a job like this. They told me I don’t need to fight in the future. So I’m very satisfied.”

The young frogman said hesitantly, but it was clear that he meant every word.

Life in the Golden Desert had been harsh. Though the newly captured forces of Earth City had immediately begun bloody suppression and combat deployment, anyone with a bit of intelligence could foresee a promising future with Earth City.

”Besides the Grey-Yellow Star, are there any other well-known places in Scholz’s star system that you know of?” Jia Yan continued to ask.
