Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4909  Upper Realm Spaceʼs First Settlement

”Indeed.” Jade Aurora nodded, ”My ability in using Time Laws is much greater than the average time energy cultivator, nearly comparable to a Hyluan. Would you be interested?”

”So modest…” Davis said with a vague smile, ”Sheʼs definitely far more capable than she has revealed.”

”Itʼs not like that~” Jade Aurora gazed at Davis with a proud smile.

She returned her gaze to Zenova and grasped her hand, ”It would be unwise to nurture the child for nine years straight when weʼre at odds with many who are trying to kill us in the name of protecting the world. For the childʼs sake, would you agree?”

”…” Zenova seemed conflicted.

She didnʼt know this woman on a personal level. If it had been Myria, she would agree.

After all, why would ʼgrandʼ sister be so cruel?

But on the other hand, would Jade Aurora harm her child? She didnʼt know. Even if Jade Aurora didnʼt have any hostile intent, what if something went wrong? She didnʼt know her ability, especially someone humble bragging to be not as good as a Hyluan, the only human bloodline family who was able to control time to a greater level than the others, was definitely a scammer in her opinion, but with Davis vouching for her, she was more or less inclined to believe her ability.

”I need to know the specifics first. Is it a simple time chamber or something that affects the womb itself?” Zenova asked, her demeanor solemn.

She agreed that nurturing the child for nine years straight was unwise and was determined to seclude herself in a time chamber as long as they could obtain one. She had lived for a few hundred years. She didnʼt think nine years was long, but still felt strapped for time, as their time was going to be short when the Celestial Transcendent descends with his true body.

She must get stronger until then, but getting pregnant had thrown a twist into her plans. Regardless, she intended to see this through.

Fairy Wix and the others were intrigued since they had not heard of such a method. To them, birthing a child was a long shot. Most of them hadnʼt even engaged in dual cultivation, and only Wix knew how many years she had to endure to give birth to Stella on top of nurturing so many fruits.

”We can talk about this later. Zenova, weʼve already made Fairy Wix wait for a long time.” However, Davis interrupted them.

”Mhm, I understand.” Zenova nodded.

Jade Aurora wasnʼt going anywhere. She was her new little sister, the one who came after her, so she was willing to be much more receptive towards her than the ones before whom she hadnʼt met or interacted with.

Jade Aurora also nodded. She lightly cast a look of apology towards Fairy Wix, but the latter shook her head.

”Itʼs fine. This is the last teleportation, and weʼll arrive within the Golden Radiance Empire. Does anyone have something to say before we arrive? Make sure that you do not have any tracking items or marks on you.”

She asked and, receiving no answer, she performed her technique after they checked themselves. Finally, space quivered, and the entirety of the space they were in jumped, sending them flying spatially towards another pocket realm that Fairy Wix had already pre-determined and cushioned for safe landing.

One spatial bubble turned into a catapult, and the other turned into soft bedding or soft branches that would break the fall when landing.

Davis felt his insights into Space Laws grow as he witnessed it for the third time.

ʼFairy Wix is truly ingenious…ʼ

On the other hand, Davis only had Zhao Yan with him, who could be tracked. His lover and wife-to-be could have potential tracking items on him. However, he was confident that they wouldnʼt work since it would now belong to Felicia Archus herself after they had been on her for a long time. From Anastasia Archusʼs memories, where she mused if they would be able to find Zhao Yan, it seemed bleak in her opinion, since the blood-soul essence Felicia Archus had obtained from the wedding gift and used to tie herself up to his fate of life and death had already been used up, making tracking or divining nearly impossible.

Hence, they had no choice but to search for him on foot.

As for Zhao Yanʼs Family, the Zhao Family, they had practiced the Divine Exalt cultivation method, so they had moved to another galaxy after it was banned in this galaxy.

ʼOr was it before?ʼ

Davis didnʼt know, but he felt the chances of Zhao Yanʼs location being divined were very low. As long as he wasnʼt interrupted, the first thing he was going to do after returning was hand him over to Tia and Yufella and then shield him from having his location divined.

There was no way even a True Deity Mystic Diviner was divining it past an entire family of Divergents. Theyʼd cough up blood and die from hemorrhaging, and this was still the best-case scenario.

Davis understood that he was now a Desolate Divergent. He couldnʼt imagine the consequences of divining anything nearly remote to him. After all, he was the one who had kidnapped Zhao Yan. Even if they possessed karmic items belonging to Zhao Yan, their divining ability would have no choice but to eventually land on him, the culprit.

While he was thinking, they suddenly landed in a pocket realm without any hitches.

Abruptly, he felt his soul resonate, and he knew Evelynn had instantly looked through his vision after realizing he was here.

”Haha.” Davis chuckled. She was secretly as obsessive as ever, but right now, he knew she would be entirely relieved and spread the news of his return.

”Weʼve arrived. Then-”

Fairy Wix just opened her mouth when her pocketed realm abruptly trembled.

”Ah! Mother! You returned! That means-”

A spatial ripple appeared on the edge as a playful voice echoed.

It was none other than Stella. She practically forced her way into the pocket realm and descended, pouncing on Davis with her full force.

”Big brother!!!”

Davis caught her effortlessly and spun her around, ”Hahaha! Stella, Iʼm back.”

*Bzzz!~*

More intruders broke through the pocket realm, making Fairy Wix speechless. They were so rude. However, she didnʼt mind, but at the same time, thinking about how powerful they were. A complicated gaze roamed over her child.

Stella had become stronger than her.

Mingzhi was the second to arrive, as she had kept an eye on Stella. Followed by her, it was Evelynn. They landed from the starry skies like heavenly fairies.

Mingzhi was the first one to reach him, her eyes teary, ”Blockhead, you survived again. Itʼs really hard to kill you as expected. I was worried for nothing.”

”Mingzhi,” Davis wiped her flowing tears gently, ”I wouldʼve died many times over if it werenʼt for Illumina, Saintess Lunariaʼs disciples, and many others who came to save me.”

His hand went to the side, and Evelynn stepped into his embrace as he hugged both of them.

”Welcome back~” Evelynn uttered, her voice filled with swelling emotions as she barely kept herself from choking on her words.

”Husband!”

”Darling!”

Davis comforted them, but he was speechless to see more and more of his women invading this pocket space.

Couldnʼt they just wait? How was he supposed to comfort all of them at once?

They also had guests and couldnʼt make a spectacle out of it. Otherwise, they would beat him up because of being too dramatic.

Isabella, Tia, Shirley, Sophie, Niera, Tina, and many others arrived.

Fortunately, they stopped after nearing him, wiping their tears or smiling widely at him. They had also heard some news floating in the surrounding celestial bodies, so they were all worried sick because it was said that the Realm Master of the Six-Headed Hydra Realm was personally hunting him!

They could more or less guess someone like that was more or less an ʼafterstageʼ expert, in other words, an expert at the level of a True Deity.

For someone like that to hunt an Empyrean was insane and so unfair.

The more days passed, the more they felt the chances Davis had survived were going down. They were afraid that if he had been sealed, how would they continue to live their lives?

Fortunately, he returned to them in one piece. He didnʼt seem harmed at all.

In fact, if they werenʼt so overwhelmed by his return, they might even start gasping from the incredible aura stemming from him, which was vast and mightier than ever before. It might make them feel small, but their love for him had eclipsed the heaviness, and his affection for them shrouded the pressure.
