Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4906  Tamed Zenova?

Two days later, the opulent chamber in the mountain palace still carried the faint scent of their passionate entanglements.

The sweat and the lingering aura of remnant energies swaying in the room were more than enough to describe the wildness and also Zenovaʼs breakthroughs.

Davis lay down, sprawled on the massive bed, his body entwined with Zenovaʼs in a lazy, possessive cuddle. Her head rested on his chest, her raven hair cascading like silk over his skin, while one of her long, toned legs draped over his thigh. The sheets were a tangled mess around them, evidence of the nonstop dual cultivation sessions that had pushed her cultivation from the Early Empyrean Stage straight into the mid levels, her body now radiating a subtle, fiery glow that matched the flames of her heritage.

She traced lazy circles on his abdomen with her fingertip, her touch light yet charged with electrifyingly hot yin essence, sending subtle sparks of pleasure through him.

Davis smirked, his hand idly stroking her back, fingers tracing the line of her spine. Two days of unrelenting intimacy had mended the fractures in their bond, or at least, buried them under layers of ecstasy and mutual conquest.

Zenova had proven to be nearly insatiable, her Will as unbreakable as her body, matching him thrust for thrust. She was really a vixen in bed, bold and wild, thoroughly entertaining him.

After not dual cultivating for what felt like a decade, Davis was completely satisfied.

”Master, itʼs time to head home!” Nadiaʼs calm voice echoed in his soul sea.

Davisʼs eyes fluttered open, a low chuckle rumbling from his soul. He didnʼt bother sitting up; instead, tightening his arm around Zenovaʼs waist, pulling her closer until her full breasts pressed against his side.

”Tell them Iʼm busy and will be ready in half an hour.” Davis transmitted back, his tone firm but amused.

He felt home could wait a bit longer. The harem was waiting, but they were patient, and right now, he was savoring the spoils of his latest ʼconquestʼ.

Zenova opened her eyes from the movement.

When her gaze landed on him, she appeared to be enamored. Theyʼve been falling in and out of sleep, doing the deed in between. She needed time to digest his thick yang essence, as he was more powerful than her, and he was also quite helpful in accommodating her. Otherwise, she might keep fainting or even burst from the extreme influx of his energy.

”Is it time to leave?” Zenova asked, her voice a mix of a purr and satisfaction.

Her low breathing tickled Davisʼs neck, making him kiss her forehead.

”Yes, weʼll clean up soon.”

”Mhm~” Zenova hummed softly.

She gazed at him, her mesmerizing phoenix eyes quivering, ”Why havenʼt you gotten rid of the charm seal yet?”

She could still sense it. She wondered if it could be substituted with a fake or an illusion, but they had also dual cultivated their soul and were a bit tired as a result, so she could tell that he still had it, which honestly confused her.

”…” Davis smirked, ”Iʼd like to have it as a reminder of our strange beginnings.”

”Iʼm not interested in trials if thatʼs what youʼre planning for. I wonʼt take advantage of it.”

Zenova raised her hand and brought her lithe finger to his forehead. Davis could feel the charm inside him quivering as though it would break, causing him to grasp her wrist.

”…?” Zenova looked confused.

He brought his hand to his mouth, kissing her palm, ”Silly, this charm seal saved me once from a bad charm spirit and helped me fight against it. Itʼs not all bad.”

Her beautiful brows raised, ”You mean- youʼre going to use my charm to resist the charm of other women in the future?”

”Well, I donʼt need it anymore since my Will eclipsed all charms that your charm seal could defend against. Regardless, Iʼve punished and forgiven you to the best of my ability while prioritizing our future in consideration, but that doesnʼt mean youʼre fully absolved of your crime, so this charm seal belongs to me. If you go out of your way to harm someone in the family or overstep your bounds, Iʼll reverse it and charm you completely.”

”Thatʼs one way to live.” Zenovaʼs lips curled with a lazy smile.

”…”

Davis went speechless.

He didnʼt intend to hide anything. He knew Zenova liked a challenge, but this was totally unexpected. She didnʼt mind being charmed by him.

It made him ask himself, ʼHow deep did she fall for me…?ʼ

If only she were honest and listened to him, all of this couldʼve been avoided, which made him ask her.

”You wonʼt drop from trying to become a tyrannical Empress?” He moved his hand and ran his fingers through her black hair.

Zenova closed her eyes lightly, feeling good from the caress, ”What do you mean by tyrannical? An Empress, by name and right, should lord over the other women in the harem.”

”Certainly, but it is also upto the Empress to be peaceful and uniting, especially for someone who wants to be known as the Divine Emperor of Deathʼs Empress. You need to learn the laws of the family and abide by them.”

Zenova looked away. Her bosoms heaved as she took a deep breath before cuddling him fondly, ”Iʼll do as you say. Right now… I just want to nurture our child…”

”…” Davisʼs gaze shook.

He caressed her more fondly.

Indeed, Zenova had become pregnant with his child. He had been celibate for over a year, and Zenova had been a virgin, so she didnʼt need to wait fifteen years. She was conceived with an immortal child.

It happened so quickly- on their first try.

Davis wasnʼt surprised since he already knew fate was trying to screw him over, and Zenova was someone who was like a wild card who could destroy his legacy from within.

ʼSo fate is actively weaving new fates for fates it canʼt control or predict… so it gave us this new life with a new fate that probably never has been introduced in what it already had in store in the sea of fate because two Divergents or the two of us coming together isnʼt something thatʼs supposed to happen. This new life… I hope itʼs not another reincarnator…ʼ

Davis looked away, thinking about Lydia.

Her issue still remained at the front of his mind, haunting him lightly. Now that he had taken care of Zenova and he was about to go home, it was practically in front of his face.
