The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1397: Chapter 1397: Something Feels Off (3)

”Don’t harm my cousin, she is mentally challenged and a bit simple-minded,” Yang Ruxin raised her eyes toward Mieko. ”Don’t you feel ashamed to bully a fool?”

Just as Mieko was about to speak, Little Quan Jie interrupted, ”Alright, then we won’t trouble a fool. We’ll use him for the exchange instead,” he signaled.

A man in black immediately went and untied Dong Ruoqiu.

Dong Ruoqiu quickly pulled the rag from her mouth and threw her arms open, rushing toward Yang Baiyue.

Yang Ruxin frowned.

The man in black quickly blocked her, but Dong Ruoqiu, not being normal and oblivious of fear, still charged forward, so the man in black raised his hand and knocked her out.

A slight and barely visible smirk appeared on Yang Ruxin’s lips. It was good that she was knocked out; it would make it easier to take her out later. Just as she thought this, after glancing over Dong Ruoqiu’s body, the person who had been lying on the ground suddenly vanished.

Yang Ruxin herself was startled as Dong Ruoqiu had gone into her space. It seemed the space expanded, and her Conscious Force had strengthened too; she could now transfer objects or unconscious people without touch.

This was certainly great news.

Mieko, initially confused by Little Quan Jie’s actions, also noticed something different about Yang Ruxin and couldn’t help but frown before signaling one of the men in black.

One man in black immediately placed the treasure sword on Yang Baiyue’s shoulder.

Yang Ruxin’s expression clearly changed. She wanted to step forward but ultimately restrained herself. Instead, she looked at Mieko, ”What exactly do you want? He’s just an outsider; please, don’t harm him...”

Yang Baiyue was momentarily stunned. When had she become so concerned about him?

”Please, just let him go,” Yang Ruxin grew more and more anxious, ”You cannot hurt him...” Her mind internally complained about how acting was truly not easy—having to pretend to care in front of such despicable people, and this care must not be too much, just right.

A hint of smugness crossed Yang Baiyue’s mind, after all, he was her father. Normally she seemed very annoying, but when it actually mattered, she still cared...

”Not harming him is possible,” Mieko smiled. ”Then you give yourself a cut.”

Yang Ruxin frowned, then looked ardently at Yang Baiyue, ”Do whatever you want, but please, do not harm him, he is the most important person to me...”

Yet, Yang Baiyue suddenly sensed something amiss. These people had a feud with that wretched girl, right? If she showed such concern for him, could it be... He instantly understood, this wretched girl wasn’t really concerned about him at all? She was merely using these people to get rid of him...

But his mouth was gagged, leaving him unable to expose her conspiracy; he could only struggle violently.

”Stay still,” the man in black slapped Yang Baiyue.

Though his mouth was gagged, Yang Baiyue still tasted the metallic sweetness in his mouth; this man was utterly ruthless.

”Stop hitting him,” Yang Ruxin pointed at the man in black, ”If anything happens to him, I will not let you off...”

”Yang Ruxin, how else do you plan not to let us off?” Mieko sneered, ”He’s in my hands now; you can only surrender.”
