The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1391: Chapter 1391: My Buddha’s Mercy (3)

”Ha ha...” Master Qing Lian laughed, ”If it’s meant to be, we will surely meet.”

Yu Qingge naturally recognized Master Qing Lian as well; she had attended the dharma assembly at Qinglian Temple before, but she was still somewhat surprised to see him here.

The burly Monk is Master Jianhui, the abbot of Lingyin Temple, who at this moment also stood up and took out two Amulets from in front of a Buddha statue on the side table: ”Both benefactors are predestined people of Buddha.”

”Thank you, Master Jianhui.” Yang Ruxin and Yu Qingge took the Amulets and reverently bowed.

”Amitabha,” Master Jianhui chanted a Buddhist mantra, ”Both benefactors have had their destinies altered. Therefore, I hope both of you will always keep kindness in your hearts and surely you will be able to turn misfortune into fortune.”

Yu Qingge glanced at Yang Ruxin, her face full of astonishment; they actually knew their origins.

Yang Ruxin, however, was quite calm: ”The so-called alteration of fate, some aspects can indeed be changed, can’t they?” Before her transmigration, nobody notified her about it, so altering anything had nothing to do with her.

”Ha ha...” Master Qing Lian laughed again, ”You girl... But this old monk must remind you, even though the existence of Fairies and spirits is somewhat absurd, Buddhism values the connection between past and present lives. Perhaps, it is because you have unfinished matters from previous lives that you have the fruit of this life’s revival...”

Yang Ruxin curled her lips; it is as you say, after all, she can’t go back anymore.

”Since we’re here, let us accept it.” Master Qing Lian’s smile remained unchanged.

Yang Ruxin looked at the old monk and blinked; wasn’t that something she should have said to reassure herself? Yet, the old monk had said it for her.

Originally, Yang Ruxin wanted to inquire about Gu Yao and Gu Qingheng’s situation at the military front, but the old monk only gave her a line, ”Each person’s life, death, and fortune are predetermined. Benefactor Gu is a person with profound blessings,” and then he sat down, closed his eyes, and stopped speaking.

Yang Ruxin had no choice but to bow and take her leave.

”Benefactor Yang, what’s predestined is already settled, let go of what should be forgotten.” Master Jianhui suddenly said such a line in the end, and then he too sat down and fell silent.

After thanking him, Yang Ruxin pulled Yu Qingge and left the Bamboo House.

As soon as the door closed, Master Jianhui opened his eyes: ”Brother, is it because of her that you rejected him?” He gestured with his hand, forming the number three.

”After all, he is the rightful one, and moreover, he has always been diligent,” Master Qing Lian exhaled, ”Since ancient times, that position has been built upon flesh and blood. However, Buddha is compassionate.” Without contention, naturally, there would be no slaughter.

Master Jianhui frowned slightly: ”But, brother, how do you know which path is right or wrong? After all... even the rightful one might not make it to the end... shouldn’t the capable one take the position?”

”Do you think that person is incapable?”

”Does brother not feel that, compared to that person, he indeed seems slightly less capable?” Master Jianhui raised three fingers.

”Heh heh...” Master Qing Lian chuckled twice, ”Is that so?”

Master Jianhui’s expression turned solemn and he did not speak any further.

”All is fate,” Master Qing Lian sighed, then stood up, ”Not everyone can change their destiny. Brother, there’s only so much I can say.”

”Brother... let me think...”

Meanwhile, Yu Qingge, who was walking outside, mysteriously whispered to Yang Ruxin: ”Sis, those two old men are quite interesting, they saw through our origins at a glance.”
