The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1371: Chapter 1371: I’m Here to Find Someone (1)

The Dong Family Clan School was actually quite sizable and had a long history, having been established during the time of Dong Xun’s grandfather. Although its initial purpose was to educate the descendants of the Dong Family and provide enlightenment for their youth, the academy eventually became popular because its teachers possessed genuine skills, and the students they enlightened all achieved good results. Those who went on to study in other academies were received very well; over the years, the school had produced quite a number of Scholars. Strangely enough, there seemed to be a halt in accomplishment when it came to the Dong Family’s own offspring moving further up.

However, among those who came from the Dong Family Clan School, there were quite a few non-family students who passed the provincial examination and became Officials.

While they were not Dong Family descendants, in ancient times, inheritance was of great importance; a day’s mentor could be a lifelong father. Given that they were enlightened by the Dong Family Clan School, those who became Scholars remembered the favor of the Dong Family.

Therefore, even though the Dong Family had not produced Officials themselves, over the years they had nurtured many Officials, which made their reputation quite significant. They were respected by everyone.

The original Dong Family Clan School started as just a room in a courtyard behind the Dong Family residence, but now it had its own specially built courtyard, spanning five sections, with an environment that was very beautiful and complete facilities. It was located not far from the Dong Family home, roughly a fifteen-minute walk away.

Cheng Nuo had a foundation in his studies, so he wasn’t in the enlightenment class but in the advanced class. The children in the advanced class had all passed the scholar examination, which in the academy was referred to as the ”Class B”. Class B currently had two sections, known simply as Class One and Class Two.

Cheng Nuo was in Class Two.

Class Two had twelve students, including Cheng Nuo.

When Yang Ruxin arrived at the academy, the bell for class had just sounded, and the students had all entered the classroom and taken their seats, but the teacher had not yet entered.

Of course, she hadn’t come alone; Yu Qingge, knowing what had happened, had eagerly wanted to come and seek revenge for her brother Xiaonuo.

All the teenagers, craning their necks waiting for the teacher, were momentarily taken aback when two beautiful girls appeared, then a few of them began to snicker and laugh, ”Little sister, are you here looking for your brother?”

”Is it me you’re looking for?”

”It must be me you’re after; in this room, I’m definitely the most handsome.” One of them even made a gesture he thought was particularly suave.

Ugh! Yu Qingge couldn’t help but make a vomiting gesture, ”Such insolence from enemies!” She didn’t have a good impression of this class; when Cheng Nuo was beaten up in the classroom yesterday, only two tried to break it up, while the rest watched the turmoil with glee.

”You...” The boy, about to retort angrily, was held back by his desk mate, who whispered something in his ear. At that, the boy deflated like a punctured ball and sat down again.

Yang Ruxin maintained her faint smile until their ruckus had mostly subsided, and then she spoke up, ”I am here for Dong Minglong, Dong Kui, Dong Yaoxing, Dong Li, Zhao Sihai, and Xue Shouli.”

By this time, some of those who had attended the banquet had recognized Yang Ruxin and began to feel nervous.

”These people aren’t here?” Yang Ruxin scoffed, ”Perhaps I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Yang Ruxin, the granddaughter of Dong Xun, the niece of Dong Wenming. You’ve heard this name before, haven’t you?”

How could they not have heard the name? Whether they had seen her or not, their families had all warned them. She was not only someone they should be careful never to offend in the future, but if possible, they should try to curry favor with her. Why? Because she was the apprentice of the Divine Doctor; that made her a junior Divine Doctor. You can offend anyone, but you must never offend a Doctor. Who dares to say they will never fall ill in their life?
