The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1030: Chapter 1030: Really Admire You (37)

Yang Ruxin didn’t say anything more, but got up to wash herself. Afterward, she went to wait under the eaves outside the door.

Du Man didn’t understand what was going on, but after waiting for only a quarter-hour, she heard footsteps coming from the pavilion. Soon she saw that everyone in the small building had gotten up, even the youngest Miss Lanlan.

”Follow me and start with warm-up exercises...” Yang Ruxin called out, then began to raise her arms and kick her legs, chanting with rhythm, ”One two three four, two two three four...”

About a quarter-hour later, they started running. They ran for roughly half an hour, and everyone began to sweat. Then Gu Yao came forward, first holding the horse stance for an hour, then practicing punches for two hours...

After the workout had ended, everyone went back to freshen up and then had breakfast.

After breakfast, everyone gathered again in a side room, where Gu Qingheng taught everyone the Analects. Then Yang Ruxin conducted a small experiment on thermal expansion and contraction...

”Sister, I can teach everyone how to draw...” Yu Qingge felt she couldn’t just do nothing, ”I’ve been studying drawing since I was young, and although I’m not too skilled, I think I’m quite good, especially at comics... Of course, my best skill is playing games... It’s a pity we don’t have computers or the internet here; otherwise, we could even form a ’Chicken-Eating Squad’...”

”Don’t talk about chicken-eating.” Yang Ruxin gave the other a glance, ”Don’t mention these things outside, talking too much might lead to suspicion. This afternoon I will go to the workshop and ask Brother Rulin to make some easels...”

Yu Qingge hurriedly nodded her head.

When it was almost noon, Yang Ruxin snuck into the kitchen, then began to fuss over various foods. She made chicken rice for lunch and, after going to the workshop in the afternoon, came back and continued to make pastries.

”Sister, I really admire you, you can even make cakes without an oven...” Yu Qingge was in awe of Yang Ruxin’s lifestyle, ”And cookies too...”

”As long as one is willing, nothing is difficult.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”The key is I like to eat them, and only if I can make them myself, then I can eat whatever I want and don’t have to ask others...”

”That’s why, sister, I did the right thing by following you.” Yu Qingge excitedly ate the cake, ”If you were older, I might as well make you my daughter...”

”Stop kidding around, I can’t possibly give birth to such a big daughter...” Yang Ruxin glanced at the other, ”Alright, go out and play with Xuexue and Mengmeng, stop bothering me here...”

Yu Qingge hurried away.

In the evening, all the news they needed to gather was reported back. First was the matter of the Xie Family estate’s matchmaking event; as expected, it was the old madam of the Xie Family’s own doing. It was said she was even selecting beauties on her estate, and more so, had entrusted many matchmakers to scout for young ladies. Given all this, it wasn’t a good match for Xiaoxiang, of course. She just passed the news along, and as for what to do, Xiaoxiang would have to decide for herself.

The second piece of news was about Zhao Yicong and Zhuang Shi. It was said that the next day when they found the study empty, Zhao Yicong immediately fainted. After he finally came to, and then heard that the Official Silver in the storeroom was also gone, he fainted yet again... and Zhuang Shi was in a similar state... recently, they were busy chasing thieves...

Upon hearing the news, both Yang Ruxin and Gu Qingheng showed expressions of relief; as long as those people were unstable, they were at ease.

After a day of busyness, it finally came to New Year’s Eve.
