The Feng Shui Treasure Appraiser

106: Chapter 106 Soaring to the HeavensWang Zhiwei’s eyes were like two large light bulbs. ”Brother, how did you do it? It’s so amazing, even more shocking than the last time I saw it.”

Wang Qiang also nodded vigorously. ”Even though I’ve experienced it once, experiencing it again still feels incredible.”

Han Jingyang smiled and shook his head. ”A mere trick, not worth mentioning. How do you feel?”

”Mr. Han, I’m all better. It feels like there’s no problem at all anymore.”

”My whole body feels much lighter suddenly.”

”That groggy feeling from before is gone.”

”My head is much clearer.”

”I’m a bit scared in hindsight; luckily I met Mr. Han.”

”Mr. Han’s skill is truly beyond words. Amazing!”

”I realized something was wrong before, but I went to many places and couldn’t get cured. Yet here, it only took two or three minutes.”

”By the way, Mr. Han, I suspect the problem is at my house. When would it be convenient for you...”

Facing everyone’s compliments, Han Jingyang enjoyed it quite a bit.

However, he thought to himself: this is just the beginning.

If I were to invite the Perfected Warrior Great Emperor, wouldn’t you all have to kneel and worship?

Wait, that’s not right.

In the future, I shouldn’t perform Manifestation of Holiness easily in front of people.

Although the taste of being flattered is quite nice, no matter how extraordinary a scene is, seeing it too often makes it less rare.

On the contrary, hiding it normally and showing a hand at a critical moment has a better effect.

In marketing terms, it’s called hunger marketing.

Though it’s a bit dishonest, the effect is excellent.

That’s human nature.

Amidst the compliments, Han Jingyang noted down everyone’s addresses.

As for the time, it would depend on his mood and schedule.

If he had plenty of time, he’d go take a look.

If his schedule was busy, he’d push it back.

In any case, there was no rush.

After packing up the altar and chatting over tea for a moment, Han Jingyang stood up to leave.

Wang Zhiwei hesitated for a moment and pulled Han Jingyang back. ”Brother, why don’t you take a look at the Feng Shui in my villa while you’re at it?”

Han Jingyang said without thinking, ”Neither good nor bad, just normal Feng Shui.”

”Does that mean there’s room for adjustment?”

”Yes, but without the advantage of the general environment, it would require quite a few dharma instruments to set up the layout, and the cost would be relatively high. You should consider it.”

”No need to consider. Brother, give me a quote and just go ahead with it.”

Han Jingyang patted Wang Zhiwei on the shoulder. ”Old Wang, it’s not that I don’t want to go ahead, but I don’t have enough dharma instruments in my hands. For me, dharma instruments are rare items; they’re not something you can just buy with money, you understand?”

Wang Zhiwei was stunned. ”This...”

”At most, I can give you a number in line. There’s another family waiting ahead of you. Besides, Jiguang Zhai and my own house also need to be renovated.”

”How long will it take?”

”I’m not sure. dharma instruments can’t be mass-produced. I have to pick them out one by one in the market and perform Consecration one by one. Moreover, consecrated dharma instruments aren’t necessarily suitable for a layout, so it depends on luck.”

Hearing this, Wang Zhiwei was not disappointed but instead said hurriedly, ”Understood, understood. Then I’ll just wait in line. Brother, please, please keep an eye out for me.”

Han Jingyang nodded.

Actually, if he really wanted to set up a layout, there were still a few low-level dharma instruments available, but the effect wouldn’t be that obvious. After all, even a single item could form a layout.

However, things couldn’t be done that way.

Being at everyone’s beck and call was never a good thing.

Furthermore, the dharma instruments he had that could be used for Feng Shui layouts were indeed not many. Those Rank 7 low-level items without skills were fine for ordinary people, but using them for a minor millionaire like Wang Zhiwei would be a bit low-class.

While they were talking, Han Jingyang suddenly frowned and looked up toward Thousand Buddha Mountain.

Wang Zhiwei followed his gaze. ”Brother, what’s wrong?”

Han Jingyang’s brow was tightly furrowed, but he shook his head. ”It’s nothing.”

He then said to Wang Zhiwei, ”I’ll head back first. Call me if anything happens.”

After leaving the residential area, he said to Liu Jing, who was driving, ”Go to Thousand Buddha Mountain.”

”Huh? What are we going there for?”

”Some... strange things are happening there.”

”Strange things?”

”Yes.”

”How strange?”

”It’s suspected that people are fighting with magic.”

”Fi-fighting with magic?” Liu Jing was so shocked she stammered. ”Boss, don’t joke. This isn’t an immortal cultivation world.”

”The disturbance of the earth qi over there is very violent. If it’s not man-made, then something major must have happened.”

”What level of major event?”

”Super-engineering construction, or... an earthquake.”

”Holy crap!”

Liu Jing was so startled she cursed, slamming on the gas and instantly picking up speed.

Han Jingyang’s face was as calm as water, but his heart was churning violently.

The earth qi over there was churning so violently that it reached a thousand meters high.

Something big must be happening.

But the earth qi in other directions was almost unaffected.

Then there was only one possibility: it was man-made.

Either a super-engineering project was under construction, such as a tunnel through Thousand Buddha Mountain or a project to blow up the mountain.

Or someone was fighting with magic.

If it really was a magical duel, what kind of person could create an earth qi fluctuation a thousand meters high?

Monk Kongyun definitely didn’t have that kind of strength.

Ever since Han Jingyang obtained the compass with Qi Observation +9, he could clearly observe the flow and changes of earth qi.

Under daily circumstances, earth qi was like lake water, flowing slowly along the ground and buildings, somewhat like the mist created by melting dry ice, appearing in a sinking state; the movement of people and things would cause a certain amount of disturbance.

A Feng Shui layout was a structure that attracted earth qi and made it run according to a set path.

qi veinss were the transport channels for earth qi. The qi veinss Han Jingyang could observe were mostly based on mountains and rivers, like human blood vessels, some thick and some thin, branching out into dense networks. People also called these qi veinss Dragon Veins.

qi nodes were the exits on the transport pipes. Because of these exits, earth qi could emerge and permeate every corner above the surface. Dragon-Seeking and Point-Hitting was about finding qi nodes on the qi veinss.

Without qi nodes, all the Qi could only flow within the qi veinss, benefiting only the very few people and buildings directly above them.

The existence of qi nodes allowed everyone, animals, plants, and even buildings on the surface to share in the benefits.

What was Qi?

Han Jingyang didn’t know either and could only explain it using the ’Qi’ from classical theories.

Similarly, the earth qi in his eyes was the Qi that leaked from the qi nodes and floated on the surface.

Normally, the height of earth qi was only about three feet.

Where there were buildings, it would adhere inside them.

The distribution of earth qi was very regular. Even strong winds or extreme weather would only cause a certain amount of disturbance to it.

This was the first time Han Jingyang had seen earth qi soar into the sky for a thousand meters.

The moment he saw it, he was truly frightened.

Because of that, he had to go to the scene.

Even if he could only take a look, it would be good; at least he could broaden his horizons.

Such a miraculous sight was truly rare.

However, before they reached Thousand Buddha Mountain, the earth qi that had soared into the clouds slowly descended or dissipated, as if nothing had happened.

Should they still go?

Han Jingyang thought for a moment, took out his phone, and called Great Monk Kongyun. ”Great Monk, what happened at Thousand Buddha Mountain?”

”You know?”

”I... saw it.”

”Saw it? What did you see?”

”earth qi, earth qi soaring into the clouds,” Han Jingyang asked again. ”Great Monk, was it really experts fighting with magic?”
